I also wanted to react on your Batuu adventure but like I know 0% of Star Wars and all of that was like Chinese to me so maybe I better skip reacting to that😂 still it was nice to (try and) follow!
We packed up and teleported out of Granite Falls before the sun had risen. Before taking the bus into Del Sol Valley, we bought some hair dye and new clothing and altered our appearances. We decided to take the names of Andrew, Katie, and Carlie Starr to throw off anyone searching for us.
Kaori had been making some phone calls and told us she'd possibly found us a place in a trailer park that had recently opened, so we went to check it out.
There were four trailers in the park, three of which were already being rented. Also included was a communal pool in the center of the complex as well as a community center with ping-pong and game tables available to use.
Kaori led us up to one of the trailers and told us this one could be ours if we wanted it.
"It comes fully furnished and even has a murphy bed that Carol can use," she said leading us inside.
I quickly looked around at the three roomed trailer which was small but clean.
"I like it," I said giving Kaori a kiss "Good find honey."
"Should I call the realtor back and tell them we'll take it then?" she said smiling.
I nodded and she walked out to the pool to make the phone call.
Once Kaori confirmed that the place was ours, we put on our suits and joined her at the pool.
Soon we were joined by an occupant of one of the other trailers, a man who introduced himself as Jaiden Garcia.
We sat and chatted for awhile before an older man, a Gideon Grant, also came out to find out who we were.
It was getting a little crowded in the pool, so we invited everyone over to our new patio to chat.
Everything was going great when Jaiden suddenly turned to Kaori and told her he was madly in love with her. I was filled with a rage I'd only felt a few times in my life, and quickly told him in no uncertain terms that Kaori and I were married.
He nodded but continued to look over and Kaori longingly, so I removed myself from the patio before I did something I might regret.
Kaori soon joined me inside and took my hands in hers.
"Adam," she said tenderly, "what's wrong."
"I don't like the way he looks at you," I said glancing out the window to where Jaiden sat chatting with Carol. "And I especially don't like that he was willing to flirt with you right in front of me."
Kaori smiled, "I appreciate your protectiveness Adam," she said, "but I'm not interested in Jaiden and I've already told him so." She leaned in a gave me a kiss. "You're my one and only love and a good looking guy isn't going to change that."
I kissed her back and suddenly felt a little embarrassed over my overreaction.
"Do you want to get out of here and go check out the spa downtown?" Kaori asked.
I smiled, feeling the tension leaving my shoulders, "You know me too well," I grinned.
We grabbed Carol and soon found ourselves standing in front of a very fancy looking spa.
Almost right away Carol spotted Thorne Bailey, a famous musician, and ran up and asked him for his autograph. He looked annoyed and turned her down, but Carol still ran over and squealed about the encounter.
I was able to find the yoga room quickly enough, but there didn't seem to be a yoga instructor currently working there. Maybe that was good news?
I took the opportunity of being alone with Carol to tell her I didn't want her hanging out with Jaiden unless someone else was nearby.
She gave me a weird look but agreed to not go anywhere alone with him.
After touring the whole spa, we left and wandered around the downtown area, taking in the sights. We came upon a park with a stage presumably used for small concerts, and I noticed that the open grassy space in front of the stage would be the perfect place to hold a yoga class!
Good thing a bring my mat everywhere I go!
I set up and soon had an eager crowd surrounding me, including Judith Ward!
We had an amazing session, and Judith herself even gave me a tip and complimented me on my class!
I told her I wanted to start teaching classes at the spa, and she gave me the spa owner's number and told me to let them know I came with her recommendation!
Carol couldn't contain herself anymore, and asked if she could have Judith's autograph, which she graciously gave to her.
Carol was thrilled!
As the sun began to set, we said out goodbyes and headed back to our new home.
New Looks
I was trying to completely change up Adam's look, so I went with mostly blacks and no greens this time. Everyday, Party, Active, Hot, Cold
Adam has completed 9 aspirations so far, and maxed out 12 skills.
My plans for this month are to complete the World Famous Celebrity and Self-Care Specialist aspirations before heading to Selvadorada for the rest of the month. I'm going to skip the Actor aspiration, as it doesn't really fit with Adam's story or personality.
This is the house Cale and his family will live in once I'm finished remodeling it. It won't be on this lot for one thing. The outside will most likely look pretty much the same, but the inside needed quite a few changes. Tomorrow's update will include a look at the family's new wardrobe and a few screenshots of the interior. Hope y'all had a fantastic day/night and Welcome to June and DSV!
D.J. decides to head back to the curio shop after a day of research and coming up empty handed. Maybe Erwin might know something. D.J. knows Erwin is hiding something. Dylan, who's been keeping quiet but hanging around, asks if he can follow along. D.J. knew it wouldn't hurt to have a fresh face joining. He also took Cale and Aaron along with again. Erwin seemed to like Cale.
"Welcome back, boys!" Erwin states. Looking over at Cale, "How's the alien disruptor helmet?"
"No aliens in my head!" Cale exclaims tapping the colander on his head.
"So..." D.J. interjects staring at Erwin. "Last time, you said you had more stuff. Stuff you took from officials. Any chance I can take a look at some of it?"
Erwin nervously looks at D.J. "Uh...I don't think I did. You must have misheard me or something."
Erwin turns around to see Dylan rummaging through some of the wares in the little shack.
"What are you doing?" Erwin asks Dylan. "You can't be back here."
"Oh, sorry. My bad. I was looking at all the neat things in here for sale."
Erwin again says, "You can't be back here. If you want to buy something, you need to go to the other side."
"Okay, okay!" Dylan says as he puts his hands up and backs away.
"C'mon Erwin!" D.J. says. "You know or have more information than you're leading on here. I'll be up front and honest with you, but you need to be in return. We're actually part of the military stationed here. We all got drafted. We don't want to be here. We're just looking for a way for us to get out. The sooner the better."
"I really do think it's aliens." Erwins sighs. "Look at all them weird looking plants. And we were able to get into the building. Some officers and scientists looked like they were dead. We weren't sure. We only took some of their clothing. I swear. We were shuffling through papers and folders trying to figure out what was going on in the building. There was this loud screeching noise and we got the !#$% out. We haven't been there since."
"I hope you're telling me everything, Erwin. I would hate to have to bring my superiors into this!"
"That's all I know! You'll excuse me now if you're not going to buy anything!"
D.J. shrugs and looks over at the other three.
"Let's go." D.J. says.
"I'll catch up with you guys in a moment. I want to see what else he's got for sale from what he said." Cale replies raising an eyebrow.
As D.J., Aaron, and Dylan start to walk back towards the base, Cale is seen discussing with Erwin about some other merchandise.
D.J. stops to take a picture of the purplish looking pod plant that Erwin mentioned were all around town. Again, D.J. wondered why he never paid attention to something like this earlier. After he takes a few snapshots from his phone, he notices he has a couple missed calls and texts from Paige. She must be worried sick, he thought to himself. He would reach out to her later that evening.
When it comes to lunchtime, Dylan sits down next to D.J.
"Hey, Dylan!" D.J. says with a smile.
"I think I might have something to help you. You were discussing with us yesterday about a door that might need some type of ID card or keycard to enter."
Dylan takes out a plastic card from his pocket with the Laboratory name printed on it.
"Where did you get that?" D.J. asks Dylan.
Dylan quietly answers, "Growing up as a teen, I had to learn to live on my own. My parents were killed because of me. I have something someone wants. It's not this. Anyway, I've learned I had to take what I needed. I'm not proud of stealing. A lot of stuff I've returned to their owner when I was done using it if it was returnable. Earlier today when you were talking to that guy...Erwin...I think you called him, I was sifting through his shop wares and saw this. I was able to pocket it before he saw me and pushed me out."
"This is a big help. Thank you, Dylan."
"My only request in giving this to you is you let me join you when you go there...please."
"Of course. I'm sorry about your parents. Makes me sad I ran away when I was a teenager now. The two always fought and I got tired of it. I guess I should cherish the moments with them. We'll move out when it gets dark. I'll keep you informed."
Dylan hands D.J. the plastic card for which he pockets it himself.
Before heading out, D.J. texts Paige back messaging her:
Sorry I haven't returned your calls or texted. A lot going on right now. I'm alive and well. Miss you lots! xoxo
As darkness took to the sky, D.J., Aldo, Aaron, and Dylan made their way to the Laboratory. The four entered through the back again. D.J now wonders if Erwin and friends were the ones who ransacked the different rooms.
D.J. takes out the plastic card that Dylan gave him. Pressing it up to the control panel, the mechanical door slides open. A handful of small floating spores exit from the other side of the door. Aaron is amazed at the beautiful colors of them.
Beyond the mechanical doors were stairs leading downward. Behind the stairs was a corridor. Within the corridor was a bluish mist along with more of the floating spores. Not only was Aaron in amazement, but so was Dylan this time. He gazed in awe...
...and without thinking stepped through the corridor and into the mist. Dylan begins to start coughing hard.
Dylan immediately turns around and walks out.
"Are you alright?" D.J. asks Dylan. "Why did you walk through that?"
"I feel fine. Too much coughing I needed to get out." Dylan replied. "It looked so colorful, I wanted a closer look."
"Don't do that again. We don't know what that mist is. Or anything about these floating spores. We need to be careful!"
Then Dylan collapses and passes out on the floor.
Side Note:
In-game, one can buy the keycard at the curio shop, but where's the drama in that? One of Dylan's traits is Kleptomaniac, so I used it as a portion of the story.
*So I have not had the time to stage the story part that will make Aaron go to Del Sol Valley in the first place, but I have given him his new wardrobe for next this month. I'm just posting it now along with links to his new CC because I won't have time otherwise. Honestly I'm tempted to just put him, Hunter and Yoshi in DSV and let the reason be revealed over the month or something dumb like that lol
This update can also serve as a little end of month recap thing with his skills and stuff
I have finals soon (and I am STRESSED), however I should be all finished with those on June 14, hooray!
I honestly do not know when I'll next get time to do comments, hoping for this weekend but if they don't happen, you know the reason why.

Then I let him work on the fishing aspiration for a bit
And some woodworking for the nerd brain aspiration cause why not (he got to the milestone where he needs to build a rocket and I was like LOL not happening )

