A News/Announcement Section with News Disscussions beeing allowed? + Ignore Threads

Just like the titles says... Would make the General Disscussions category to be more organized. SimGurus on Twitter Thread could then also go in there. Picture Thread in the creative Corner? Story Gameplay in the creative corner ''Share your story''.


An option to ignore a thread, so you dont see it. Because it can become a eye sore. Cool Forum though, Happy Simming.

There is a "Dismiss" option for each thread. You just need to hover your mouse over on the right -hand corner next to the "Star" in the title box as that will bring up a cog wheel that you can click on that then will bring up the option to "Dismiss" the thread. Now I'm not sure how to bring the dismissed threads back if for whatever reason that you want to look at them.

Edit to say that this only works on the "Announcement" threads in each of the categories.
