I found the marker. I was NOT expecting it to be in decorations!

Great that you found it! I meant to say where it is located in my previous post.
It has a rather large footprint since the animations require that space, but I think it’s worth using the slot for the enjoyment you can get out of it.
I agree that an actual fencing/ sword fighting skill would be an excellent addition to the game and I can see it being similar to the lightsaber skill from JtB. Just without the lightsabers. 😅

I never bought JtB because the SW franchise is not something I'm into, I have to admit.

Now I know swordplay can be done outside of the acting career, I've got some ideas for when I go back to one of my paused saves though, and it will be helpful if I play a medieval theme again fot sure.

It would be a new game to play gently for adult and children (Parent-Child bonding activity).

I'd certainly buy The Sims: Butch and Bushy if it came with construction and motoring activities/jobs, grease stains and hair aplenty.

YES!!! I LOVE that idea they could have a men pack AND a woman pack yes they have enough stuff for girls but it might allow them to make man pack. and I think it could include fishing related things. my male sims like fishing, a lot.

What makes these man activities? Women can't be architects and construction workers?

    @chocolatefrosting
I believe the OP indicated in previous comments that these activities are not limited to men.

    Play hero/villain

The children like to imagine awesome fights with super powers and invisible enemies, unlike the adults they don't fight for real.

Because generally these activities are done more so by men how many female construction workers do you think there are compared to men? This game usually picks activities more so catered towards women and many of us want activities you would see men doing

I agree that these activities are not innately gendered. Clothing and activities don't carry any gender on their own, but only in the minds and imaginations of people. But because they carry gender in the minds of people, we have to be watchful for two potential injustices:

That of applying limiting stereotypes, and that of denying people their gender expression through their choice of appearance and activities.

If we aren't erasing gender and denying people their free expression of it, we shouldn't have a slant toward just one end of the gender spectrum, for available activities and appearances.

But to avoid inflicting limiting stereotypes, we want to avoid calling things "for men" and "for women" since anyone can do them or use them. Nonbinary people also exist, so limiting the game to the gender binary exclusively is also a problem. But we want to let people who play, express femininity and masculinity (or both, or neither) freely and at their own choice.

But you can't make a choice that doesn't exist.

So for this reason, there do need to be an equitable amount of ways to express masculinity in the game.

Haha. Whenever I discover a discussion dedicated to man male dude sims I get a little excited and feel the urge to share everything I want for man male dude sims, only to find out I already posted in that very thread about 50 times. 😅

It certainly means there’s still not enough for the boys. We’ll just have to keep at it. 💪🏼