It was a nice change to be able to get up out of a bed and cook breakfast on a stove.
Carol was off to her first day of school, so I gave her a hug and wished her luck.
I took some of the crystals I'd collected and sent them off in the mail to find out what they were made of, and I actually received some element samples back just a few hours later!
Talk about service!
Kaori came out and told me she'd been able to find a job as a professor at a local school, and asked if she could practice her first lecture on me.
The good news is she has until tomorrow to perfect it.
Speaking of jobs, I pulled out my phone and called the number Judith had given me the day before.
The Spa owner seemed impressed with my connections, and offered me a job on the spot!
I start tomorrow!
I went to go share the good news with Kaori, and found her in the community garden talking to Gideon and his wife Madeleine.
I introduced myself, and we chatted about their lives as well the local sights.
I found out Gideon was employed as a gardener for the rich and famous and still worked part time for the love of his work. Madeleine was a retired Civil Designer, and sold her knitting and cross-stitching on Plopsy.
"If you ever want to take your charming wife somewhere special," Madeleine whispered conspiratorially, "try the rooftop gardens at our local museum. They boast quite the view of the area, and are a good place to be alone with the one you love."
I thanked her, and when they made their leave, I asked Kaori if she'd like to go on a date.
The museum was a gorgeous building, and when we found the rooftop gardens, the views where just as spectacular as Madeleine had promised.
We snuggled up together on one of the couches and enjoyed each other's company.
That is until a random guy came up and passed out in front of us.
We took our leave after that.
Back at home, Carol had already returned from school, so I helped her out with her homework.
When we finished, Carol went out to enjoy the evening and ran into the little girl who lives next door.
I think they found a connection through their mutual passion for the color pink
I came outside just as the girl's mom joined them, and we made our introductions.
The mom's name was Mallory Fay and her daughter was Arielle. She currently worked in social media and hoped to someday go viral and become a famous influencer.
We chatted until Mallory explained it was past Arielle's bedtime, and she should really be getting her to bed.
We wished them goodnight, and I headed inside to see what Kaori was up to.
Carol stayed out a little while longer, but I didn't notice what she was up to as Kaori and I got a little distracted in our bedroom, if you know what I mean.
I think she may have gone swimming.
I am still here. I was just about to add some photos to my up-date and the server for Postimages is down. Grrr... I am so behind as it is and I am on overtime every night this week and possibly Sat. I will try to get the up-date out tonight, but if not, I will do some comments.
SATURDAY - Part 3
Dylan came home after his Soccer Match, winning the game again. Even though his mind had been on the game, it had also been on something else...or rather, someone else...Morgan. As soon as he got home, he saw her there, and went over to talk to her.
Dylan: "Morgan, I was wondering if you would like to do something tonight. Perhaps go out somewhere together. I just won my soccer game and I'm feeling pretty good. I mean...if you're...if you're not busy..."
Morgan: "No, I'm not busy. What did you have in mind?"
Dylan: "I heard there's a bowling alley on campus...maybe you'd like to bowl a few games with me?"
Morgan: "Bowling? I haven't been since I was a kid. Sure, that sounds like fun..."
Dylan: "Okay, I just have to shower and change...won't be very long..."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
When Dylan came downstairs, Morgan had also changed. They were going out wearing their university colors tonight. Dylan was going to pretend like he didn't know that anything had happened between Morgan and Paolo, or that Paolo was her ex-boyfriend. Dylan would just carry on and spend time with Morgan. They left the house together and it was a short walk to the bowling alley.
They headed inside and got their bowling shoes.
Dylan: "Morgan...I have to confess...I've never bowled before. So, you are going to have an advantage here..."
Morgan looked at him and smiled, "Really? Oh, you are going down!" she said laughing.
The bowling alley wasn't very busy, but they heard an overhead announcement saying it was "singles night". They chose a lane and started to bowl.
Morgan went first, "Luckily it's electronic scoring, so you won't be able to rig the score or anything..."
Dylan looked at her, "Do you think I need to cheat to win? Oh no! I am going to win this game, and then you'll have to..."
Morgan perked up, "I'm going to have to what, Dylan?"
Dylan: "Er...um....I was going to say that the loser has to buy a round of drinks later," he said winking at her.
Morgan: "Oh? A little wager? Okay, that sounds fair...and when I win, I will order the most expensive drink on the menu. Prepare to shell out those simoleons, Dylan!"
Dylan: "You are pretty sure of yourself tonight, Morgan. So, let's see what you've got. Oh, and I'm also going to throw in grovelling...the loser has to grovel before the winner..."
Morgan: "Oh, you are just digging yourself deeper, Dylan. Watch this!" she said as she took the bowling ball from the rack. Morgan looked back at Dylan not really paying attention to where the ball was going.
And suddenly...oh gosh...it went straight up in the air.
Morgan: "Okay, well that's never happened before....darn ball slipped from my fingers..."
Dylan: "That could have happened to anyone. Maybe you're just a bit nervous..."
Morgan: "Nervous? I'm not frikin' nervous. It just slipped....you're the one who should be nervous! Nervous...ha! We'll see how you do on your first ball..."
Dylan went up to the rack, chose a ball and then whipped it under his leg.
Morgan looked at Dylan speechless, "I thought you said you never bowled before? What the heck was that move?"
Dylan: "No, I haven't bowled before...but balls are balls...and I'm pretty good with a soccer ball, you know. So, maybe it's rubbing off on my bowling skills..." he chuckled, "You're up!"
And they continued to bowl. And both of them are more interested in looking at each other than keeping their eye on the ball.
Dylan was definitely doing better than Morgan, and then this happened.
And I had to laugh because right after Dylan got a gutterball, this popped up! Oh sure, Dylan loves bowling!
Morgan: "I see the ploy here...you keep talking to me when I throw the ball, so I'm not concentrating..."
Dylan: "What? Okay, I would never do anything like that...you're just not watching the ball..."
Morgan rolls the ball, and..."Oh sheesh! I can't believe this! Another gutter ball. Could we play bumper bowling instead?"
Dylan lines up his ball and gives Morgan a sideways glance.
Morgan: "Dylan, keep you eyes on the ball...isn't that what you told me?"
Dylan: "I can't keep my eye on the ball, when you are looking so good over there. Stop distracting me!"
And Dylan gets a STRIKE!
Dylan: "On second thought, just keep distracting me...it seems to make me get a strike better!" he said chuckling.
Morgan put her hands up in the air, "Oh my gosh! How am I supposed to compete with that? I swear, Dylan, if I find out that you have bowling experience and you've put one over on me, so help me...I am going to...I am going to punch you on your bowling arm..."
Dylan: "Well, you can give it your best shot...but these muscles are pretty firm," he replied showing off his muscles to her.
Morgan couldn't help but look and felt her face flush, "Wow! Yes...they do look rather firm...but...um....but bowling has nothing to do with muscles...so there! It's skill...all skill...so just keep those muscles covered...they mean nothing..."
Dylan: "Um...Morgan...you're looking a bit flushed...can I get you a glass of water?"
Morgan: "I am not flushed...now...just quit talking to me...I feel a strike coming on..."
And Morgan finally gets some pins down. Maybe there would be more if she kept her eyes off of Dylan.
Dylan: "That looked pretty good from where I was standing...REALLY nice form there!"
As they bowled, they talked about their plans after university, and Morgan told Dylan that she had applied for an internship on an archaeological dig in Selvadorada.
Morgan: "It will be quite an adventure heading into the jungle..."
Dylan said he didn't really have any plans, "Perhaps I'll just follow you there. Protect you...in case you come across any mummies..." he said grinning.
They both laughed and then Morgan got a text from Paolo. What? Seriously? During their date?
Afterwards, they continued with the bowling game.
And there's a STRIKE for Dylan. Woot!
And Morgan throws the ball...and it's looking good this time...
...but no....another gutter ball...how? how did that ball veer off?
Morgan: "There is definitely something wrong with this lane. We should start a new game in another lane...this is unbelievable! I am beginning to hate clowns!"
Morgan: "I am so done with this game!"
And then the game glitched, and there was no final score. However, if the number of gutterballs that Morgan got is any indication, then Dylan definitely won this game.

They headed over to the bar area, and Morgan asked Dylan what he would like to drink.
Dylan: "I say we celebrate with rootbeer floats. What do you think?"
Morgan: "That sounds good," she said as she motioned to the bartender and ordered two rootbeer floats.
Dylan: "Oh and about the grovelling part, Morgan...you don't have to do that...I was just joking about it..."
Morgan: "Well...I don't mind...you won fair and square...afterall, it beats the bet we had the last time in the dance battle..."
Dylan thought back for a moment, "You mean the one where I had to run around the block in my skivvies? That was quite exhilarating. I kind of liked that bet..."
Morgan: "I really think you liked losing that bet so you could show off those...um...rather unique skivvies..." she answered laughing.
Dylan smirked at her, "It seems you are always seeing me in my skivvies..."
Morgan swallowed hard remembering the time they swam at The Bluffs together in their underwear, "Yeah...I guess I am...which means we are even now on the bets..."
Dylan raised an eyebrow, "Really? Well, maybe that just means it's a tie-breaker, waiting for one of us to make another bet..." he said looking longingly at Morgan.
Morgan turned away embarrassed and took a sip of her rootbeer float, "Yeah...well, maybe we should bet on who will get the better grades this term..."
Dylan: "No way...I already know you're going to get good grades...and I think I am too. No...it has to be something more...um...risqué..." he answered slowly moving closer to her.
Morgan answered her face feeling flushed: "Risqué? Um...well...I'll have to think of something..."
Dylan laughed, "But, until then...I guess it's grovelling time..."
Morgan laughed, "So, do I need to bow down and shout your name at the top of my lungs that you are the best?"
Dylan: "Well, that would be a start!" he chuckled.
Morgan: "Oh...just wait until next time...you are going to pay for this," she said as she stood up and shouted out Dylan's name proclaiming that he was the best bowler ever. Then she sat down again.
Dylan grinned: "You know...you're rather cute when you're angry. Did anyone ever tell you that before?"
They finished their rootbeer floats and returned their bowling shoes.
Morgan: "Thanks Dylan for a fun time."
Dylan: "Yeah, I had fun, too. Maybe we could do this again sometime..."
For a moment they just stood there and gazed at each other. Dylan felt his heart pounding, and the "pull" tonight towards Morgan was strong. And that's why he had suggested rootbeer floats...because if he had ordered anything alcoholic, he might just...he might just want to remove that necklace and take his chances and kiss Morgan. But he couldn't, he was still cursed.
Dylan backed away first, "We should go..." he said quietly and Morgan smiled and nodded her head.

Notes:
Neither Morgan nor Dylan had any previous bowling skill.
But, what a bummer that the game glitched right at the end of their bowling game. There never was a final score. Towards the end, Dylan had to head to the restroom, and then he didn't get the bowling lane in his que. So maybe because of this, he somehow ended the game early. Oh well. I do have a feeling that Dylan won, though, with all the gutterballs that Morgan got!

Also, I realized I'd already given Sandy, Joe and Cale Jr. makeovers very recently, so only Cale will get one this month. My June 2nd update will have Cale's new wardrobe.

This a huge house! It has three bedrooms, each with their own en suite, plus two half baths, open floor plan for the living room area, kitchen and dining, a gym, greenhouse, an office for Cale and an art studio for Sandy, a patio with a pool, hot tub, BBQ/Bar area and a couple seating areas, plus a rather large patio garden. It takes up the entire lot! You'd never know looking at it from the front.

Yay! Imgur finally let me upload some interior screenshots! As mentioned above, these are just a few highlights. Not included; part of the front porch, a seating area on the patio, gym, dining room, Sandy's art studio, most of the bathrooms and the boys bedrooms. I might do a slideshow of everything at some point, but you'll see most of it during gameplay anyway.

