for me this is another of the 'it totally depends on the sim' ones... i collect a fair number of these on a fair number of sims, though

the bodybuilding one is great if you don't play on unlimited lifespan, since it extends a sim's natural lifespan. i have aging off in most of my games, though, so it's kinda pointless to me (i still work towards it on many of my more fitness-oriented sims)

the painter and mixology ones unlock unique things (potions for mixology) or make it easier to get specific things (emotional paintings of the emotion you want), so can be quite handy, too. i've got a household with sims that have finished both of those off and sell the paintings/potions in a retail store so other sims can get them as they want

similarly, the new options unlocked with the music aspiration can be handy, too, though some of it is much easier to attain via vampires or spellcasters with certain powers/spells learned

fabulously wealthy's trait creates quite a snowball effect, too. it gives your sim a set percentage of however much money they've already got back a week, so as it adds more every week (unless you spend a lot), it gets to a point where your sim just starts making crazy amounts... especially in a household with multiple sims who all complete the aspiration (i've one household with 5 sims with it. even running a restaurant and a retail shop (and for a time, a vet office), they tend to stay at or near the max money a household can have, even dumping a bunch into their stores)

the archaeology aspiration's reward is a great way to make some pretty quick cash, as long as you're okay with the frequent stuff mailed to you to get checked out. i've actually turned that off for most of my sims with the reward, though (thankfully you can do it on a per sim basis at the mailbox when get the reward trait)

to be honest, the botanist aspiration's reward trait, naturalist, is probably among the best to get... it makes the sim fireproof, so while they can still burn down the whole house trying to make a grilled cheese, at least they won't burn up along with it

a lot of the others can be great for certain types of sims but no real need to go out of your way to get them on everyone.
(that said, i still haven't gotten around to doing the villainous valentine, neighborhood confidante or the clean/dirty ones yet so don't really have much of a say on them atm)

I like pretty much all of them! It's a lot of fun, for me, going through and deciding which aspirations and their rewards work well for each individual Sim that I play. My biggest challenge is in not wanting to do "all of them" with every Sim... haha

As for favorites, for me it's probably Friend of the World (Beloved), because I really like having my Sim's relationships not decay no matter what else the Sim is all about. And World Famous Celebrity (Unstoppable Fame) for any Sims that I open them up to becoming famous, because it's also nice having Fame not decay.

One thing you didn't mention at all is the special perk trait you get when choosing the 1st adult aspiration (which happens either when a Sim becomes a teen in game or when you first create them if created as a Teen or older). That special trait is pretty awesome too. The Star Wars one, "Prepared Traveler" is super OP, for example...a Sim with that trait almost never has to do anything to fulfill their needs as long as you have them travel to another lot a few times a day.

I like the Animal Whisperer. My Sims most often complete the Renaissance aspiration, and I don't find the Professorial reward all that useful.
I just want things to match. :'(

My favourite is the one from the master chef so the food you prepare doesn't spoil. But I also like the reward for the bodybuilder aspiration (longer life span), the grilled cheese one (summon a grilled cheese any time, very useful in the jungle for example) and the reward to write the book of life from the writing aspiration.

I have one sim doing them all but so far my favorite is Master Chef. Cooking is one of my favorite features and I love not having to ever worry about spoiled food.

I hardly ever complete aspirations, so my experience with the bonus traits is limited. Renaisance Sim I think gives the ability to write skillbooks that other sims can study from, what is neat.

An aspiration reward I've come to despise is Hero of Strangerville. The hero receives little presents, what sounds cute in theory, but ever so often the fans leave a half-dead fish in my heroes' (George Cahill and a sim of my own) mailboxes, that I then feel the need to adopt. Markus's kitchen and George's party cellar might soon see traffic as public aquariums.

@Stormkeep I'm not sure where the teen aspiration perk is? What is it called? My Sims never age lol
How do you get the Star Wars Prepared Traveler one? That one sounds awesome. I don't remember seeing that one

No, I don't mean there's a specific perk for it. I'm talking about the special trait that a sim gets based on what type of aspiration you choose when a sim ages from child to teen. To get "Prepared Traveler" you have to take either of the Star Wars aspirations as their aspiration choice when they age from child to teen.
You can change it to any other aspiration right away after getting out of the aging-up aspiration/choice interface if you want, but that initial choice is the only aspiration that gives you that bonus trait.

Each Aspiration category has a unique trait like that and you only earn them when picking that first aspiration on age up to teen (or when creating the Sim if you create a sim that is already a teen or older) so each sim is limited to just the one (unless you cheat to add others, that is).

It really depends on the sim. None of the rewards are really a "must-have" for me.

As for aspirations, I generally choose whatever fits with the Sim.

Aside from fresh chef, beloved and sometimes player, I rarely use the reward traits.
The money ones are nice, but they generally take a lot of time to complete.

I hate bodybuilder cause they live FOREVER. If I wanted that I'd have aging off. When I'm playing regularly sometimes it takes numerous generations for a body builder to kick it. I think I had to manually kill off the one who had completed the aspiration cause he just wouldn't die.

I have a mod which lets me purchase any of the aspiration rewards, and I can't work out which mod it is. I mean to turn it off when I can, as they seem like things to be worked for, not purchased
