Sofia Bjergsen
Teen musical prodigy Sofia and her trustworthy guitar had come a long way from the Crumbling Isle of Windenburg to Mirage Park of Del Sol Valley, and finally the Pinnacles.
Growing up
Sofia had learnt to play guitar in her childhood home on the Crumbling Isle of Windenburg. She doesn't remember much of that time anymore.
But there was that time when she played in a real lounge on a real stage for the first time and her best friend Luna, who had come to cheer for her, pretended not to know her.
Luna dared to come closer only after Thorne Bailey had drawn in larger audience and stolen Sofia's spotlight. Thanks Luna.
Then there was the time when Johnny Zest joined the Paragons and Luna had a crush on him and they started dating, got married and... well, eventually there was a lot of drama, Luna and Johnny divorced, the Paragons was disbanded and Sofia and Luna decided to never talk to Johnny or Sofia's aunt Anna again.
Somewhere in the middle of all that Sofia had moved to Mirage Park with the help of her parents and started to pursue stardom professionally. Breakfast cereals tasted weird in her new little home.
She had socialised with famous people...
... and newbies like her neighbour Venessa Jeong, and befriended them (or that's what she thought. Venessa actually didn't like Sofia that much).
It wasn't easy to find gigs. Employers primarily wanted actors, not guitar players, but Sofia didn't give up and played on, no matter whether she was in a lounge, bar, park, gym or somewhere behind a gym. She played at gyms a lot and she met Kayla Flemming at the local gym.
They started dating...
... and then broke up. Most likely because of Kayla's juice problems, though Sofia wasn't fully aware of them.
Sofia was heartbroken and lonely. So she got a little puppy, Lilo, and poured all her heart into her career and taking care of Lilo.
Lilo grew up in Mirage Park.
And finally they moved to the Pinnacles and their life started to be more luxurious.
Sofia loved the pool and sometimes Lilo swam with her there.
Octavia Moon
Sofia didn't remember when she first noticed Octavia, but they grew closer quickly and Octavia's spouse, Thorne Bailey, noticed it too.
Octavia tresured her family, or mainly her son Orange, but she also enjoyed Sofia's company. She was torn until she realised she and Thorne had already drifted apart irreversibly.
And nothing could have made Sofia happier than seeing Octavia at her door that one evening when Sofia and Lilo were returning from a walk. Octavia and Thorne were history.
Octavia wondered whether she could stay at Sofia's place and Sofia welcomed her.
Later Sofia and Octavia went on a vacation.
When Sofia stared at the stars and all the blue that surrounded them she felt such inner peace. Not because of what she had done (technically she was no better than her aunt Anna who had caused Luna and Johnny's divorce, though one could argue that Sofia hadn't done as bad as Anna), but because the scenery was so pretty and Octavia was with her.
Venessa was an aspiring actor in Del Sol Valley until she met Sofia.
Venessa wasn't sure what happened, but at some point her insecurities just started to eat her up. Perhaps she compared herself to Sofia too much? One day she just had had enough. She would never reach her dream and become an actor!! So she gave up. Was it Sofia's fault? At least Venessa liked to blame her for it, silently.
Venessa moved to San Myshuno. Life was dull and she didn't know what she should aspire for.
She found a job in a cafe and soon after she started to have these weird stomach pains.

The Engagement
Sofia decided it should be a public engagement, because it would be useful for both her and Octavia's career. After all, Octavia was a writer and vlogger. Currently she was writing this short story mystery trilogy... Octavia hadn't really wanted to write a trilogy, but the publishing department had persuaded her to do it, because they had decided to make a movie of her first book! Now she only had the last book left to write and she had started it, but she was pretty much out of ideas...
(Yeap the divorce inspired Octavia's vlogs. Oh and Sofia had composed a song for her. It played on the radio and wasn't private anymore, because money is money and they had bills to pay. And they always forgot to pay them until the power was shut off...)
Anyway, it was a sunny summer day when Sofia took Octavia to the Starlight Boulevard.
She had decided to pop the question in front of the waterfall fountain and could hardly keep a poker face.
"Oh Octavia! Will you marry me?"
Octavia didn't say no to that face, but there are no more pictures, because the place started to swarm with paparazzi, fans and bypassers. Sofia and Octavia entertained their audience for a while with public kisses and Sofia played a couple of songs and serenaded to Octavia.