(Well, things just changed with my ideas for the future month where our Challenge Sims go to Forgotten Hollow and venture into all about vampires with the new upcoming game pack being released this month. I already had something in mind, but am tweaking it a bit with the new game pack. It'll actually be more fun storywise. And can't wait to play with the new pack slightly ahead of time to prepare the story. Yes, as all the other packs, I already pre-ordered it. )
That would have been cool if there was a Chewbacca NPC. I did search for a Chewie Sim online. There was a Simmer on a website trying to create him. They were stuck at a point during some of the style coding and such and ended up giving up. Sad panda. But it was fun to see someone had at least tried. I tried to put a small Wizard of Oz spin on D.J. going to Batuu. Like you said, was he or wasn't he really there? I leave that up to the readers imagination. Cale will be in that hat for ages to come...lol! I picture him loving it. Yeah, am hoping @afai1261 enjoys the outfit I found for Aaron as well. I purposely put him in that.
Looking for Cale's adventures in DSV. He's already a celebrity to me with having 100+ babies.
The outside of that house looks like a celebrity might live there. Can't wait to see the inside.
Wow. I like the new disguised looks. Adam looks different but can still see Adam in there. Nice job. Clever on the new names as well. I see what you did there. I'm not surprised Carlie (Carol) was all gitty about meeting celebrities. Glad it showed not all celebrities like to be hounded for autographs. Also shocked Andrew (Adam) didn't turn Jaiden into something with his spellcaster abilities.
It was my first day as an official yoga instructor, so I showed up early and took a quick selfie to show Carol and Kaori later.
My first class was at nine, and the spa owner must have advertised the class because I was able to easily draw in five students!
It could have been a full class if it weren't for Judith Ward's paparazzi taking up space. You'd think a fancy spa like this would have better security, but maybe they see it as free advertising.
After class, Judith Ward came up and congratulated me on getting the job, stating that she would be a regular now that they'd finally gotten a decent instructor.
I blushed.
I thanked her for helping me get the job, and told her I was available if she ever needed a private instructor.
One of the ladies who had been in my class introduced herself as Kayla and asked if she could get a picture with me, but I declined.
It's truly amazing, get to know one 5 star celebrity and suddenly everyone thinks you're famous.
My next class was a guided meditation at one, so I pulled out the meditation stools and placed them in between the mats.
I was once again able to draw in five students, but the class ended up being anything but relaxing.
As soon as I began the session, one of my students got up and started to talk to themselves in the mirror. If that wasn't distracting enough, a photographer entered the room and placed herself right in front of me, bending over so all I could see was her backside. Yeesh!
I wrapped up the session soon after, and determined to ask the owner if we could get a bouncer to keep out the paparazzi from now on. This was getting ridiculous!
I had one more yoga class at four, and I was finally able to draw in a full class!
This time everything went fairly smoothly, and I managed to ignore the paparazzi who continued to insist on standing around in awkward places.
As I was cleaning up after class, Brytani Cho, a fairly well known comedian who had been a part of my yoga class, decided to start cheering and jumping around. Either she really liked the class, or she was trying to be funny. Which it was remains to be seen.
Back at home, I found Carol and Kaori by the pool along with Gideon and Arielle.
I went and sat by Kaori in one of the loungers and watched as the girls raced each other around the pool.
Carol even got to show off some of the dives she'd practiced over the summer.
I noticed another sim had joined us and was climbing up the diving platform.
Jaiden!
I sat up as he got ready to dive but ended up laughing when all he could manage was a belly flop.
Ouch.
He started to splash Carol and I noticed they were giggling and perhaps getting a little too friendly, so I did the only thing a sane father could do.
Cannonball!
It worked.
Carol started splashing me back and we had our own water war which ended with me suggesting we get out and work on her homework before bed.
I made a Caesar salad for dinner and helped Carol with her homework while telling her and Kaori about my first day of work.
Carol was very impressed with all the celebrities I'd met and asked if she could come with me on Saturday. I told her all she had to do was dress up like the paparazzi and she could probably stand at the front of the class with me. She laughed and said she'd have to dust off her camera.
D.J. looked at his watch and it was after midnight. Aldo and Aaron had already grabbed Dylan who was still passed out. As they were leaving the Laboratory, sirens were going off. D.J. looks up and there is a mysterious cloud formation above the Lab. Dragging Dylan, the team quickly make their way back to the military base. Because of the sirens, no one was asleep in the barracks. Aldo and Aaron laid Dylan down on one of the beds.
"What happened out there?" Bryon asks.
"I don't know." D.J. replies. "We investigated the Lab like the night before. We were able to access the basement of the Lab. We encountered an area that looked a bit dangerous and Dylan here walks in it. Next thing, he passes out in front of us. We decided to bring him back here and heard the sirens going off as well as there is some type of cloud above the Laboratory. It looks like the type of cloud after a place has been nuked."
"You must have activated something."
"Something NOT good." D.J. adds.
D.J., Aldo, and Aaron strip out of their gear. They also remove Dylan's. They got lucky as not soon after, Grand Marshal Reece enters the barracks.
"We've got a situation men!" Reece exclaims. "Someone broke into the Laboratory. There were dangerous chemicals in there and this idiot released them. We were told they should be harmless if you notice little spores floating around."
Reece notices Dylan still sleeping.
"How is he sleeping through the sirens?" Reece asks and wonders. "This awful noise would wake anyone up. He's a lucky boy."
D.J. knew there was more to it than what his Grand Marshal was saying. He remembers what Erwin had given him before and nonchalantly goes to grab it from his trunk. D.J. walks up to Reece and goes in for a hug.
"Thank you for trying to keep us safe, sir!" D.J. says while skillfully planting the bug behind Reece's collar on his uniform jacket.
"Oh, you're a hugger." Reece says annoyingly and pulls away. "I don't like huggers. Don't ever do that again!"
That afternoon when D.J. notices Reece enter the town's library, now turned into an Information Center, he goes into the military base headquarters. There he listens in on Grand Marshal Reece's conversation.
"Have we figured out a way to kill that thing?" Reece could be heard.
"No, sir." A voice answers. "We were able to contain everything inside after the conspiracy theorists made their way out. We still haven't found all of them yet, either. They were in disguises. But now that someone opened the containment doors as well as an entry door, whatever virus we sealed up is out there. Luckily the spores floating around are harmless. But if the mist from the clouds fills the air, we're all going to be infected and turned into zombies."
"But what about that plant thing inside? How do we kill it? Killing it may solve all our problems."
"We've tried weapons, lasers, poison. Nothing is working. It just keeps growing whatever we throw at it."
"I think it's time we need to do the inevitable. We might have to destroy the town. If we bury the town, that could bury that thing. We'll call a meeting with the higher ups in command and begin evacuating them in about a week or so if we can't figure this out. Everyone else will have to be a casualty of war. Keep this between us. We don't want to panic the other military personel or scientists who won't be coming with us."
"Yes, sir!"
D.J. couldn't believe what he just heard. That evening he shares with his team what he had listened to.
"We have to find a way into the Information Center in the library." D.J. says. "And we have to do it fast. There's got to be a scientist in there we can trust."
"I know how we can get in." Cale responds.

I wanted to use assets from Get Famous and tried to have at least one in each outfit. For casual - Top, Formal - Shoes, Athletic - Pants, Party - Pants, Hot - Shoes and Cold - Top & Pants. Cale also has two new traits; Active and Self-Assured. I also gave him a new hairstyle as I'm sure you've noticed. I'm not sure if I like it though. What do y'all think? Does it suit him? I'll probably look for another CC hairstyle for him, and maybe a different beard. However, I did recolor his beard to match his hair, it was too dark before.
I intended to give Sandy, Joe L. and Cale Jr. makeovers too, but realized I'd given them one very recently, so they won't get one this month. This will be it for today's update since I'm extremely frustrated with Imgur at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow's post will go much smoother than yesterday's and today.
By the way, who's excited for the new game pack, Werewolves? I am! YES! Feel free to replace any month you would like for this pack if you purchase it. I probably will, but not sure which world I'll replace yet.

I used the day for D.J. to Collect 15 Spore Clusters as intended by the Aspiration as well as work on his career. He's been promoted a couple times, but not using it as part of the story. Again, not very exciting or something to add to the story. So instead, here's some backside eye candy of the Challenge Sims who are active as of right now in this thread.
Yes, it'll be interesting what happens if/when Cale meets any of his baby Mamas and/or the offspring themselves. o.O Yes, Fox genuinely wants to try to make up for what happened to Cale and yes, we most likely have not seen the last of Eros either.
Love that you had two outcomes like that for the ID card. Would've been interesting to see DJ fight Hondo, but I like how it turned out showing the rascal's compassionate side.
Oooo, some beefcake for our enjoyment! Very cool! So, which team ultimately won? So funny how they all went and took shots together at the end like that. Oh yeah, Aaron's face is priceless! hehe
Oh, clever idea having Dylan steal the key card! Love how you use other Simmers lore in your challenge. Oh bummer Dylan walked into the mist. o.O Did he get temporarily possessed? That's what usually happens, Sims pass out and when they wake up, they're possessed. Of course, for your story perhaps you didn't want to show that part and imply that Dylan just passed out. Either way, still loving their outfits and I love that Cale hung back to check out Erwin's additional wares. hehe
Aww, well at least someone tried to make Chewie! Maybe with the new game pack someone will be able to finally make him eh? That would be very cool. Yes, I can see Cale loving that hat! I should've had him wear the one Erwin gave them for free when they bought the hazmat suits from him. hehe Love how Erwin liked Cale in your challenge like he did in mine. Made me smile! Yes, that house is literally called Get Famous Mid Century Modern, and I think it was made for that lot it's on now. The driveway matches up to it almost perfectly.

Whatever you decide to do is cool, you're very busy and stressed, don't want the challenge to stress you out too! o.O However, WOW! Look at Aaron, what a hottie! He looks fan freakintastic! Congrats to Aaron for completing the Renaissance and Fabulously Wealthy aspirations! Go Aaron! Look at all those traits and skills! Yep, he's well on his way to being a Super Sim! Love the shots of him fishing and woodworking! Yeah, building a rocket always slows me down for the Nerd Brain aspiration. It's worth it though when you have time and resources to do it. Love the Instant Upgrade and Insta-Repair rewards they get with that!

May 29 - Nice that Adam has the ability to make some income at the spa doing yoga and meditation. And he is really getting his painting skill up by copying those paintings at the spa.
May 30 - Love the Daily Shot. It looks so nice Well, at least part of the day was sunny and they got to do a lot of activities on their last day at Granite Falls. So, Del Sol Valley here they come to lead yoga for the rich and famous. Yes, Adam is right, Del Sol Valley is too sunny for vamps! lol
May 31 - I got a good laugh out of Adam being a blonde, with new glasses, too. Yes, putting on a disguise, just like Dylan has to as he changes worlds. Oh, and new names, too! At least you kept the first initials of their old names. And Kaori and Carol get a make-over, too. No...no-one will ever notice them with green or blue hair. lol Adam looks great in the first look with that jacket and hat. Love it! I like how they are not moving into some super rich place in Del Sol Valley, since while they were in Granite Falls, Kaori was concerned about their funds. So, yes, this seems perfect, a trailer park with a pool. And they meet some of the neighbors, and Jaiden makes a move on Kaori right in front of Adam! Oh gee! Adam speaks up to Jaiden and has a jealous moment, but Kaori smoothes things out later and gives him a rather nice kiss. They they go downtown to check out the spa. Adam holds a yoga class on the grass and Judith Ward attends and then gives Adam the spa owner's name and number and tells Adam to tell the owner that Judith recommends Adam. Nice! And Carol gets her autograph. Woot!
June 1 - It's hard for me to get used to Adam with the blonde hair...and now he has a tan, too. He is living the Del Sol life! Nice that Adam got the yoga instructor job and now Kaori also got a teaching job. And they meet more the neighbors. I love the idea of a community garden. And a nice date with Kaori - did you build that addition on top of the museum? Oh...and here is Carol alone with Jaiden in the pool after dark! ohhhhhh!
June 2 - Oh yes, the paparazzi and the celebs...hard to do a yoga class with them around. And then home to pool fun. Love how Adam intervened with Jaiden and Carol. Talk about an overprotective father, right? But I guess he knows how Jaiden is and doesn't want his daughter to be taken advantage of.
Adult - Selvadorada July - Day 21 First thing the next morning, Naoki and I went to the Puerto Llamante Marketplace. We were able to taste local food and buy some equipment for our hike, which was awesome (well, for the most part). I mean, we found a lost temple with traps and everything, and for some magical reason I only got burned a little bit! We’re definitely going back tomorrow.
(Bryon) "Good morning, sunshine. I thought you were gonna sleep in the bed??"
(Naoki) "I tried, but I really can't sleep alone anymore, so I decided to join you anyways."
(Bryon) "Naw, that's sweet."
(Naoki) "So, you wanna go to the marketplace to grab some breakfast? I'm starving!"
(Bryon) "Sure, I'm also kinda hungry, now that you're talking about food."
Once we arrived at the marketplace, we squished ourselves in between all the other Sims standing there (this stall sure is popular!) and managed to order something.
(Bryon) "Oh yes, this is good."
(Bryon) "Argh, don't ruin my beautiful breakfast, flies!"
(Naoki) "Adorable."
A bit further, I saw some Sims standing next to what looked like adventure equipment, so I asked someone standing there if those were for sale.
(Woman) "They sure are, my friend! Are you going into the jungle? I can recommend this machette!"
(Bryon) "Thank you. Is it okay if I look for a moment?"
(Woman) "Sure thing!"
I bought some equipment, thanked the lady and then looked over to Naoki.
(Bryon) "Naoki, are you ready??"
(Naoki) "Oh, yes. Sure am! I'm sorry guys. Was nice talking to you. Thanks for telling me about the jungle!"
Right before actually leaving, we made a stop in front of this statue cause we had to for the aspiration, heh. Okay, let's start this hike!
(Naoki) "Okay, let's read this board for a mo-"
(Bryon) "Ah, this is why that seller recommended me a machete."
(Bryon) "Let's get right into it!"
(Naoki) "Bryon, what are you doing?? Don't just do stuff without reading the guidelines!!"
(Bryon) "Oh. Too late, I already made an opening. I'm going in!"
(Naoki) "Bryon--"
(Naoki) ".... Wait."
(Naoki) "Since when is Bryon so.. Enthusiastic about this adventurous stuff? Ah well, better go after him fast."
(Naoki) "God, Bryon, there you are. I almost thought I'd lost you."
(Bryon) "It's beautiful here, Naoki."
(Naoki) "It sure is. Now, if you please don't run off like an idiot again?"
(Bryon) "Yeah, okay. Sorry about that. I'm just really enjoying this."
(Naoki) "I can see that."
So, we continued our hike without losing each other out our sight.
(Naoki) "Ill do this one!"
(Bryon) "Sure. Doing that earlier was pretty exhausting, actually, so I'm glad I don't have to do that again now."
Naoki looked awesome. I guess I'm falling in love again, with my own husband.
We continued our hike until suddenly we found an old building. A bit further there was another locked path.
(Naoki) "If you want, you can go explore that hidden path. I'll try to break this open here."
(Bryon) "Good idea!"
Well, let me tell you. Opening that hidden path wasnt a good idea AT ALL.
(Bryon) "Naokiiiiii!!!!"
(Naoki) "Bryon! I opened it! Bryo-- What on the earth happened to you?!"
We walked inside and as I was talking about what happened at the hidden path, we bumped into water.
(Bryon) "Water! Just what I need!"
I threw my clothes off, jumped in the water and swam.
(Bryon) "Hey, looks like this is an actual lane to follow."
(Naoki) "Really?"
And so, Naoki jumped in too, following me as I followed the lane of the river.
(Naoki) "Wow, can't believe we actually ended up in some kind of room..."
(Bryon) "Awesome, right??!"
(Naoki) "What is this even?"
Of course, the nerd that I am, I started taking notes.
(Naoki) "There's also another device in the room next door."
(Bryon) "Oh, really??"
(Bryon) "Have to check that out too!"
(Naoki) "Haha, of course you do."
(Bryon) "Hmm... What's this?"
(Naoki) "I don't think you should-"
(Naoki) "-Touch that..."
(Bryon) "Ah, I'm on fire!! Its actual fire!!"
Luckily Naoki was prepared. He snatched the fire extinguisher from the wall and blushed the fire.
(Bryon) "Hehe. I'm sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. But thanks for saving me there."
(Naoki) "You're kidding me, right? If you keep doing these impulsive things, this trip is gonna be your--"
(Naoki) "-- Death... Please don't die on me. Stop doing this!"
(Bryon) "Ahh!"
(Bryon) "Oof, that scared me. I'm fine, Naoki!"
(Naoki) "Mhm. I can see that. But for how long?"
I totally ignored Naoki and threw another offer in another bowl. Suddenly it lit up bright blue/white.
(Bryon) "Ha, this looks good, doesnt it???"
Slowly, the fire disappeared.
(Naoki) "Maybe we should head back to our lodge for today. It's getting dark. We can come back tomorrow, using your teleport spell."
(Bryon) "Whoa, I only now realised that I'm a Spellcaster! I should--"
(Naoki) "No Bryon, you're not gonna cast any spells in this temple. Well, besides poofing us back."
(Bryon) "Naw, you're no fun, but okay, I won't use any spells in the temple, besides the teleport spell. Too bad I can't teleport to places I've never seen or I'd be poofing myself through this entire temple."
(Naoki) "I know you would, haha. Okay, let's come back tomorrow!"
Finally was able to take a shower at our lodge and take all that grime off of me.
And then, back to the tent, cause we still have another aspiration to finish too.
June - Day 3:"Never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction..."

