Will My New Global Superstar Lose His Frame If He Doesn't Place It Right Away?

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

I tried both an Internet Search and one in this forum. Apparently, I've asked this question, or something similar, before. Early this Sim morning, my Teen reached Global Superstar. He went off to school, like normal, along with his siblings. His mother is now combatting a cold and their father doesn't return home from work until 4PM. Can he postpone the Frame-Placing Ceremony for another time, or must he do so in the same day he received it? This is the Teen's crowning achievement in his rapid rise to fame. He just won for Best Song, too. I'd like this to be a nice occasion, one not married by someone who feels cranky from being ill.

My sim has still not placed her frame , and she reached Globas Superstar status, eh, 2 irl years ago And the frame is still in her inventory. Or was when I last time looked in that save some weeks ago.

The timing is completely up to the player, as far as I can tell. I don't currently have an active 5-star celeb, but none of my previous ones (except for the very first) rushed out to place their star. I have some that never placed one at all (story reasons). Their fame rating was completely unaffected in every case.

Hey, thanks for weighing in on the topic. I went ahead and had him place his frame, but then he got a concert gig, too. So, I had them all attend his Post-Frame Concert. They have put off going out to dinner until the next day. Of course, this next day isn't going so well. Besides his mother being ill, his father is now very uncomfortable. And his only sister is uncomfortable. Just when you thought everybody was back on their feet … I am afraid that this iteration of Erik while he's successful in many ways, the health of his family, not so much. Nor has he met his girlfriend. He met Sandi, but while he was up on the stage singing his heart out, Aaron was busy chatting … (which is good, because she's supposed to end up with him anyway).

At any rate, I hope all of you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I live out here in the West and we're closing in on our dinner hour, but not quite there, yet.
