I’d like an archer range and shooting range but not neccesarly as a lot type, but a function in other lots and in the club system like bowling is, Maybe it could be considered a skill, and considered for the art center as well.
I really love the idea of multipurpose lots, they did have shopping centres (mall) on one of the surveys a while back so must be do able, that could be a good way to introduce multipurpose lots, I would love to be able to put a cafe and restaurant etc in my shopping centre, I hope if they add shopping centre also that your sims have to buy all their clothes, it could also add a salon, tattoo parlor etc with this
So many nice ideas for lots. I don't have any to add.
The ones I want most are :
- hotels: done like restaurants where you can use them as a visitor or own them
- cemetery: I usually use a generic lot or a park but a proper cemetery would be better.
- grocery stores: combined with an update to stock fridges in sims 2 style, no more fridges with a never-ending stock of food inside, you actually have to fill them.
- a new type of venue to run with a ticket machine like we had in sims 2. Customers don't have to buy stuff but pay to be on the lot or use the items. That way we could run a public lot like a pool, bowling alley,...

What, Batuu is not fun or themed enough?
Well, it would be nice if they partnered with Disney and made a Disney world map of the park instead of just using and reusing their Star Wars IP.
Heck, I'd be happy with a Florida or california with whale watching tours and shops on the boardwalk. Anything!!
New venues aren’t very high on my list, honestly. Pretty much anything I want I can make, and I have no interest in things like hair salons or nail places or whatever. The one thing I can’t seem to make is a senior center, so I’d like that.
I'm not one to really dwell on previous games but I would really love to see the return of salons/tattoo parlours though. I would love to send sims to go get their hair, make-up even outfits done especially before big events/holidays and possibly have some new hairstyles/makeup/clothes that are only available at the salon. If nothing else though I think I would like the option to go and get a tattoo from a tattoo parlour, I honestly forget they're in the game and never use them. Plus it just feels too jarring from a storytelling perspective to be able to put on tattoos in a bathroom mirror.
You can already make clothes shops (retail with mannequins) and buy your clothes. I recommend LMS Retail Overhaul mod so you can edit mannequins as a customer, then purchase the outfits.
If you want cinemas and arcades, she has a mod for those too.
I'd like:
Cemeteries - To place the dead, hold graveside services and visit post-mortem to socialise with ghost.
Youth Clubs (kid & teen hangout) - Have NPC Counselors/Mentors to help kids with homework, school projects and skill building, as well as games and activities that kids/teens can do. Perfect place for kids on a budget or those with busy or uncaring parents.
Senior's Day Centre (elder hangout) - Have NPCs such as a Nurse to get checkups and an Activities Organiser. Attend craft classes, pampering sessions, light exercise, board game nights and bingo (or Mysuno) etc.
Senior/Retirement Home/Village - A place where seniors can move to when they give the house to the next generation. Has staff to clean and maintain the place, optional meals, full apartment or room choice for residents and activities similar to the Senior Centre.
Theatre - A generic space where sims can attend acting/musical/comedy performances and listen to lectures on various topics which give a variety of buffs based on traits. Could be used for academic lectures, religious sermons, entertainment etc. Very versatile lots type that has sims paying attention to those in the performance space and socialising afterwards.
I've always wanted them to give us more for elders through end of life. Our elders deserve to enjoy their retirement, and our Sims deserve a place to lay their dead to rest. I really hope they'll give us funerals someday.

Wouldn't that be a spa with some fun activities like knitting, painting, light yoga, massages, book reading, etc?