I found a Maxis Match CC hair very similar to the first one I gave Cale, but this one is a bit longer and messier. I think it looks good on him. It's called Daryl by Simstrouble if anyone is interested. His beard is different too, it's N48 by Praline. Use the lightest brown swatch just before the red shades. It's the closest one to his hair color.
After Cale, Fox, Venus and Aurora defeated the Mother, life changed in a hurry for Cale. Despite his belief they were all heroes, as far as the town and the world was concerned, Cale was the Hero of StrangerVille. A few weeks later, he was approached by a talent agency with the promise of eventually starring in a movie about his life. However, he would need to learn how to act first. There was also the matter of finding a place to live in Del Sol Valley so he would be near the studios there to try out and act in gigs found by his new agency for him.
Between the funds Cale had saved from his Plant Biologist career, earnings from the flower arrangements he'd sold on Plopsy, and profits from his garden, Cale was able to feel comfortable in renting a rather large home for his family. It was for sale and Fox offered to buy it for him, but Cale's pride wouldn't let him do that. Perhaps one day, if they stayed in DSV, Cale would be able to buy it himself. He wasn't sure if he would like the celebrity life or if it was a good place to raise his kids either, so for now, they would rent.
They had moved and lived in the new rental for only a few days when Cale got a call from the agency with his very first gig. The Script Supervisor would send over his lines to practice within the hour.
(Wow, things sure happen fast in this town!)
(Hmm, well this looks easy enough. I just have to play some kind of wild animal in a forest and play the guitar. I can do that.)
Cale got to work right away practicing his lines in the mirror located in their bedroom.
Meanwhile, Sandy was in her art studio/office painting. She kept her painting career and is working on the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration.
Joe is in his room practicing casting spells with the wand his Father gave him as a child. He's working on the Spellcraft and Sorcery aspiration and hopes to be a powerful Spellcaster like his parents and his namesake, L. Realistically he knows he'll never be as good as L. since she's a Sage, but a guy can dream, right?
Cale Jr. is taking a break from experimenting and crafting chemical potions to play some Simscuffle.
It's been quite awhile since Cale picked up his guitar to play. He felt a bit rusty at first when he took it outside on the patio to practice.
But, it wasn't long before his fingers were flying smoothly over the strings picking out melodies from his youth and the songs he had written himself.
Finished painting, Sandy was having leftover chicken dinner. Amazing it's still good after all this time eh?
Joe learned the Inferniate spell while practicing, which he thought was kind of cool. Though he wasn't sure in what instance he'd ever need to use it. This weekend he hoped to go to the Magic Realm. It had been awhile and he missed it. Right now though, he had homework to do.
Cale Jr. was doing the same thing in his room. He wanted to get good grades so he could go to Uni and be a scientist, just like his Dad.
Both boys were hungry by now, but Sandy had eaten the last plate of food in the fridge. It was about time Joe learned how to cook, so he tried his hand at making a big salad for everyone to share instead of bothering Mom or Dad to make something to eat. Cale Jr. rummaged around and found stuff to make a PB&J sandwich instead. Salad was for bunnies in his opinion.
Sandy was in a happy mood and felt like turning on the retro HiFi for some dance music.
Cale could see her dancing from his spot on the patio and was enjoying watching her moves. It put him in a flirty mood, remembering the night he'd seduced her and their first time together. He went inside to give her a delicious kiss and then took her into his arms for a slow dance.
She was so beautiful, he looked at her with love in his eyes and saw the same reflected in her own. She smiled at him, remembering that night too as they slowly swayed together to the beat of a ballad.
Finished with their meals, the boys sat together having a chat while trying to ignore their parents lovey dovey ways. Inside they both were secretly happy their parents loved each other so much. Some of their classmates weren't so lucky.
Cale Jr. was making goofy faces and telling jokes making Joe laugh at his silly little brother.
"What did the monster say after he picked his nose?"
"I don't know, what?"
"BOOGA BOOGA RAWRRRRR!"
This is the first time I've ever had any of my Sims try the slow dance animation that came in the MWS patch. I think they did a good job with it myself. Reminds me of some of the CC poses I used.
Cale is really strong eh? He's holding her like that with just his fingertips! o.O
The boys went to bed, followed by Cale and Sandy retiring to their bedroom. Neither one was very tired at the moment though.
They had other things on their mind after dancing together made them recall the sweet memories of Love Day a few years ago, the night Cale Jr. was conceived. Would tonight have the same results? Only the Watcher knows for sure...

Today's Accomplishments: World Famous Celebrity
- Visit a celebrity hot spot
As Kaori currently had Fridays off, she asked if she could join me at the spa today. When we arrived at the front doors, I noticed there was now a bouncer with a velvet rope stretched out in front of the door.
I guess the spa owner took my advice to heart. I showed the bouncer my spa ID and told him Kaori was with me and he let us pass.
While I was holding my classes, Kaori took the opportunity to enjoy the spa's indoor hot-spring.
After my meditation class, we went up to the roof top pool and caught some rays to freshen up our tans.
After work, we picked Carol up from school and went to check out a new club that was suppose to be one of the hottest spots in town.
We were some of the first sims there, so we took over the dance floor and let loose!
Soon enough other sims came strolling in, including Judith Ward, who seems to be everywhere these days. She stole the spotlight and had a crowd of fans surrounding her at all times.
Judith wasn't the only sim we knew there. Jaiden and Mallory from our trailer park also showed up and joined us on the dance floor.
Jaiden was acting like hot stuff, so I challenged him to a dance off.
I began and pulled out one of the best moves I'd learned in Windenburg. With a leap I twisted in the air and landed back on my feet in a perfect back-flip.
Even Jaiden seemed impressed.
To try and top my performance, Jaiden pulled out some light batons and twirled them around above his head.
I have to admit he was pretty good. We ended up calling it a draw and shook hands on it.
I started thinking I might have misjudged Jaiden, but then he went and immediately started flirting with someone else's date.
To be honest, I like Cale with some type of wavy hair rather than slicked back.
Regarding the werewolves pack, I am excited too. I don't want to go into much details, but I'll be combining it with my vampires month. Not going to worry about the Aspiration that comes with it. But I'll use both Forgotten Hollow and the new World for that month. HOWEVER, if the Aspiration does interest me, then I'll just switch the Aspiration from vampire to werewolf...but still have the month focus with vampires as well.
I'm a little confused what you mean by wavy rather than slicked back. Yes, the hairstyle I chose for Cale mostly doesn't hang in his face like the others, but it is wavy. I wouldn't call it slicked back either, it's looser, messy and has strands not slicked down everywhere. My head canon says Cale has grown/matured now and doesn't feel so self-conscious of his scar so would want a hairstyle that shows his face more. He's not trying to hide from his step-Dad anymore either. Which, might be a bit foolhardy, but meh. I love long hair on guys and have been dying to give Cale a longer style too, so there is that. Ah well, everyone has their own tastes and opinions. That's a good thing!
Anyway, very curious to find out how your idea with vampires/werewolves pans out. I'm waiting until I know what the aspiration(s) involve too before I decide whether or not I'll replace a world with the new one for Cale. If I do go for it, I'm thinking either Evergreen Harbor or Brindleton Bay. I'd originally thought Brindleton Bay, but he'll be an adult by then and I'd rather he were a YA when a werewolf. The only problem with that is I love the Eco pack aspirations and it follows right after Forgotten Hollow. I'd need to come up with a good reason why he'd go from being a vampire to a werewolf when the two occults are rivals. hehe Eh, we shall see how it goes.
I wish there could be some type of competition with the basketball hoops. Unfortunately, I just had them 'shoot hoops' and some of the other interactions you can do with the hoops and other Sims. No real competition. Yes. Dylan did become possessed after traveling back to the military base lot. As soon as he stood up at the secret lab, I made them all travel back. He was fine and then became in the possessed state for maybe 30 in-game minutes. I'm hoping he becomes possessed again later before I do the vaccine portion of the story. I purposely had Cale hang out at the end with Erwin since they got to talking to each other autonomously. I decided I'd use that piece later as well.
I still await the interior of the home of Cale and family. I enjoy seeing your remodeling. Always fun.
I agree. The messier hair looks better. I did see your other comment, but I'll reply to that separately. Aww. Cale Jr is going to be a comedic scientist...lol! Wait to Joe can learn to summon food with his wand. He won't have to learn how to cook. Yay, finally get to see a lot of the interior now. Looking pretty spiffy.
The first image you showed with Cale's new hairstyle. It looks as though his hair is all combed back, slick style. Not sure how the other angles really look. But then you changed it up slightly to show it still swept back, but a little messier...which looks more Cale. I don't mind long hair on guys. Have plenty of male friends with long hair. It suits them. Just seeing Cale for so long in wavy-ish hair, the next style didn't feel right in my own humble opinion. But then you found something that worked. So, it's win in my book. I do like that one.
I'm so happy EA/Maxis finally brought werewolves into the game. Vampires and Werewolves need to go together. Longtime enemies. That's all I'll say in regard to how I am going to be putting it together in my story. I'll use both Forgotten Hollow and the new World together for that month. Forgotten Hollow will be the main World. I'll be using @afai1261 's Aaron and Hunter as major roles.

