Is there a snow fix for Aurora Skies that actually works in an officially downloaded version?

So, this was the last world I have purchased several months ago, but the snow issue keeps me away from playing it. I have seen several fixes for this town's snow problem when I searched for it, but the problem is, all of them require a version of the world that I am not going to talk about on this forum. I have the world purchased and I am not willing to go that far to fix the snow issue.

Is there a way to fix this for the "official" version of Aurora Skies that is purchased and not modified in any way? It is the only Store world I own that I have not tried yet and I really want to do so.

I am also willing to go down CAW route as long as all rabbitholes do not go missing like they do when I try to open one of those fixed Aurora Skies worlds that are made for the "unofficial" version of that town.

@Rsanda - Sorry for taking so long to respond.

I also had looked into this issue when I first was using Aurora Skies. There has never been an official fix to the world. I will point you to two threads that discuss some fixes.

This is Cinderellimouse's thread How to fix the snow in aurora skies. She uses CAW.

The other thread that is on the forum may be the one you are referring to in your first paragraph. https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/924743/aurora-skies-with-snow-fix. This thread is 4 years old and has not been taken down, so I think it is not breaking forum rules. Otherwise, the gurus would have taken it down.

I personally have learned to live with the grey snow. Back in February, I created a thread to show why I am fine with the gray snow. The Gray Snow of Aurora Skies is Realistic.
