Does Anyone Else Think It Strange…

What is the strangest thing that happens in our Sims game?

One thing I find a bit strange is when they brew coffee, they put the grounds in, but no water. Yet, it brews a pot of Java just fine. :open_mouth: So very Simish of them. LOL

Please share what you find strange or a bit off, if you will. :)

Maybe the coffee makers are the fancy kind that have a direct line to the water system.

IRL, if you drink coffee ever day, it's worth getting one. They aren't even that much more expensive than a regular one.

Interesting, I've never even heard of such before. But from where do they get the water? That's always a concern. LOL In the HOA we live in we share a well.

It's just a small, flexible PEX (or similiar) water line like you'd run to a refrigerator that has an ice maker. It taps into the water that feeds the kitchen sink generally. Very easy job to put in a T valve under the sink, I did it myself but you could probabably pay someone to do relatively cheaply, it only takes a couple minutes to do.

I have a refrigerator which has an ice maker and a water filtration system built in with a "tap" on the door in the front, next to it is the ice dispenser. So I can get a glass of cold ice water all from the front (outside) of my refrigerator. Anywho, I have a PVC T in the water line that also feeds the coffee maker.

I've thought its strange how they can pull large items like outrigger canoes out of their ... personal inventory.

It's incredible what they keep in their back pockets, no? LOL I like how you worded it. ;)

I instantly thought of the Flashheart quote from Blackadder II.

I'm still wondering how my characters in Skyrim manage to keep a bow, enough arrows to supply the Persian army at Carrhae, enough potions to keep the apothecary in inventory for the rest of existence, several large chunks of unrefined metal ore, several more ingots of refined metal ore, a pickaxe, a woodcutter's axe, a sword, 50,000 gold coins that even if they weigh just a gram apiece (they weigh more than that, surely) would be heavy enough on their own, and a partridge in a pear tree on their person while still being able to run at a full sprint for 400 meters at a clip and sneak without anything in that inventory jangling around and alerting the enemy.

    Hammerspace is weird.

The Inventory does seem to defy all known laws of nature.

Now, sing along with Father Winter and his Honey Pop! Karaoke Elves...

On the twelfth day of Winterfest, my Sim took from his inventory...
    Twelve BBQ Drums,
    Eleven Galvanized Industrial Wall Pipes,
Ten Serene Chilli Lords by Stick Figures,
Nine Glow in the Funk Dance Floors (Petite),
    Eight Maiden's Gates,
    Seven Swan Thrones,
Six Lay Me Down Gently Nightstands,
    Fiiiive Golllldbloom's Grocery Shopssssss..
Four There May Be a Bird Outside Windows,
    Three Mother Hens,
    Two Goldova Dove Décors,
...and a partridge in a Bramblewood's DeLightful Tree!

    (I couldn't resist.)
