The Goldhart Legacy

This will be more like my personal thread for my new family, the Goldharts. This is not a well-written story or anything like that, plus my English are pretty mediocre so there is nothing to read here. I write down the events as they happen. I am exciting for this new family I have made and its story.
Just a few kilometers away from Simsonia's coast, lies a small and abandoned island-village. It was once called the "Winchester farming community", possibly named after the initial farmers who settled in this island, the Winchesters. The island was soon abandoned by early to mid 20th century as its last residents migrated to mainland Simsonia in search of better job opportunities.
The island is now the hub of small scale toursm activities involving sea sports and an active bar for the tourists.
But in 1948, an impoverished and desperate couple landed on the shores of the island. Their serious and grim face only shows how desperate this couple is. Impoverished and with little money left, their arrival at this Gods forgotten island is definitely involuntary. His name was Edward Wyatt Goldhart and her name was Brittney-Anne Goldhart.
The land was vast and empty, and the couple had to navigate its sea with a small boat they managed to buy just before they flee their old world. Luckily, the couple had a place to call temporary home. It was the old house of an old fisherman who abandoned his house in 1939 and was friend of Edward.
But upon approaching the old house, they found out that its not only very old but about to collapse as well.
Oh great....
Despite the danger the couple was so tired that they decided to rest inside this very abandoned house. The night was warm and mosquito bites relentless. The melancholic couple did not exchange a lot of words. The very next day both determined that after what have transpired back to their old life, they can not go back. They must make a new life here, or feel the wrath of the very powerful entity that made them abandon their old life and city in the first place. They decided to explore the island. See whats going on around there.
Soon they bumped into the one and only bar that exists in the island. And the only active place in the entire island.
The bartender said that the owner kept the bar here to accomodate tourists who visited the beach of the island for their sea sports activities. He advised the couple that they should leave the island as there is no permanent life in there and they will be on their own if something happens to them. The matter of food was also important. The couple had nothing to feed themselves with. No supermarkets around.
The island was almost untraversable. Grass had grew in roads and elsewhere.
There were old, abandoned farmhouses...
...farmland was uncultivated and slowly reclaimed by trees and grass...
...not to mention that creepy, abandoned cemetery.
The wild animals run rampant.
After spending an entire day wandering, the couple spotted another abandoned house. But this one lacked a door.
The couple decided to spend the day in this door-less house. It looked abandoned and noone was inside. Brittney was worried that this was the hiding spot of criminals and thugs. They were steadly growing hungry again and had no reliable source of food other than whatever that bartender was willing to give them. When the bar is open. "Maybe...we should return. Pay for our crime...settle our debt..." Brittney said, but even the thought of returning was unthinkable for Edward. They just cant risk it. What if they lose their lives? They exiled themselves to this abandoned island and now they have to do something about it. Live, or perish.

Next day the couple realized how desperate they are. They had stomach pains from hunger, they were dirty and tired. But most importantly, desperate due to the fact that they have no place to call home, a place to ease down under a roof in a safe environment. Edward decided to build their own home in this island. If there is no house to rent, as they initially hoped for, they will have to build one for themselves.
Edward spotted a small hill in the edge of the island. He liked the position. Its high, and would allow him to watch over the entire island.
After bumping into more abandoned houses....
...traversing woody alleys...
...and other shenanigans....
...a steep sandy road lies ahead of them.
On the top of the hill, they found the remnants of an old, abandoned farmhouse.
Edward loved that spot. Its wide and open and its in the highest place of the island, allowing Edward to watch over the entire island. If someone else visit the island, friend or foe, Edward will be the first to know
But they had nothing. In the first days they lived in a tent, and fished in the pond next to them. Nature accomodated for any other need they had.
The couple was all alone. Wild plants had reclaimed part of the island, wild animals ran rampant, there was no supermarket or any other store or shop in the island and there was no sign of human life anywhere else other than that bar and the tourists in the nearby beach. The entire island was practically theirs, along with whatever treasure it is hiding.
The very first house they built was less than modest. It was equipped with only the necessary items they needed to survive.
Made of old, cheap wall with lots of cracking, this house was not only humble but unsafe. The couple didnt have much money to build something better than this, after all.
A circular room with a bed, a wardrobe and a crude bathroom. Thats all.
As you see, there was no kitchen in the house. The couple fed themselves by fishing...
...and by farming. Under the strict guidance of Husband Edward, the couple soon started producing apples, letuces, tomatoes, those were the only source of food for the couple, which suffered from not only poor diet but poverty as well. After the house was built, there was only around 15 simoleons left in the family's pockets!!!
The fact that they lived alone in an abandoned island didnt bother them at all. They both enjoyed the tranquility and made big plans for the future.
The couple loved kids and Brittney was quickly pregnant with twins and then more twins!
Their name was Edward Ray II, Roy Spencer, Harley Owen and Dalton Goldhart. They played mostly with themselves or with their mother. Edward usually spent most of the day in the field tending his farm, sowing and reaping. It was a brutal life, and with all the hard work they rarely had any moment to spend for themselves. Edward dreamt of expanding his little gardening farm and farm even more products, in order to earn more simoleons out of this. Ocassionally, Brittney would help him out with the farming tasks.
Thanks to farming, the family started to prosper. Thanks to the farming background of Edward's family, Edward knew what to plant, where and how. Soon, they had the simoleons required to build a new, bigger and better house. The things started normalizing as the couple slowly escaped poverty. But the island is empty and Edward started thinking that social isolation had taken its toll on the children.
Specifically, one day, Edward realized that his children talk to themselves sometimes. The way they move and talk is so lively, it is as if they talk to someone else. An invisible friend, perhaps? Edward had heard stories of how kids fantasy runs wild, but as the traditional, conservative man he was, he wasnt willing to tolerate whatever behavior was not normal for him.
Brittney insisted that its nothing serious. Kids these days make things up just for fun, she believed.
Edward however engaged his sons and announced that he can not tolerate this any longer. Not only speaking to imaginary friends is annoying, iti is also embarassing and harmful for the family, so he thought. The kids said that those dolls are alive.
One night, he sneaked into the boys room and grabbed those supposedly "living" toys to hide them from the boys. They will now have to live without them.
He put the toys in his room
Little did he know, that those toys were actually alive
The very next day, the toys were nowhere to be found. An angry Edward entered the boys rooms during the night, he was suprised when he saw the toys just standing there.
Now this time he will hide them to his room and lock the door so the little rascals wont be able to break into his room and get the toys back
He even stood there for a while to make sure that they wont dissapear or anything. Then he slept
But the very next day, when Edward was out tending to his farm, the little magic happened again...
Edward blamed his sons for somehow breaking into his room and reclaiming their toys. He was so mad he lost the toys twice. He believed that the absence of social interaction for his children were partly to blame for this. The boys didnt go to school, as there was no school in the abandoned island.
Edward had a long, thoughtful shower trying to figure out what to do to distract the boys attention from their imaginary fantasy and get them to meet real friend, real people. He decided to try and bring the life back to the Winchester farming community. He remembered that there is a bar and a beach that attract a small amount of tourits to his island. If he finds a way to purchase the bar or the beach and make the island beach even more attractive he could possibly hire more workers who in turn will come and live there or even get wealthy people to build vacation properties in the island. That in turn could attract new amenities to the island; merchants, stories, libraries, a restaurant, even a school!
