    Should base game bundle early packs into it for all players to own now?

      If I did not buy a pack, then it's because I don't want what's in it. I am not gonna want it for free either, least of all as a forced basegame update.

      MMO games have DLC too by the way. So not all MMOs are free. I think Minecraft beats the Sims in DLC with all their versions of "kits". I think why the Sims 4 is pushing the DLC so much is because they want the Sims 5 to be a MMO like they tried with the Sims 4, so expect even more microtransations if it goes that route.

      No remember the backlash from the free hot tub last year? If old packs were added to the basegame the backlash would be so much bigger than last years hot tub. Also not everyone wants all the packs. I do think for sims 5 the basegame should include weather and pets.

      No. But packs like Seasons (or rain at least) or features like apartments should be considered for future base games.