Sandy and Cale's schedule is a bit off from the boys. They'd been up for awhile with Sandy painting and Cale practicing acting. The boys left for school and it was 'lunch' time for their parents. Fridge was empty again so Sandy made more salad.
Cale continued to practice acting on his new 'acting enhanced' mirror until it was almost time to head out for his first audition. He took the time to psych himself up first to help his confidence.

Part of the aspiration calls for giving a street performance. Luckily Cale had reached a level in acting that allowed him to do a musical selection. I don't know who he's calling out to, there's nobody around! Ah well...

First part was a dance routine. Pfft, you've got this in the bag Cale. Of course he can dance, he's a pro at it. The Dude had his own dance club and maxed out the skill a long time ago. Go Cale!

Uh, well, he's not the best singer though. At least not yet. He tried hard though. By the way, notice that shadow on the right? He had an audience of one, but they were invisible! o.O

Oh! Okay, well that's weird, it was a vampire! One of Cale's baby Mamas, Saya Okado, who gave him twin sons. Must be she didn't want him to know she was watching? Or something...
The boys would be home from school soon, so Cale ran inside to see if Sandy wanted to have some fun before they arrived. Of course she did.
I don't know what happened after the fireworks, but all of a sudden everything went black. Maybe all those sparks shorted out the wiring? hehe
By this time the boys were home and doing their homework together while their parents went to get some sleep. I don't know what Cale Jr. said to Joe, but it had a shocking affect on him. Oh wait, I bet it was about the naughty drawing the teacher found in his desk at school.
"Mom and Dad find out and you're grounded."
*blows raspberry* "I don't care, it wasn't that bad. Not MY fault she's got big bazookas."
"You didn't need to draw them though. Not cool squirt!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"You shouldn't disrespect your teacher like that. She's a nice lady. I had her for your grade too."

Cale Jr. needed to play three games of chess, so he asked Joe to play with him. I don't think Joe expected his little brother would beat him! Look at that face! hehe
The boys went to bed and Cale and Sandy got up. I think it might've been a mistake upgrading their bed. Oh well, I finally figured out what was wrong with the lighting too. Kind of embarrassing actually. They hadn't paid their bills! o.O I noticed when I tried to turn the lights on and got a message about it. D'oh!
Cale is taking a break from a long acting practice session to have some fun. I don't know why acting isn't fun for him. Maybe it will be after he has more skill later on.
After awhile, the boys got up and left for school. Cale is once again playing SimScuffle. Sandy's still hard at work painting. She needs one more skill level and one more Masterpiece to finish the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. I was SO happy to see this painting on her easel. It's a bit rare and one of my absolute favorite paintings!
Since I was checking on Sandy's aspiration, I took a look at Cale's tasks for his gig tomorrow. I thought all he needed was Level 3 guitar, but it updated. He needs to research how to be playful and be funny with others. Best way to get playful is a bubble bath in my experience.

Perfect timing! The boys are home from school so Cale quickly dried off and ran outside to tell them some jokes.

Cale Jr. doesn't look too impressed. Is he upset Daddy stole his joke, well, part of it anyway? Uh oh...
Nope, it's all good, both boys broke out into laughter finding their Dad acting so silly hilarious.

"Oh man, Dad, I can't believe you did that!" *snicker*
"Got any more jokes Daddy?"
"Oh yeah, I got a million of them Son. Okay, tell me if you've heard this one..."
Needless to say, Cale is all set for his gig tomorrow. Well, I think he should practice singing though.
*Updated my June 4th post above! I think I've finally figured out what's the problem with Imgur, or anytime I try to upload anything anywhere and it's been so slow to non-existent. Our router is on Hubby's desk and he's been keeping his cell near it where it blocks the router signal to my computer. I had no idea cell phones could interfere with that until I did some research to figure out what the heck is going on!
His upload speed has been fine so I knew it had to be something with my computer. Cross your fingers that was the problem! It's so, SO frustrating to have an update all ready to go, but can't post it. I apologize for complaining about this so much, especially if the solution was something as simple as what I suspect. You've probably noticed I haven't written much 'story' yet either. If my upload issue is fixed, that'll change. I've just been so stressed out about it, I haven't felt like writing much after struggling to upload my screenshots.
Anyway, I'll get started on comments/replies next. I hope y'all had a wonderful day/night!

Kaori had been making some phone calls and told us she'd possibly found us a place in a trailer park that had recently opened, so we went to check it out.
There were four trailers in the park, three of which were already being rented. Also included was a communal pool in the center of the complex as well as a community center with ping-pong and game tables available to use.
Kaori led us up to one of the trailers and told us this one could be ours if we wanted it.
"It comes fully furnished and even has a murphy bed that Carol can use," she said leading us inside.
I quickly looked around at the three roomed trailer which was small but clean.
"I like it," I said giving Kaori a kiss "Good find honey."
"Should I call the realtor back and tell them we'll take it then?" she said smiling.
I nodded and she walked out to the pool to make the phone call.
Once Kaori confirmed that the place was ours, we put on our suits and joined her at the pool.
Soon we were joined by an occupant of one of the other trailers, a man who introduced himself as Jaiden Garcia.
We sat and chatted for awhile before an older man, a Gideon Grant, also came out to find out who we were.
It was getting a little crowded in the pool, so we invited everyone over to our new patio to chat.
Everything was going great when Jaiden suddenly turned to Kaori and told her he was madly in love with her. I was filled with a rage I'd only felt a few times in my life, and quickly told him in no uncertain terms that Kaori and I were married.
He nodded but continued to look over and Kaori longingly, so I removed myself from the patio before I did something I might regret.
Kaori soon joined me inside and took my hands in hers.
"Adam," she said tenderly, "what's wrong."
"I don't like the way he looks at you," I said glancing out the window to where Jaiden sat chatting with Carol. "And I especially don't like that he was willing to flirt with you right in front of me."
Kaori smiled, "I appreciate your protectiveness Adam," she said, "but I'm not interested in Jaiden and I've already told him so." She leaned in a gave me a kiss. "You're my one and only love and a good looking guy isn't going to change that."
I kissed her back and suddenly felt a little embarrassed over my overreaction.
"Do you want to get out of here and go check out the spa downtown?" Kaori asked.
I smiled, feeling the tension leaving my shoulders, "You know me too well," I grinned.
We grabbed Carol and soon found ourselves standing in front of a very fancy looking spa.
Almost right away Carol spotted Thorne Bailey, a famous musician, and ran up and asked him for his autograph. He looked annoyed and turned her down, but Carol still ran over and squealed about the encounter.
I was able to find the yoga room quickly enough, but there didn't seem to be a yoga instructor currently working there. Maybe that was good news?
I took the opportunity of being alone with Carol to tell her I didn't want her hanging out with Jaiden unless someone else was nearby.
She gave me a weird look but agreed to not go anywhere alone with him.
After touring the whole spa, we left and wandered around the downtown area, taking in the sights. We came upon a park with a stage presumably used for small concerts, and I noticed that the open grassy space in front of the stage would be the perfect place to hold a yoga class!
Good thing a bring my mat everywhere I go!
I set up and soon had an eager crowd surrounding me, including Judith Ward!
We had an amazing session, and Judith herself even gave me a tip and complimented me on my class!
I told her I wanted to start teaching classes at the spa, and she gave me the spa owner's number and told me to let them know I came with her recommendation!
Carol couldn't contain herself anymore, and asked if she could have Judith's autograph, which she graciously gave to her.
Carol was thrilled!
As the sun began to set, we said out goodbyes and headed back to our new home.
New Looks
Adam has completed 9 aspirations so far, and maxed out 12 skills.
My plans for this month are to complete the World Famous Celebrity and Self-Care Specialist aspirations before heading to Selvadorada for the rest of the month. I'm going to skip the Actor aspiration, as it doesn't really fit with Adam's story or personality.
Notes
This is the house Cale and his family will live in once I'm finished remodeling it. It won't be on this lot for one thing. The outside will most likely look pretty much the same, but the inside needed quite a few changes. "Welcome back, boys!" Erwin states. Looking over at Cale, "How's the alien disruptor helmet?"
"No aliens in my head!" Cale exclaims tapping the colander on his head.
"So..." D.J. interjects staring at Erwin. "Last time, you said you had more stuff. Stuff you took from officials. Any chance I can take a look at some of it?"
Erwin nervously looks at D.J. "Uh...I don't think I did. You must have misheard me or something."
Erwin turns around to see Dylan rummaging through some of the wares in the little shack.
"What are you doing?" Erwin asks Dylan. "You can't be back here."
"Oh, sorry. My bad. I was looking at all the neat things in here for sale."
Erwin again says, "You can't be back here. If you want to buy something, you need to go to the other side."
"Okay, okay!" Dylan says as he puts his hands up and backs away.
"C'mon Erwin!" D.J. says. "You know or have more information than you're leading on here. I'll be up front and honest with you, but you need to be in return. We're actually part of the military stationed here. We all got drafted. We don't want to be here. We're just looking for a way for us to get out. The sooner the better."
"I really do think it's aliens." Erwins sighs. "Look at all them weird looking plants. And we were able to get into the building. Some officers and scientists looked like they were dead. We weren't sure. We only took some of their clothing. I swear. We were shuffling through papers and folders trying to figure out what was going on in the building. There was this loud screeching noise and we got the !#$% out. We haven't been there since."
"I hope you're telling me everything, Erwin. I would hate to have to bring my superiors into this!"
"That's all I know! You'll excuse me now if you're not going to buy anything!"
D.J. shrugs and looks over at the other three.
"Let's go." D.J. says.
"I'll catch up with you guys in a moment. I want to see what else he's got for sale from what he said." Cale replies raising an eyebrow.
As D.J., Aaron, and Dylan start to walk back towards the base, Cale is seen discussing with Erwin about some other merchandise.
D.J. stops to take a picture of the purplish looking pod plant that Erwin mentioned were all around town. Again, D.J. wondered why he never paid attention to something like this earlier. After he takes a few snapshots from his phone, he notices he has a couple missed calls and texts from Paige. She must be worried sick, he thought to himself. He would reach out to her later that evening.
When it comes to lunchtime, Dylan sits down next to D.J.
"Hey, Dylan!" D.J. says with a smile.
"I think I might have something to help you. You were discussing with us yesterday about a door that might need some type of ID card or keycard to enter."
Dylan takes out a plastic card from his pocket with the Laboratory name printed on it.
"Where did you get that?" D.J. asks Dylan.
Dylan quietly answers, "Growing up as a teen, I had to learn to live on my own. My parents were killed because of me. I have something someone wants. It's not this. Anyway, I've learned I had to take what I needed. I'm not proud of stealing. A lot of stuff I've returned to their owner when I was done using it if it was returnable. Earlier today when you were talking to that guy...Erwin...I think you called him, I was sifting through his shop wares and saw this. I was able to pocket it before he saw me and pushed me out."
"This is a big help. Thank you, Dylan."
"My only request in giving this to you is you let me join you when you go there...please."
"Of course. I'm sorry about your parents. Makes me sad I ran away when I was a teenager now. The two always fought and I got tired of it. I guess I should cherish the moments with them. We'll move out when it gets dark. I'll keep you informed."
Dylan hands D.J. the plastic card for which he pockets it himself.
Before heading out, D.J. texts Paige back messaging her:
As darkness took to the sky, D.J., Aldo, Aaron, and Dylan made their way to the Laboratory. The four entered through the back again. D.J now wonders if Erwin and friends were the ones who ransacked the different rooms.
D.J. takes out the plastic card that Dylan gave him. Pressing it up to the control panel, the mechanical door slides open. A handful of small floating spores exit from the other side of the door. Aaron is amazed at the beautiful colors of them.
Beyond the mechanical doors were stairs leading downward. Behind the stairs was a corridor. Within the corridor was a bluish mist along with more of the floating spores. Not only was Aaron in amazement, but so was Dylan this time. He gazed in awe...
...and without thinking stepped through the corridor and into the mist. Dylan begins to start coughing hard.
Dylan immediately turns around and walks out.
"Are you alright?" D.J. asks Dylan. "Why did you walk through that?"
"I feel fine. Too much coughing I needed to get out." Dylan replied. "It looked so colorful, I wanted a closer look."
"Don't do that again. We don't know what that mist is. Or anything about these floating spores. We need to be careful!"
Then Dylan collapses and passes out on the floor.

