When you make food for a party and guests choose to grab leftovers from the fridge. I make a point of emptying the fridge beforehand. One time I placed the fridge in the household inventory.
I literally place the fridge in the household for every party because of this. I had a post somewhere asking for a lock on the fridge so this would not happen and so I don't have to put it in the household inventory every single party.
Ooh, I'd love to be able to lock the fridge. Sometimes I have my kitchen and dining separate and lock non household members out of the kitchen.
It’s so frustrating that the incense burners are constantly catching fire. I like to use them as decorations but I would love to be able to use them to influence moods without burning everything around.
Townies that spawn very far from where they live. Each lot should have a hierarchy for who spawns based on lot traits and their proximity to lot. That way we would feel more like each world, neighborhood, and lot has its own vibrant community and personality.
NPCs being spawned when all possible roles are already filled. Roles like bartender at each community lot should be assigned to one sim per role and their needs should potentially be locked while working to prevent a need for a shift change. This would cut down on the number of randomly generated NPCs and allow players to form attachments to the ones that do exist!
Active jobs that exist in the game that our sims can’t have. Why can’t we have our played sims choose to work as the bartender at the local bar or trainer at the local gym etc? The system already exists! Even if EA decided to make it part of a Get to Work refresh feature, being able to fill our worlds with workplaces for sims that live there seems pretty awesome and a missed opportunity now without it!
Lack of neighborhood control. It would be so cool to be able to assign “not in world” npc sims to a neighborhood and world so they would show up more often in those areas than others.
Sims that invite you to their house or that you invite and absolutly ignore you to go straight to the computer, the TV or take a book. Completely ignoring their host.
When sims get upset when they have an "awful holiday" because they didn't get to do everything, due t them rather doing other things, thanks to auto-que dropping or the requirements glitching out and never fulfilling.
Give our Vampires back their fangs!!! Reverse the Nerf!!! Occult simmers should not be shoved aside for the "realism players"! It's time Occult lovers/players started to demand equal treatment. #JusticeForOccults

-The curry challenge at the spice festival should be something sims do together at the table. Instead of your sim just picking up a plate.
- sims should dance facing each other.
- automatically making the bed
- Lack of toddler beds
- sims not paying when they invite you out.
- No change to relationship or even moodlets from city living rabbit whole events(which I haven’t noticed in my game in a while)
When a friend calls in the morning and asks the sim if they want to hang out tonight, and when you say yes, then the hangout starts right away. No, 10 am is not "tonight"!.
If you ask "tonight", then we should be able to schedule a meeting for a later time in the day, that would be more like "tonight" and less so "leave your breakfast unfinished and go straight away".
Often I'd like to accept the offer but I'm in the middle of something important and just can't drop everything, so I have to decline.
And vice versa - when I want to meet up with a sim, I should have an option to schedule the hangout. But who am I kidding, even "plan a wedding" is "get married this minute" in Sims 4, so why am I thinking that all the other events would deserve any longer notice then 5 seconds.
It would be nice to have a variation of invites. Some examples:
maybe there could be something resembling an emergency, where you can only choose yes or no "Your friend is in labor and is going to the hospital on their own. Would you like to join and support them?".
party at the buffs and other similar events are not an emergency and it would be nice to have the extra option of "sure, let's meet up in an hour (or at 6 pm or whatever)", that let's you finish what your sim were doing (eating, sitting on the toilet etc) and whisk you away at the scheduled time.
Oh, and if that time management option were there, then the number of times you decline or accept the offers should impact your friendship levels.
I agree. When they added the city living events. Sims call to invite you out for a set time and then at that time you can either go or cancel. I don’t know why they didn’t do that to all the events.

Huh that is a good idea as well. I have been making more open kitchens lately but maybe I need to close them back off now.
When sims dump trash on the floor next to the trash can instead of actually throwing it away and then complain that there’s trash on the floor
Ooh yes this irks the heck out of me, but also to add onto this is when they'll walk past their indoor rubbish can to use the outdoor one, despite there being nothing blocking the indoor one. -_-

Here's another one that's been bothering me for ages, and this is that child and teen sims can't socialise with their friends at school or do late homework. Sure they can meet new people at school, but they can't socialise with their new friends during school? It's quite irritating, as there are more things to do at school than just meet new people and learn things.

Now that you mention it I don’t think I have. I hadn’t noticed since I take my sims to restaurants pretty often.
