Photos disappeared when placed on wall

My sims moved house and when I hung one of their photos on the wall, it disappeared. I also tried hanging two others up on that wall and they also disappeared. Does anyone know how I can get these photos back?

Weird. I just discovered that this only happens if the photo was in the inventory of a toddler... Also if a potion from the rewards store is in a toddler's inventory and I take it out it disappears but if it's in the inventory of an adult sim and I take it out it doesn't disappear.

@MaggieMarley did you check household inventory to see if it moved there? Also, maybe they disappeared because toddlers really shouldn't have 'adult' things or things they can't make/create themselves in their inventory?

Isn't this a known bug since 2014? When you reload the household it should be back again.

They weren't in the household inventory either. Weird. I rolled back a save (I did a save as just before moving) and got them back but I don't know what happened there.

Is it? Not had it happen to me before. They weren't there when I reloaded the household but I rolled back a save and got them back that way.

I had this happen to me once about a year ago. I ran a repair on my game on origin and it fixed it.

I think this was always a glitch that was never fixed.