Carol was off to her first day of school, so I gave her a hug and wished her luck.
I took some of the crystals I'd collected and sent them off in the mail to find out what they were made of, and I actually received some element samples back just a few hours later!
Talk about service!
Kaori came out and told me she'd been able to find a job as a professor at a local school, and asked if she could practice her first lecture on me.
The good news is she has until tomorrow to perfect it.
Speaking of jobs, I pulled out my phone and called the number Judith had given me the day before.
The Spa owner seemed impressed with my connections, and offered me a job on the spot!
I start tomorrow!
I went to go share the good news with Kaori, and found her in the community garden talking to Gideon and his wife Madeleine.
I introduced myself, and we chatted about their lives as well the local sights.
I found out Gideon was employed as a gardener for the rich and famous and still worked part time for the love of his work. Madeleine was a retired Civil Designer, and sold her knitting and cross-stitching on Plopsy.
"If you ever want to take your charming wife somewhere special," Madeleine whispered conspiratorially, "try the rooftop gardens at our local museum. They boast quite the view of the area, and are a good place to be alone with the one you love."
I thanked her, and when they made their leave, I asked Kaori if she'd like to go on a date.
The museum was a gorgeous building, and when we found the rooftop gardens, the views where just as spectacular as Madeleine had promised.
We snuggled up together on one of the couches and enjoyed each other's company.
That is until a random guy came up and passed out in front of us.
We took our leave after that.
Back at home, Carol had already returned from school, so I helped her out with her homework.
When we finished, Carol went out to enjoy the evening and ran into the little girl who lives next door.
I think they found a connection through their mutual passion for the color pink
I came outside just as the girl's mom joined them, and we made our introductions.
The mom's name was Mallory Fay and her daughter was Arielle. She currently worked in social media and hoped to someday go viral and become a famous influencer.
We chatted until Mallory explained it was past Arielle's bedtime, and she should really be getting her to bed.
We wished them goodnight, and I headed inside to see what Kaori was up to.
Carol stayed out a little while longer, but I didn't notice what she was up to as Kaori and I got a little distracted in our bedroom, if you know what I mean.
I think she may have gone swimming.
I am still here. I was just about to add some photos to my up-date and the server for Postimages is down. Grrr... I am so behind as it is and I am on overtime every night this week and possibly Sat. I will try to get the up-date out tonight, but if not, I will do some comments.

Dylan came home after his Soccer Match, winning the game again. Even though his mind had been on the game, it had also been on something else...or rather, someone else...Morgan. As soon as he got home, he saw her there, and went over to talk to her.
Dylan: "Morgan, I was wondering if you would like to do something tonight. Perhaps go out somewhere together. I just won my soccer game and I'm feeling pretty good. I mean...if you're...if you're not busy..."
Morgan: "No, I'm not busy. What did you have in mind?"
Dylan: "I heard there's a bowling alley on campus...maybe you'd like to bowl a few games with me?"
Morgan: "Bowling? I haven't been since I was a kid. Sure, that sounds like fun..."
Dylan: "Okay, I just have to shower and change...won't be very long..."

When Dylan came downstairs, Morgan had also changed. They were going out wearing their university colors tonight. Dylan was going to pretend like he didn't know that anything had happened between Morgan and Paolo, or that Paolo was her ex-boyfriend. Dylan would just carry on and spend time with Morgan. They left the house together and it was a short walk to the bowling alley.
They headed inside and got their bowling shoes.
Dylan: "Morgan...I have to confess...I've never bowled before. So, you are going to have an advantage here..."
Morgan looked at him and smiled, "Really? Oh, you are going down!" she said laughing.
The bowling alley wasn't very busy, but they heard an overhead announcement saying it was "singles night". They chose a lane and started to bowl.
Morgan went first, "Luckily it's electronic scoring, so you won't be able to rig the score or anything..."
Dylan looked at her, "Do you think I need to cheat to win? Oh no! I am going to win this game, and then you'll have to..."
Morgan perked up, "I'm going to have to what, Dylan?"
Dylan: "Er...um....I was going to say that the loser has to buy a round of drinks later," he said winking at her.
Morgan: "Oh? A little wager? Okay, that sounds fair...and when I win, I will order the most expensive drink on the menu. Prepare to shell out those simoleons, Dylan!"
Dylan: "You are pretty sure of yourself tonight, Morgan. So, let's see what you've got. Oh, and I'm also going to throw in grovelling...the loser has to grovel before the winner..."
Morgan: "Oh, you are just digging yourself deeper, Dylan. Watch this!" she said as she took the bowling ball from the rack. Morgan looked back at Dylan not really paying attention to where the ball was going.
And suddenly...oh gosh...it went straight up in the air.
Morgan: "Okay, well that's never happened before....darn ball slipped from my fingers..."
Dylan: "That could have happened to anyone. Maybe you're just a bit nervous..."
Morgan: "Nervous? I'm not frikin' nervous. It just slipped....you're the one who should be nervous! Nervous...ha! We'll see how you do on your first ball..."
Dylan went up to the rack, chose a ball and then whipped it under his leg.
Morgan looked at Dylan speechless, "I thought you said you never bowled before? What the heck was that move?"
Dylan: "No, I haven't bowled before...but balls are balls...and I'm pretty good with a soccer ball, you know. So, maybe it's rubbing off on my bowling skills..." he chuckled, "You're up!"
And they continued to bowl. And both of them are more interested in looking at each other than keeping their eye on the ball.
Dylan was definitely doing better than Morgan, and then this happened.
And I had to laugh because right after Dylan got a gutterball, this popped up! Oh sure, Dylan loves bowling!
Morgan: "I see the ploy here...you keep talking to me when I throw the ball, so I'm not concentrating..."
Dylan: "What? Okay, I would never do anything like that...you're just not watching the ball..."
Morgan rolls the ball, and..."Oh sheesh! I can't believe this! Another gutter ball. Could we play bumper bowling instead?"
Dylan lines up his ball and gives Morgan a sideways glance.
Morgan: "Dylan, keep you eyes on the ball...isn't that what you told me?"
Dylan: "I can't keep my eye on the ball, when you are looking so good over there. Stop distracting me!"
And Dylan gets a STRIKE!
Dylan: "On second thought, just keep distracting me...it seems to make me get a strike better!" he said chuckling.
Morgan put her hands up in the air, "Oh my gosh! How am I supposed to compete with that? I swear, Dylan, if I find out that you have bowling experience and you've put one over on me, so help me...I am going to...I am going to punch you on your bowling arm..."
Dylan: "Well, you can give it your best shot...but these muscles are pretty firm," he replied showing off his muscles to her.
Morgan couldn't help but look and felt her face flush, "Wow! Yes...they do look rather firm...but...um....but bowling has nothing to do with muscles...so there! It's skill...all skill...so just keep those muscles covered...they mean nothing..."
Dylan: "Um...Morgan...you're looking a bit flushed...can I get you a glass of water?"
Morgan: "I am not flushed...now...just quit talking to me...I feel a strike coming on..."
And Morgan finally gets some pins down. Maybe there would be more if she kept her eyes off of Dylan.
Dylan: "That looked pretty good from where I was standing...REALLY nice form there!"
As they bowled, they talked about their plans after university, and Morgan told Dylan that she had applied for an internship on an archaeological dig in Selvadorada.
Morgan: "It will be quite an adventure heading into the jungle..."
Dylan said he didn't really have any plans, "Perhaps I'll just follow you there. Protect you...in case you come across any mummies..." he said grinning.
They both laughed and then Morgan got a text from Paolo. What? Seriously? During their date?
Afterwards, they continued with the bowling game.
And there's a STRIKE for Dylan. Woot!
And Morgan throws the ball...and it's looking good this time...
...but no....another gutter ball...how? how did that ball veer off?
Morgan: "There is definitely something wrong with this lane. We should start a new game in another lane...this is unbelievable! I am beginning to hate clowns!"
Morgan: "I am so done with this game!"
And then the game glitched, and there was no final score. However, if the number of gutterballs that Morgan got is any indication, then Dylan definitely won this game.

They headed over to the bar area, and Morgan asked Dylan what he would like to drink.
Dylan: "I say we celebrate with rootbeer floats. What do you think?"
Morgan: "That sounds good," she said as she motioned to the bartender and ordered two rootbeer floats.
Dylan: "Oh and about the grovelling part, Morgan...you don't have to do that...I was just joking about it..."
Morgan: "Well...I don't mind...you won fair and square...afterall, it beats the bet we had the last time in the dance battle..."
Dylan thought back for a moment, "You mean the one where I had to run around the block in my skivvies? That was quite exhilarating. I kind of liked that bet..."
Morgan: "I really think you liked losing that bet so you could show off those...um...rather unique skivvies..." she answered laughing.
Dylan smirked at her, "It seems you are always seeing me in my skivvies..."
Morgan swallowed hard remembering the time they swam at The Bluffs together in their underwear, "Yeah...I guess I am...which means we are even now on the bets..."
Dylan raised an eyebrow, "Really? Well, maybe that just means it's a tie-breaker, waiting for one of us to make another bet..." he said looking longingly at Morgan.
Morgan turned away embarrassed and took a sip of her rootbeer float, "Yeah...well, maybe we should bet on who will get the better grades this term..."
Dylan: "No way...I already know you're going to get good grades...and I think I am too. No...it has to be something more...um...risqué..." he answered slowly moving closer to her.
Morgan answered her face feeling flushed: "Risqué? Um...well...I'll have to think of something..."
Dylan laughed, "But, until then...I guess it's grovelling time..."
Morgan laughed, "So, do I need to bow down and shout your name at the top of my lungs that you are the best?"
Dylan: "Well, that would be a start!" he chuckled.
Morgan: "Oh...just wait until next time...you are going to pay for this," she said as she stood up and shouted out Dylan's name proclaiming that he was the best bowler ever. Then she sat down again.
Dylan grinned: "You know...you're rather cute when you're angry. Did anyone ever tell you that before?"
They finished their rootbeer floats and returned their bowling shoes.
Morgan: "Thanks Dylan for a fun time."
Dylan: "Yeah, I had fun, too. Maybe we could do this again sometime..."
For a moment they just stood there and gazed at each other. Dylan felt his heart pounding, and the "pull" tonight towards Morgan was strong. And that's why he had suggested rootbeer floats...because if he had ordered anything alcoholic, he might just...he might just want to remove that necklace and take his chances and kiss Morgan. But he couldn't, he was still cursed.
Dylan backed away first, "We should go..." he said quietly and Morgan smiled and nodded her head.

Notes:
Neither Morgan nor Dylan had any previous bowling skill.
But, what a bummer that the game glitched right at the end of their bowling game. There never was a final score. Towards the end, Dylan had to head to the restroom, and then he didn't get the bowling lane in his que. So maybe because of this, he somehow ended the game early. Oh well. I do have a feeling that Dylan won, though, with all the gutterballs that Morgan got!

This a huge house! It has three bedrooms, each with their own en suite, plus two half baths, open floor plan for the living room area, kitchen and dining, a gym, greenhouse, an office for Cale and an art studio for Sandy, a patio with a pool, hot tub, BBQ/Bar area and a couple seating areas, plus a rather large patio garden. It takes up the entire lot! You'd never know looking at it from the front.

Yay! Imgur finally let me upload some interior screenshots! As mentioned above, these are just a few highlights. Not included; part of the front porch, a seating area on the patio, gym, dining room, Sandy's art studio, most of the bathrooms and the boys bedrooms. I might do a slideshow of everything at some point, but you'll see most of it during gameplay anyway.

