Attack on San Myshuno

Couple days ago I went and bought the new decorator pack out of boredom
I wanted a romance pack,
they gave me Ikea pack...
Regardless, let's dive into it.
As first step,
I decided that I wanted to play the new character they associated this pack with:
Patina Wainscot.
I decided to move her to this nice little apartment in San Myshuno Fashion District that is not suspicious at all
but could surely use some loving hand.
I mean it has potential...
I was very sad she couldn't have the before and after montage of her own apartment but meh.
Anyway I decided she completely renovated this apartment
so I went with her likes: Orange,Yellow, Blue, Mid-century Modern...
basically wants to live at Ikea.
Gotcha.
I found way to move the bathroom despite the dum floor object you shouldn't be able to move mwahaha
but i did flip it around few times after this picture cause well, routing worries...
Anyways enough about me building stuff!
Because romance festival rolled around very nicely yes...
As always, Salim was there to greet, yes, they did in fact start flirting out of nowhere
I think Patina got a little crush on him
buuuut... it could just be the drinks.
she also met Marcus Flex after that
...buuut I decided she should probably go home clear her head for a bit
Next day, I had her do Kitchen for Fengs
who apparently have bad sense of direction
but they eventually made their way into the house
I tried to give them nicer kitchen
I just feel this space is rather oversized and id probably have normally flipped whole layout
either way Fengs were quite happy with results given i had set their likes and dislikes earlier so it was really no surprise they like it
their reactions? little overboard
(Victor pls it looks like ur talking to her nonexistent baby)
ok ok buddy i let you have your moment
...also Lily um should I be worried...
anyway Patina survived that gig with flying marks good for her
It was time to creep at town underneath and wonder where she should decorate next
and as it turned out Salim actually wanted a living room makeover... which dang I can't blame him.
his ideas were grand
...but his budget had me... going over... by thousand or so... oops.
but I really didn't want to leave it half empty...
regardless he loved it
maybe he gets to write a little now...
after that Patina had day off and
house started its complaints
it was verified sim can get to the electric box which is nice
and i also had nice scrub on that fun little mark on the floor
then she did additional room for Fengs and I chose to do their office
not much to say about it, they loved it again.
.... and somehow that resulted in them going to woohoo out of excitement??? i guess?
no one stayed to hear patinas speech.
sad, I wanted to at least tell em i didn't sell their podium.
Oh well, time to go home I guess
but at home there was new trouble...
wild Salim had appeared
he wore his nicest outfit and knocked on the door
Patina went to greet him ofcourse
only to get
wrecked i suppose.
I think our boi realized I went over budget
I'm sorry Salim I really am pls don't kill me on same spot with this weird outline
our girl managed to get out of the fight and Salim went to bathroom to cool off on his own
and to... read some crime books?
Hopefully not for inspiration.
I had Patina order some pizza because
a) at least there be witness to his crimes
and b) Patina didn't want to cook and she was hungry
but it seemed Salim had cooled off already
he came to apologize which tbh made Patina kind of angry cause mood swings much
the pizza had arrived so she went to get it
the pizza guy didn't seem too trustworthy either though.
but the pizza was lit
so lit in fact that Salims true plans became rather clear...
Yes. he had heard her ordering pizza and wanted some too.
''Get out.'' Patina whispered under her breath... and so Salim was gone.

You may be pleased to know that this story has pushed me over the edge - I must have the City Living pack! I want my Sims to go to festivals and live in their very own funky apartment. Next time there is a 50% sale I will have it!
Love this story, however I am waiting for the next 50% that will have the new gamepack $30 CND is a bit much for me lol
yeah its indeed on the possibility list
actually many city living premades look like they are matching with her which is funny
makes it feel like she was meant to be city living premade all along

I play autonomy off
(can't stand when my controlled sim defies me)
but this time I only played Patina so other sims did their own thing

Well no promises but hopefully yes if the game blesses me with something to share
I kind of want to give her a family as she is family oriented but I am still undecided who makes a good candidate as partner

The apartments are nice. I have many sims living there. And the festivals are nice too. And it has a lot of items I use elsewhere too.
New Morning
New apartment troubles...
Yesterdays pizza leftovers
Patina was ready to continue her design takeover...
but actually Salim woke her up inviting her over...
Patina really didn't want anything more to do with this dude but she talked herself into it
if only to put end to this nonsense
going in she saw Salim had finally started to work on his writing,
good for him i guess, but this isn't our interest in this visit.
Patina had been paid well for her gigs at Fengs
so she decided to just give Salim the thousand she went over budget
right, now he couldn't pester her about that anymore.
this made Salim very happy though
so he suggested a date, to which Patina obviously refused
Patina left confused Salim to be confused by himself and went home
on hallway, she ran into her neighbor, Penny Pizzazz
with who Patina has been making friends also
Penny was heading to spice festival so they went together
at festival she bought some stuff,
had some fun..
(penny really couldn't play basketball and got annoyed
but she also got to gossip about Salim with Penny who was very supportive
(do you perhaps have grudge on our boi too penny?)
Penny was also very interested in apartment makeover but we'll see
yes Vikram was rocking on the bg for money and i had to take screens
Patina donated to his cause
''hopefully you'll buy your daughter some toys with this i guess''
and after digging few boxes
our girl went home again
because next day she had renovations at Jangs new apartment

well,
it was a mess.
turned out they had just brought all the stuff from their old apartment with them and didn't know what to do with it
Patina promised them to do something about the mess though she was sure this gig wouldn't be completed at once
...their visions were also kind of all over the place..
but she just decided to go and see what they have first
and after many hours she had created something that resembled rooms again
Jangs were already pretty happy with results (i mean wow liveable)
but Patina promised them she will be back later to make more detailed interior plan if they'd like one
(really... that hug animation just looks inappropriate everytime
