I've had that problem a number of times and it was always custom content... shoes, boots, socks. Check to see if the cc items your sims are wearing in the tub has been updated from the creator. If not, then you'll have to ditch that particular piece of cc or live with your sims bathing in their footwear.

Unlike the toddler slippers that actually are a game bug, this is actually an issue with badly tagged CC that mostly even persists after you have retagged or removed the bad CAS items.

Yeah if I remember correctly, the game will just replace the missing CC items with something else.
@SnaveXs You can use Sims 4 Studio to run a batch fix to correct those CC items marked for nude. Any default CC you have such as eyes & skin should probably be pulled out of your mods folder before you run the batch fix.. then you can put them back in. Years ago when I fixed some CC jeans that were marked for nude, the game replaced the jeans with EA clothing so I used the exact same mod Rouensims linked above in this thread to fix that issue too. Check the comments for the updated version because it seems LittleMsSam has been keeping it up to date.
For some reason Sims Studio wouldn’t solve the problem for me, no matter how many times I ran the batch fix or retagged the individual cc pieces. But the mod worked immediately.

Maybe it's a hidden NAP.
(Joking)
Sounds weird enough to be a NAP. It' happening in a lot of my households.