My first class was at nine, and the spa owner must have advertised the class because I was able to easily draw in five students!
It could have been a full class if it weren't for Judith Ward's paparazzi taking up space. You'd think a fancy spa like this would have better security, but maybe they see it as free advertising.
After class, Judith Ward came up and congratulated me on getting the job, stating that she would be a regular now that they'd finally gotten a decent instructor.
I blushed.
I thanked her for helping me get the job, and told her I was available if she ever needed a private instructor.
One of the ladies who had been in my class introduced herself as Kayla and asked if she could get a picture with me, but I declined.
It's truly amazing, get to know one 5 star celebrity and suddenly everyone thinks you're famous.
My next class was a guided meditation at one, so I pulled out the meditation stools and placed them in between the mats.
I was once again able to draw in five students, but the class ended up being anything but relaxing.
As soon as I began the session, one of my students got up and started to talk to themselves in the mirror. If that wasn't distracting enough, a photographer entered the room and placed herself right in front of me, bending over so all I could see was her backside. Yeesh!
I wrapped up the session soon after, and determined to ask the owner if we could get a bouncer to keep out the paparazzi from now on. This was getting ridiculous!
I had one more yoga class at four, and I was finally able to draw in a full class!
This time everything went fairly smoothly, and I managed to ignore the paparazzi who continued to insist on standing around in awkward places.
As I was cleaning up after class, Brytani Cho, a fairly well known comedian who had been a part of my yoga class, decided to start cheering and jumping around. Either she really liked the class, or she was trying to be funny. Which it was remains to be seen.
Back at home, I found Carol and Kaori by the pool along with Gideon and Arielle.
I went and sat by Kaori in one of the loungers and watched as the girls raced each other around the pool.
Carol even got to show off some of the dives she'd practiced over the summer.
I noticed another sim had joined us and was climbing up the diving platform.
Jaiden!
I sat up as he got ready to dive but ended up laughing when all he could manage was a belly flop.
Ouch.
He started to splash Carol and I noticed they were giggling and perhaps getting a little too friendly, so I did the only thing a sane father could do.
Cannonball!
It worked.
Carol started splashing me back and we had our own water war which ended with me suggesting we get out and work on her homework before bed.
I made a Caesar salad for dinner and helped Carol with her homework while telling her and Kaori about my first day of work.
Carol was very impressed with all the celebrities I'd met and asked if she could come with me on Saturday. I told her all she had to do was dress up like the paparazzi and she could probably stand at the front of the class with me. She laughed and said she'd have to dust off her camera.

"What happened out there?" Bryon asks.
"I don't know." D.J. replies. "We investigated the Lab like the night before. We were able to access the basement of the Lab. We encountered an area that looked a bit dangerous and Dylan here walks in it. Next thing, he passes out in front of us. We decided to bring him back here and heard the sirens going off as well as there is some type of cloud above the Laboratory. It looks like the type of cloud after a place has been nuked."
"You must have activated something."
"Something NOT good." D.J. adds.
D.J., Aldo, and Aaron strip out of their gear. They also remove Dylan's. They got lucky as not soon after, Grand Marshal Reece enters the barracks.
"We've got a situation men!" Reece exclaims. "Someone broke into the Laboratory. There were dangerous chemicals in there and this idiot released them. We were told they should be harmless if you notice little spores floating around."
Reece notices Dylan still sleeping.
"How is he sleeping through the sirens?" Reece asks and wonders. "This awful noise would wake anyone up. He's a lucky boy."
D.J. knew there was more to it than what his Grand Marshal was saying. He remembers what Erwin had given him before and nonchalantly goes to grab it from his trunk. D.J. walks up to Reece and goes in for a hug.
"Thank you for trying to keep us safe, sir!" D.J. says while skillfully planting the bug behind Reece's collar on his uniform jacket.
"Oh, you're a hugger." Reece says annoyingly and pulls away. "I don't like huggers. Don't ever do that again!"
That afternoon when D.J. notices Reece enter the town's library, now turned into an Information Center, he goes into the military base headquarters. There he listens in on Grand Marshal Reece's conversation.
"Have we figured out a way to kill that thing?" Reece could be heard.
"No, sir." A voice answers. "We were able to contain everything inside after the conspiracy theorists made their way out. We still haven't found all of them yet, either. They were in disguises. But now that someone opened the containment doors as well as an entry door, whatever virus we sealed up is out there. Luckily the spores floating around are harmless. But if the mist from the clouds fills the air, we're all going to be infected and turned into zombies."
"But what about that plant thing inside? How do we kill it? Killing it may solve all our problems."
"We've tried weapons, lasers, poison. Nothing is working. It just keeps growing whatever we throw at it."
"I think it's time we need to do the inevitable. We might have to destroy the town. If we bury the town, that could bury that thing. We'll call a meeting with the higher ups in command and begin evacuating them in about a week or so if we can't figure this out. Everyone else will have to be a casualty of war. Keep this between us. We don't want to panic the other military personel or scientists who won't be coming with us."
"Yes, sir!"
D.J. couldn't believe what he just heard. That evening he shares with his team what he had listened to.
"We have to find a way into the Information Center in the library." D.J. says. "And we have to do it fast. There's got to be a scientist in there we can trust."
"I know how we can get in." Cale responds.
June - Day 2: "Cale's New Wardrobe"

I wanted to use assets from Get Famous and tried to have at least one in each outfit. For casual - Top, Formal - Shoes, Athletic - Pants, Party - Pants, Hot - Shoes and Cold - Top & Pants. Cale also has two new traits; Active and Self-Assured. I also gave him a new hairstyle as I'm sure you've noticed. I'm not sure if I like it though. What do y'all think? Does it suit him? I'll probably look for another CC hairstyle for him, and maybe a different beard. However, I did recolor his beard to match his hair, it was too dark before.
I intended to give Sandy, Joe L. and Cale Jr. makeovers too, but realized I'd given them one very recently, so they won't get one this month. This will be it for today's update since I'm extremely frustrated with Imgur at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow's post will go much smoother than yesterday's and today.
By the way, who's excited for the new game pack, Werewolves? I am! YES! Feel free to replace any month you would like for this pack if you purchase it. I probably will, but not sure which world I'll replace yet.

That's what usually happens, Sims pass out and when they wake up, they're possessed. Of course, for your story perhaps you didn't want to show that part and imply that Dylan just passed out. Either way, still loving their outfits and I love that Cale hung back to check out Erwin's additional wares. hehe
Aww, well at least someone tried to make Chewie! Maybe with the new game pack someone will be able to finally make him eh? That would be very cool. Yes, I can see Cale loving that hat! Yes, that house is literally called Get Famous Mid Century Modern, and I think it was made for that lot it's on now. The driveway matches up to it almost perfectly.
Okay, so Dylan is still passed out. Good thing they took off his clothes for him before GM Reece entered the barracks. HAHA! I love this line, "Oh, you're a hugger... don't ever do that again!" hehe Good job DJ though!

Congrats to Aaron for completing the Renaissance and Fabulously Wealthy aspirations! Go Aaron! Look at all those traits and skills! Yep, he's well on his way to being a Super Sim! Love the shots of him fishing and woodworking! Yeah, building a rocket always slows me down for the Nerd Brain aspiration. It's worth it though when you have time and resources to do it. Love the Instant Upgrade and Insta-Repair rewards they get with that!

May 30 - Love the Daily Shot. It looks so nice
May 31 - I got a good laugh out of Adam being a blonde, with new glasses, too. Yes, putting on a disguise, just like Dylan has to as he changes worlds. Oh, and new names, too! At least you kept the first initials of their old names. And Kaori and Carol get a make-over, too. No...no-one will ever notice them with green or blue hair. lol Adam looks great in the first look with that jacket and hat. Love it! I like how they are not moving into some super rich place in Del Sol Valley, since while they were in Granite Falls, Kaori was concerned about their funds. So, yes, this seems perfect, a trailer park with a pool. And they meet some of the neighbors, and Jaiden makes a move on Kaori right in front of Adam! Oh gee! Adam speaks up to Jaiden and has a jealous moment, but Kaori smoothes things out later and gives him a rather nice kiss. They they go downtown to check out the spa. Adam holds a yoga class on the grass and Judith Ward attends and then gives Adam the spa owner's name and number and tells Adam to tell the owner that Judith recommends Adam. Nice! And Carol gets her autograph. Woot!
June 1 - It's hard for me to get used to Adam with the blonde hair...and now he has a tan, too. He is living the Del Sol life! Nice that Adam got the yoga instructor job and now Kaori also got a teaching job. And they meet more the neighbors. I love the idea of a community garden. And a nice date with Kaori - did you build that addition on top of the museum? Oh...and here is Carol alone with Jaiden in the pool after dark! ohhhhhh!
June 2 - Oh yes, the paparazzi and the celebs...hard to do a yoga class with them around. And then home to pool fun. Love how Adam intervened with Jaiden and Carol. Talk about an overprotective father, right? But I guess he knows how Jaiden is and doesn't want his daughter to be taken advantage of.
July - Day 21
First thing the next morning, Naoki and I went to the Puerto Llamante Marketplace. We were able to taste local food and buy some equipment for our hike, which was awesome (well, for the most part). I mean, we found a lost temple with traps and everything, and for some magical reason I only got burned a little bit! We’re definitely going back tomorrow.
(Bryon) "Good morning, sunshine. I thought you were gonna sleep in the bed??"
(Naoki) "I tried, but I really can't sleep alone anymore, so I decided to join you anyways."
(Bryon) "Naw, that's sweet."
(Naoki) "So, you wanna go to the marketplace to grab some breakfast? I'm starving!"
(Bryon) "Sure, I'm also kinda hungry, now that you're talking about food."
Once we arrived at the marketplace, we squished ourselves in between all the other Sims standing there (this stall sure is popular!) and managed to order something.
(Bryon) "Oh yes, this is good."
(Bryon) "Argh, don't ruin my beautiful breakfast, flies!"
(Naoki) "Adorable."
A bit further, I saw some Sims standing next to what looked like adventure equipment, so I asked someone standing there if those were for sale.
(Woman) "They sure are, my friend! Are you going into the jungle? I can recommend this machette!"
(Bryon) "Thank you. Is it okay if I look for a moment?"
(Woman) "Sure thing!"
I bought some equipment, thanked the lady and then looked over to Naoki.
(Bryon) "Naoki, are you ready??"
(Naoki) "Oh, yes. Sure am! I'm sorry guys. Was nice talking to you. Thanks for telling me about the jungle!"
Right before actually leaving, we made a stop in front of this statue cause we had to for the aspiration, heh. Okay, let's start this hike!
(Naoki) "Okay, let's read this board for a mo-"
(Bryon) "Ah, this is why that seller recommended me a machete."
(Bryon) "Let's get right into it!"
(Naoki) "Bryon, what are you doing?? Don't just do stuff without reading the guidelines!!"
(Bryon) "Oh. Too late, I already made an opening. I'm going in!"
(Naoki) "Bryon--"
(Naoki) ".... Wait."
(Naoki) "Since when is Bryon so.. Enthusiastic about this adventurous stuff? Ah well, better go after him fast."
(Naoki) "God, Bryon, there you are. I almost thought I'd lost you."
(Bryon) "It's beautiful here, Naoki."
(Naoki) "It sure is. Now, if you please don't run off like an idiot again?"
(Bryon) "Yeah, okay. Sorry about that. I'm just really enjoying this."
(Naoki) "I can see that."
So, we continued our hike without losing each other out our sight.
(Naoki) "Ill do this one!"
(Bryon) "Sure. Doing that earlier was pretty exhausting, actually, so I'm glad I don't have to do that again now."
Naoki looked awesome. I guess I'm falling in love again, with my own husband.
We continued our hike until suddenly we found an old building. A bit further there was another locked path.
(Naoki) "If you want, you can go explore that hidden path. I'll try to break this open here."
(Bryon) "Good idea!"
Well, let me tell you. Opening that hidden path wasnt a good idea AT ALL.
(Bryon) "Naokiiiiii!!!!"
(Naoki) "Bryon! I opened it! Bryo-- What on the earth happened to you?!"
We walked inside and as I was talking about what happened at the hidden path, we bumped into water.
(Bryon) "Water! Just what I need!"
I threw my clothes off, jumped in the water and swam.
(Bryon) "Hey, looks like this is an actual lane to follow."
(Naoki) "Really?"
And so, Naoki jumped in too, following me as I followed the lane of the river.
(Naoki) "Wow, can't believe we actually ended up in some kind of room..."
(Bryon) "Awesome, right??!"
(Naoki) "What is this even?"
Of course, the nerd that I am, I started taking notes.
(Naoki) "There's also another device in the room next door."
(Bryon) "Oh, really??"
(Bryon) "Have to check that out too!"
(Naoki) "Haha, of course you do."
(Bryon) "Hmm... What's this?"
(Naoki) "I don't think you should-"
(Naoki) "-Touch that..."
(Bryon) "Ah, I'm on fire!! Its actual fire!!"
Luckily Naoki was prepared. He snatched the fire extinguisher from the wall and blushed the fire.
(Bryon) "Hehe. I'm sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. But thanks for saving me there."
(Naoki) "You're kidding me, right? If you keep doing these impulsive things, this trip is gonna be your--"
(Naoki) "-- Death... Please don't die on me. Stop doing this!"
(Bryon) "Ahh!"
(Bryon) "Oof, that scared me. I'm fine, Naoki!"
(Naoki) "Mhm. I can see that. But for how long?"
I totally ignored Naoki and threw another offer in another bowl. Suddenly it lit up bright blue/white.
(Bryon) "Ha, this looks good, doesnt it???"
Slowly, the fire disappeared.
(Naoki) "Maybe we should head back to our lodge for today. It's getting dark. We can come back tomorrow, using your teleport spell."
(Bryon) "Whoa, I only now realised that I'm a Spellcaster! I should--"
(Naoki) "No Bryon, you're not gonna cast any spells in this temple. Well, besides poofing us back."
(Bryon) "Naw, you're no fun, but okay, I won't use any spells in the temple, besides the teleport spell. Too bad I can't teleport to places I've never seen or I'd be poofing myself through this entire temple."
(Naoki) "I know you would, haha. Okay, let's come back tomorrow!"
Finally was able to take a shower at our lodge and take all that grime off of me.
And then, back to the tent, cause we still have another aspiration to finish too.

