Broken/Updated Mods & CC: Nov ’21 Scenarios Patch

This topic is for collecting reports on mod and custom content status after the November XXX, 2021, Scenarios patch. Feature updates are not reported here. See below for a link to where to find those. If you haven't played since before 2021, please consider using only mods reported fine or updated this year.

A few notes to keep this thread helpful for others and manageable for me:

• Please keep discussion to reports of broken or updated mods and CC. This EXCLUDES all 18+ content, which is NOT permitted on the Forums. Please DO NOT TELL ME about these mods.
• Please test mods before you report them broken. See the instructions below. When you report them broken, tell me how they are broken and how you tested. This is important so that we here, on Discord, on Twitter, and on SimsVIP don’t have to walk back broken-mod reports when it turns out the mod wasn’t broken.
• Please don’t ask about mods that haven’t been reported yet — if it’s not listed here, we either don’t know yet or it’s content we can’t report on here.
• Please don’t ask which of your mods is broken; this is not a support thread. Use the lists on p. 1 to remove and updated mods. You might also need to go to the previous list; a link is below. If that doesn’t help, instructions for the 50-50 method of isolating broken content are below. If you need support, use the links to the Discord support servers below.
• Please don’t report mods as working unless you are the creator or have a direct report from the creator. Thanks!

GAME-RATED CONTENT ONLY: Mods that breaks the T-forTeen game rating CANNOT be discussed or named in these official forums and will not be included in my list. Do not ask about or report on any of them here — it’s against forum rules. Some creators of these mods also won’t be reported here. If you use mods that break the game rating, you can’t rely only on the Forum for info.

ALSO NOT LISTED: I also do not list mods still in initial alpha/beta, mods by people who copy other people’s mods, pirate software, or do not release free updates in a timely way.

REPORTING BROKEN MODS: Before reporting a mod is broken, test it:

1. Back up your saves in case you save over or corrupt a favorite file while you’re testing.
2. Remove everything from your Mods folder except the mod being tested and, if you’re looking for a last exception (LE) to be generated, TwistedMexi’s Better Exceptions and/or the core MC Command Center files. If you need help reading an LE, please head to Discord, to the Deaderpool or Sims After Dark server.
3. Delete the localthumbcache file. This step is important because it can hold the memory of removed mods being there. If you don’t delete it, you could still just be seeing a mod conflict or different broken mod.
4. Open your game and test to see if the mod is doing what it should. If it’s still broken, please let me know! Tell me how it’s broken and how you tested it, and let the creator know too.

Better BuildBuy is showing glitchy icons in BuildBuy
More CAS Columns is with some minor visual glitches in CAS, but it still works
UI Cheats Extension shows a glitchy bar with animated icons where is the Scenarios Goal panel

hmmm i have a mod somewhere that is broken in my game my sim house wont load and it goes back to the world screen i guess i will have to keep looking i have taken out UI mods

Start with all mods affecting CAS or Build/Buy UI. Lots of mods affect UI without being "UI mods"! If the results of a 50-50 turn up something not yet reported that is allowed to be reported here, please let me know, including how you tested.

I have to echo this. These threads were the sole original reason I started regularly looking at these forums at all. They indirectly led me to eventually go ahead and sign up a year or more after I started keeping a usual watch during update times. Very much appreciated @luthienrising

yes it broken i took it out too test custom hair and with it out can change the color of the hair. With it in can't just icons that look like trashcans block the swatches. https://imgur.com/a/jRuuhAt

Hey, just letting you know I can't test my mods until tomorrow, but I'll be doing it first thing.

Having issue after this Nov update, I went in to build mode from gameplay screen, when I went back to gameplay all the the sims info panel was missing clicked on sims nothing no interactions available, saved & exited gameplay and went to world screen and clicked on household no play icons for any household, all top right hand corner icons working fine, this happened straight after had sim elope with and marry another sim who I had join household. exited game and restarted, now have strange box in upper left of screen with small timer saying end early to cancel, when click it nothing happens, I went to my other households and box with timer not showing only on my recently eloped household? Only mod I have is MCCC along some hair, clothes, make up eye colour packages for CAS?

Hey there. I know all mods by ChippedSims are confirmed as working, but I have the Paws & Claws mod + XML injector and the Core of the mod, but domestic bunny homes aren't working for me as of today. When I click on the house to purchase a bunny, the menu doesn't appear. Just thought I report that in case anyone else is having the same issue :smile:
