Q: How long did the process of adding the update take, from beginning to end?
Rachel Franklin: We started talking about expanding Create A Sim around a year ago. There was a big art effort involved, in addition to some technical prototyping, as we also wanted to make sure that the hands-on body manipulation looked great on any kind of body type. Not to mention, given the assortment of stories this update can facilitate, the team also worked very closely with GLAAD to assure that the update was authentic and respectful to the transgender community.

No mods installed? Those Batuu pants seem to be clipping at the ankles too. That’s all very curious.
I do have mods and my boys look grand. I didn’t know this was a 5 year old Basegame glitch...😬
I just went through every single non-CC male 'bottom clothing' item I have and was unable to find anything with the above issue.
What are your fitness and weight sliders set to? Though I did move mine around and was unable to get clipping with Maxis made items - my CC items frequently clip when away from the 'ideal' they were made for and that ends up being a reason why I delete some CC.
Also... why is the subject line about gender options? I read this and expected a discussion about non-binary sims, and got pants. /confused.

The fact is, the conversion process they use to convert feminine clothes onto a masculine frame, or masculine clothes onto a feminine frame, just isn't very good.
Box boobs, missing groins, it all looks terrible.
I would LOVE to make a trans or nonbinary Sim, but the sad truth is the game makes them look like they're smuggling an egg carton under their shirt.

I never use the option but that needs a serious fix.

I hardly pay attention to details like this. It's only a few weeks since I learned that we can have masc/fem body frame
I think when giving us the option to use all clothes on all sims, Maxis just never bothered to change the meshes at all. 😞
