Sims working during Holidays

For the last two irl weeks my sim have always went to work during a Holiday. Today was a Harvest Day, I click Got to Work, she gets dressed and goes outside but she stops. I click click click on Got to Work, but nothing happens. Ok, that must be the new normal I guess, we don't work on holidays. Tired, I exit the game, but when I come back later the 1st thing my sim does is she goes to work for the remainder of the day.
So, work or no work on holidays? WHICH IS IT EA?
