There's a lot of weirdness in the system as it currently stands! One of my sims is happily married now, but any ex-girlfriend from college that he didn't get the chance to formally break up with is now calling other sims in my rotation like "Gennady's going to propose to me!"

And I'm like "sorry, nope, good guess but wrong, his wife just really likes wearing jewelry on her hands, and he is rich, soooooo..."

In my rotational save I’m currently playing with Michael Bachelor. Well his sister called him the other day with the same message about Mortimer. I told her to say yes. 😑😆

I’m going to go into the Goth home later on and see if she has a moodlet for it. Nothing like getting engaged to your already husband.

In my game my Sim's boyfriend called her up, saying he'd found a ring in his girlfriend's purse (and all I could think was, 'what are you doing rummaging through her purse, dude). She told him to say yes, and just like that my couple were engaged. So, it was a win-win for me. Saved me a number of steps, anyway. LOL If you don't want this relationship to go forward, you should select the Don't do it, option.
