Sims 2 and One Drive

Hello,
So my onedrive is full: and i have now switched from saving to onedrive to This PC, i was wondering what to do about the sims 2. The EA games folder in documents backed up to onedrive, now since i have it on my PC, when i start the game, will the folder reappear back? i also understand that it would probably refresh to a fresh install of the entire game. But once the folder spawns, can i just copy and paste my hoods and play them that way? or do i have to copy the entire EA games folder?