Later that day Sofia was getting perfectly sunkissed by the pool when her dad Bjorn called her and asked why did she never visit them anymore. Had he read about the engagement somewhere or was it just a parental instinct? Sofia promised to visit tomorrow and the next day she and Octavia travelled to Olde Platz of Windenburg.
Clara greeted her daughter with a loving hug, but Bjorn was busy with the computer.
Sofia talked up Octavia to her mom and Clara was eager to get to know her. She liked Octavia a lot. Sofia waited for her dad to join them, but soon she realised she'd have to go get him. She went to her dad and told him she wanted him to meet Octavia, her fiance.
Bjorn said:
It seemed like he hadn't heard about the engagement... or maybe he pretended he didn't know.
Then all of them sat around the table and Bjorn liked Octavia too.
Octavia thought it was lovely to get to know Sofia's parents. It was a Midsummer holiday and it was raining, so Sofia and Octavia wanted to play in the rain to have some water fun. It wasn't enough celebration though, so both of them thought the holiday itself was awful, though it had otherwise been a very sweet day.
Probably the next day or a day after that Sofia and Octavia decided to go and have dinner together. They were just hungry. Sofia didn't feel like cooking and Octavia never cooked. While waiting for their food they chatted this and that and just when their food arrived Octavia got Crumplebottomed! Sofia thought it was funny because they hadn't really done anything.
Octavia always wanted to have red wine. She drank it at home too. Sofia had seen the glasses, though Octavia prefered to drink alone. She said it helped her to write.
The food was sooo good. Sofia had a bit of trouble with chopsticks though. The restaurant gave them discount and they went upstairs to sing karaoke. (Sofia also wanted to work on her new song.)
They sang a duet.
Then Octavia said she actually wanted to watch Sofia sing, so she sat down on a sofa and watched her perform. And in the middle of the song her phone rang. It was Diego Lobo who told her that she'd inherit her distant relative's large fortune. Octavia was excited! Moneymoneymoney mooney! And then she learnt there was one condition.
Octavia didn't tell Sofia about the phone call. She forgot all about it because she wanted to woohoo with Sofia and they had to travel to the hotel next door.
The Wedding (preparations)
Next day Sofia was relaxing at the pool again, but Octavia thought about the phone call. Suddenly she was enthusiastic about the wedding and wanted to organise everything. That's why they decided to introduce Octavia to the rest of Sofia's family and friends.
They met Sofia's sister Elsa who lived in San Myshuno with Billie Jang.
Elsa thought it was crazy to get married so soon! She hadn't even met Octavia before!
But Sofia assured her she had made the right choice and Octavia was very sweet.
Elsa did like Octavia a lot when they were introduced to each other.
Then they visited Venessa Jeong. Sofia left Octavia to watch tv with Miko, but it was a bit awkward at first, because Miko was very depressed about something and didn't pay any attention to Octavia but just muttered by herself. After a bit they had a nice little chat though. Sofia went to the kitchen to talk with Venessa.
Venessa said she wouldn't be able to attend the wedding. It was summer, the sun was shining almost every day unbearably and she had to stay inside till the nightfall. Then she started to do the dishes, though Sofia had sat at the table and would have still wanted to catch up with her. It was a bit awkward and soon Sofia went to get Octavia and they left.
It was time to meet Luna.
Luna lived in San Myshuno too and, like everyone else, she also thought Octavia was great.
It was all fun until Luna's dad decided to join them. Octavia and Sofia realised it was already very late and it was time to go home.
The following morning Octavia was a bit tense and wanted to take a mud bath. The sunglasses were perfect to support the cucumbers. Octavia wondered whether the fortune was actually a scam. Everyone knew about their engagement after all. Was Diego Lobo trustworthy? What did he have to do with all this?
Sofia wanted Octavia to meet Morgan Fyres (they had been friends already when Sofia still lived in Windenburg), so she called her and asked her to come visit. Holly Alto was both Sofia and Octavia's friend and Sofia also invited her.
Morgan had already arrived when Sofia got a call from Holly.
Sofia was puzzled. She said no and explained that she was going to get married with Octavia.
Soon Holly was at their door and Octavia, who had no idea Holly had asked Sofia out, went to greet her. Octavia was stressed about the wedding organisations and told her about the phone call with Diego Lobo. Holly stared at her weirdly and didn't say much.
Sofia and Morgan joined them and they had a nice time.
Then it was time to decided the wedding place. Sofia and Octavia visited a couple of places such as Myshuno Meadows.
Sofia enjoyed the fireworks, but Octavia wasn't happy with the place.