I found a Maxis Match CC hair very similar to the first one I gave Cale, but this one is a bit longer and messier. I think it looks good on him. It's called Daryl by Simstrouble if anyone is interested. His beard is different too, it's N48 by Praline. Use the lightest brown swatch just before the red shades. It's the closest one to his hair color.
After Cale, Fox, Venus and Aurora defeated the Mother, life changed in a hurry for Cale. Despite his belief they were all heroes, as far as the town and the world was concerned, Cale was the Hero of StrangerVille. A few weeks later, he was approached by a talent agency with the promise of eventually starring in a movie about his life. However, he would need to learn how to act first. There was also the matter of finding a place to live in Del Sol Valley so he would be near the studios there to try out and act in gigs found by his new agency for him.
Between the funds Cale had saved from his Plant Biologist career, earnings from the flower arrangements he'd sold on Plopsy, and profits from his garden, Cale was able to feel comfortable in renting a rather large home for his family. It was for sale and Fox offered to buy it for him, but Cale's pride wouldn't let him do that. Perhaps one day, if they stayed in DSV, Cale would be able to buy it himself. He wasn't sure if he would like the celebrity life or if it was a good place to raise his kids either, so for now, they would rent.
They had moved and lived in the new rental for only a few days when Cale got a call from the agency with his very first gig. The Script Supervisor would send over his lines to practice within the hour.
(Wow, things sure happen fast in this town!)
(Hmm, well this looks easy enough. I just have to play some kind of wild animal in a forest and play the guitar. I can do that.)
Cale got to work right away practicing his lines in the mirror located in their bedroom.
Meanwhile, Sandy was in her art studio/office painting. She kept her painting career and is working on the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration.
Joe is in his room practicing casting spells with the wand his Father gave him as a child. He's working on the Spellcraft and Sorcery aspiration and hopes to be a powerful Spellcaster like his parents and his namesake, L. Realistically he knows he'll never be as good as L. since she's a Sage, but a guy can dream, right?
Cale Jr. is taking a break from experimenting and crafting chemical potions to play some Simscuffle.
It's been quite awhile since Cale picked up his guitar to play. He felt a bit rusty at first when he took it outside on the patio to practice.
But, it wasn't long before his fingers were flying smoothly over the strings picking out melodies from his youth and the songs he had written himself.
Finished painting, Sandy was having leftover chicken dinner. Amazing it's still good after all this time eh?
Joe learned the Inferniate spell while practicing, which he thought was kind of cool. Though he wasn't sure in what instance he'd ever need to use it. This weekend he hoped to go to the Magic Realm. It had been awhile and he missed it. Right now though, he had homework to do.
Cale Jr. was doing the same thing in his room. He wanted to get good grades so he could go to Uni and be a scientist, just like his Dad.
Both boys were hungry by now, but Sandy had eaten the last plate of food in the fridge. It was about time Joe learned how to cook, so he tried his hand at making a big salad for everyone to share instead of bothering Mom or Dad to make something to eat. Cale Jr. rummaged around and found stuff to make a PB&J sandwich instead. Salad was for bunnies in his opinion.
Sandy was in a happy mood and felt like turning on the retro HiFi for some dance music.
Cale could see her dancing from his spot on the patio and was enjoying watching her moves. It put him in a flirty mood, remembering the night he'd seduced her and their first time together. He went inside to give her a delicious kiss and then took her into his arms for a slow dance.
She was so beautiful, he looked at her with love in his eyes and saw the same reflected in her own. She smiled at him, remembering that night too as they slowly swayed together to the beat of a ballad.
Finished with their meals, the boys sat together having a chat while trying to ignore their parents lovey dovey ways. Inside they both were secretly happy their parents loved each other so much. Some of their classmates weren't so lucky.
Cale Jr. was making goofy faces and telling jokes making Joe laugh at his silly little brother.
"What did the monster say after he picked his nose?"
"I don't know, what?"
"BOOGA BOOGA RAWRRRRR!"
This is the first time I've ever had any of my Sims try the slow dance animation that came in the MWS patch. I think they did a good job with it myself. Reminds me of some of the CC poses I used.
Cale is really strong eh? He's holding her like that with just his fingertips! o.O
The boys went to bed, followed by Cale and Sandy retiring to their bedroom. Neither one was very tired at the moment though.
They had other things on their mind after dancing together made them recall the sweet memories of Love Day a few years ago, the night Cale Jr. was conceived. Would tonight have the same results? Only the Watcher knows for sure...

I guess the spa owner took my advice to heart. I showed the bouncer my spa ID and told him Kaori was with me and he let us pass.
While I was holding my classes, Kaori took the opportunity to enjoy the spa's indoor hot-spring.
After my meditation class, we went up to the roof top pool and caught some rays to freshen up our tans.
After work, we picked Carol up from school and went to check out a new club that was suppose to be one of the hottest spots in town.
We were some of the first sims there, so we took over the dance floor and let loose!
Soon enough other sims came strolling in, including Judith Ward, who seems to be everywhere these days. She stole the spotlight and had a crowd of fans surrounding her at all times.
Judith wasn't the only sim we knew there. Jaiden and Mallory from our trailer park also showed up and joined us on the dance floor.
Jaiden was acting like hot stuff, so I challenged him to a dance off.
I began and pulled out one of the best moves I'd learned in Windenburg. With a leap I twisted in the air and landed back on my feet in a perfect back-flip.
Even Jaiden seemed impressed.
To try and top my performance, Jaiden pulled out some light batons and twirled them around above his head.
I have to admit he was pretty good. We ended up calling it a draw and shook hands on it.
I started thinking I might have misjudged Jaiden, but then he went and immediately started flirting with someone else's date.
Maybe not.

Regarding the werewolves pack, I am excited too. I don't want to go into much details, but I'll be combining it with my vampires month. Not going to worry about the Aspiration that comes with it. But I'll use both Forgotten Hollow and the new World for that month. HOWEVER, if the Aspiration does interest me, then I'll just switch the Aspiration from vampire to werewolf...but still have the month focus with vampires as well.
Anyway, very curious to find out how your idea with vampires/werewolves pans out. I'm waiting until I know what the aspiration(s) involve too before I decide whether or not I'll replace a world with the new one for Cale. If I do go for it, I'm thinking either Evergreen Harbor or Brindleton Bay. I'd originally thought Brindleton Bay, but he'll be an adult by then and I'd rather he were a YA when a werewolf. The only problem with that is I love the Eco pack aspirations and it follows right after Forgotten Hollow. I'd need to come up with a good reason why he'd go from being a vampire to a werewolf when the two occults are rivals. hehe Eh, we shall see how it goes.

I'm so happy EA/Maxis finally brought werewolves into the game. Vampires and Werewolves need to go together. Longtime enemies. That's all I'll say in regard to how I am going to be putting it together in my story. I'll use both Forgotten Hollow and the new World together for that month. Forgotten Hollow will be the main World. I'll be using @afai1261 's Aaron and Hunter as major roles.

Sandy and Cale's schedule is a bit off from the boys. They'd been up for awhile with Sandy painting and Cale practicing acting. The boys left for school and it was 'lunch' time for their parents. Fridge was empty again so Sandy made more salad.
Cale continued to practice acting on his new 'acting enhanced' mirror until it was almost time to head out for his first audition. He took the time to psych himself up first to help his confidence.

Part of the aspiration calls for giving a street performance. Luckily Cale had reached a level in acting that allowed him to do a musical selection. I don't know who he's calling out to, there's nobody around! Ah well...
The faces they make to warm-up totally crack me up!
First part was a dance routine. Pfft, you've got this in the bag Cale. Of course he can dance, he's a pro at it. The Dude had his own dance club and maxed out the skill a long time ago. Go Cale!

Uh, well, he's not the best singer though. At least not yet. He tried hard though. By the way, notice that shadow on the right? He had an audience of one, but they were invisible! o.O
Maybe it was a good thing Cale didn't know he had an audience. He might've been even more self-conscious with his singing ability.
Oh! Okay, well that's weird, it was a vampire! One of Cale's baby Mamas, Saya Okado, who gave him twin sons. Must be she didn't want him to know she was watching? Or something...
The boys would be home from school soon, so Cale ran inside to see if Sandy wanted to have some fun before they arrived. Of course she did.
I don't know what happened after the fireworks, but all of a sudden everything went black. Maybe all those sparks shorted out the wiring? hehe
By this time the boys were home and doing their homework together while their parents went to get some sleep. I don't know what Cale Jr. said to Joe, but it had a shocking affect on him. Oh wait, I bet it was about the naughty drawing the teacher found in his desk at school.
"Mom and Dad find out and you're grounded."
*blows raspberry* "I don't care, it wasn't that bad. Not MY fault she's got big bazookas."
"You didn't need to draw them though. Not cool squirt!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"You shouldn't disrespect your teacher like that. She's a nice lady. I had her for your grade too."
"I know, why do you think I like her so much. She's really cute too."

Cale Jr. needed to play three games of chess, so he asked Joe to play with him. I don't think Joe expected his little brother would beat him! Look at that face! hehe
The boys went to bed and Cale and Sandy got up. I think it might've been a mistake upgrading their bed. Oh well, I finally figured out what was wrong with the lighting too. Kind of embarrassing actually. They hadn't paid their bills! o.O I noticed when I tried to turn the lights on and got a message about it. D'oh!
Cale is taking a break from a long acting practice session to have some fun. I don't know why acting isn't fun for him. Maybe it will be after he has more skill later on.
After awhile, the boys got up and left for school. Cale is once again playing SimScuffle. Sandy's still hard at work painting. She needs one more skill level and one more Masterpiece to finish the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. I was SO happy to see this painting on her easel. It's a bit rare and one of my absolute favorite paintings!
Since I was checking on Sandy's aspiration, I took a look at Cale's tasks for his gig tomorrow. I thought all he needed was Level 3 guitar, but it updated. He needs to research how to be playful and be funny with others. Best way to get playful is a bubble bath in my experience.

Uhhh, I plead the Fifth...
His upload speed has been fine so I knew it had to be something with my computer. Cross your fingers that was the problem! It's so, SO frustrating to have an update all ready to go, but can't post it. I apologize for complaining about this so much, especially if the solution was something as simple as what I suspect. You've probably noticed I haven't written much 'story' yet either. If my upload issue is fixed, that'll change. I've just been so stressed out about it, I haven't felt like writing much after struggling to upload my screenshots.
Anyway, I'll get started on comments/replies next. I hope y'all had a wonderful day/night!
