New picture

So I was working on my current WIP today and I just noticed this artwork:
i1lyRtW.png

Is this from a patch? It's not CC because I don't use CC...

Weird! Anyway I love it because it looks really 80s and my lot is meant to be set in the late 80s so I'm definitely keeping it in there

(I didn't really know where to put this topic... sorry!)

That picture indeed came with a patch. It does look a bit like those big hair hairspray commercials.

The only way to get custom pictures or paintings in a build on the gallery without being "CC" is for someone to use a CC Painting/picture, then have a sim photograph it or paint it. Then turn off CC, reload the game, and upload the build.

(For example, when painting from reference, it saves as non "CC" so it's the same effect.)

I like it. But where is this photo? It looks like a car repair shop.

Oh it’s my latest build! You can find it on the gallery under Happy Herb’s Auto Repairs or just use my origin ID in my description

@GracieO312 Found your "Abandoned Factory". Amazing build!

Shouldn't take much to make it a beautiful park. Now... Should I place the toilet next to the chess table? Or maybe the playground equipment? :D:p

Apparently, going back to the original topic, that was a free update prior to the release of the Industrial Loft kit.
The Industrial Loft Kit lets you get a contemporary, Brooklyn-style aesthetic going in your sims' homes, but the paid content isn't the only thing joining the game. A free update has just gone live with a lovely bit of new furniture: a piece of art by Ohni Lisle.

You'll find the new painting, titled Hair Vision, in build mode under decorations, in the paintings and posters category. As the devs explain in a press release, “Ohni is a contemporary artist who uses a mix of materials to create masterpieces of colorful, expressive design inspired by nature, art, and the human form.”

Ah it's so cool seeing one of your builds in someone else's game! Great feeling

The factory build annoys me intensely now because I finished it probably about 2 weeks before JtB came out - I could've made it look so much better! I usually just set my builds to residential take screenshots for my story so I don't have random sims running around messing my screens up haha  therefore a lot of my builds are just for aesthetic purposes/storytelling. I've decided that I am a builder who specialises in 'realistic' set builds

I'm excited about my next build project though