They were getting desperate until Octavia spotted a promising place in Brindleton Bay, the Heartswithe Hall.
It was raining when they arrived, but nothing could crush Octavia's optimism.
They walked around...
And finally Octavia turned to Sofia and said happily: "This is it!"
It's funny that their fans seemed to be more elated than them.
Before going home Octavia and Sofia took a picture together and posted it on simstagram.
Oh and they had already picked their wedding dresses too. Octavia would have preferred the evening gloves, but it was summer so she had to give up on them.
The Wedding (event)
Octavia sighed: "But then we won't get the enormous fortune..." and she told Sofia about the inheritance phone call.
"Well, it's always nice to make money, but we don't really need it. At least not if it makes you worry and unhappy", Sofia declared.
Octavia laughed about it, but Sofia's words and the massage made her confident. They went downstairs and had french toast leftovers for breakfast. Octavia decided that the wedding would be splendid.
Sofia ordered a wedding cake, but she was a bit surprised when it was delivered by a tiny little girl who didn't even have shoes.
It was Tidy Pancakes and her grandma had baked the cake. Tidy said her grandma was the best baker in the whole world and asked for an autograph, but Sofia didn't want to give one, neither did Octavia. Tidy sighed. Grandma had told her to be polite so she left the cake in the kitchen and headed back home.
Even if Lilo's moms were a bit cold, Lilo loved Tidy!
Then it was the day and Sofia started it with simstagram posts. The weather was sunny and hot when they arrived to the wedding place, but soon they realised they had forgotten the wedding cake. Fortunately they managed to get it delivered (It was such a hassle because I couldn't put the cake in Sofia's inventory, but Tidy came to the rescue
Everyone was there except Orange. Octavia called him again and asked him to come. He promised to be there.
Finally they were ready to begin. Sofia was feeling flirty and Octavia was energized.
Sofia: "It's such a pretty ring!"
Octavia: "You are prettier."
Holly looked like she accepted her defeat.
During the ceremony Lilo was having the time of her life fighting with squirrels and listening to the music. She was super excited about it!
Octavia: "Hi there, wife!"
When the ceremony was over it was time to spend time with the guests.
Octavia: "I'm so glad I didn't faint there!"
Luna: "Yes it so hot, but don't worry we could have sprinkled water from the fountain on you!"
Sofia: "Oh hi glad to see you here too, Evangeline! I read you won in the lottery!"
Octavia: "You look so stylish Clara!"
Clara: "Why, thank you! This dress is actually very old..."
Orange had arrived, but he hadn't wanted to watch the ceremony and was reading books inside instead. Octavia called him over and introduced him to Sofia. Orange said Sofia was great and he chatted with them for a bit!
Then Sofia and Octavia went inside and cut the cake.
Octavia: "Sofia! You took too much..."
Sofia: "Oh shuddup
The cake was exceptionally delicious!
And soon everyone would be able to read it from celebrity news and magazines too.
Orange was very angry and unwinded in front of the mirror when Sofia found him.
She tried to talk with him and it sounded like Orange was upset how his mother always just called or texted him and never visited. Mom had just left him!
Sofia promised Orange could visit them whenever he wanted. Suddenly Octavia was in the bathroom too and looked at them suspiciously.
Orange was already in a better mood so he left and Sofia followed him with a smug smile on her face.
Johnny congratulated Octavia. They were friends, kind of, but it had been better not to invite him.
Elsa had some cake too. Papa Bjorn was chatting with a fan. There were many fans swarming around the place... it might have been a good idea to organise a private party.
It was time for Sofia to serenade to Octavia in the front steps of the Heartswithe Hall. She also played the song, Two Moons in the Sky, she had composed for their wedding day.
Octavia wanted to escape inside for the whole time Sofia was playing their song, because she realised she hadn't prepared anything for Sofia, like a poem or anything. Sofia didn't mind.
Then Sofia wanted to cloudgaze with her mom before the wedding would be over and they went to the garden in the backyard.
It was nice to spend a moment with mom. There weren't any clouds in the sky though.
"I'm sure you two will be happy", Clara said.
It was sunset when the wedding ended. Sofia and Octavia admired the rising moon and tossed some lucky coins in the fountain.
They tried to spend their wedding night upstairs, but it was impossible to get their fans and paparazzi leave. Sofia even bribed one paparazzo before they gave up and decided to head back home.
Lilo had brought some feathers and gifts for both of them. Sofia got an action figure and Octavia got a broken fossil
