Rather than have a pet fish, I'd like to adopt an octopus in the wild. That way it would be (hopefully) protected from predators and it would get to live in its natural habitat. Perhaps I could even go and visit!

@WhatCobblers how is an octopus protected from predators if it's living freely in the ocean?

wish I could say I'd like my morning busy and productive, but for a long time now, I slouch around with no focus or energy til early afternoon, and then suddenly I have energy and focus. Which lasts late into the night. So I currently like my mornings quiet and lazy, with a hot cup in one hand and the mouse in the other.

A soft mattress, the kind you can sink into, and to stay soft and springy, not go hard after a year's use. Same with pillows.

@ignominiusrex hmm, good point, it's probably not that easy for conservation charities to keep octopuses protected from natural predators but I like to think they would at least offer a bit more protection from human ones.

Homemade with a tender flaky crust and I like anything in pie, even ones other people in the US at least, often don't appreciate, like meat pies and rhubarb pie. I would wish if I could have magic, that I could eat pies without metabolic consequence.

I would love to have a day off that's purely selfish in which I don't have to get out of bed for anything, don't have to interact with anyone, don't have to eat unless I just happen to feel hungry, and not have to feel guilty about just wanting to focus on whatever I want, for as long as I feel like it, without having to explain or apologize.
