Managing inventories

I am sure this has come up before, but is there a better/faster way to manage the Sims inventories. This click and drag of each individual item is tiresome. Is there an addon or mod to handle this? Thanks.

@Yolee I'm not sure if this will help but the discover university pack has a storage chest that lets you put different collectable types in each chest; ie: you can put crystals in one, metals in anothern etc. Can't remember if food & drinks can be done that way, sorry. Won't really speed things up but it will help with organizing you inventory.

They need to make it so we can purchase multiple items by typing the number in. Having to click the button to get to 50 of an item for example is very annoying.
