Black Lightsaber?

so is the black crystal in JtB not suppossed to turn the lightsaber black?
Like every other crystal turns the lightsaber into the color of the crystal, but when I put the black one in it turns red and not black.
Or is this a bug?

No, it's a rare kyber crystal mined from a dark side temple that's infused with the power of the dark side. When powering a holocron or saber, it's red.

No, Its just in the rare. The Darksaber was an ancient black-bladed lightsaber. It had a unique blade that was shorter than that of most lightsabers, and shaped like a traditional sword. https://neonsabers.com/shop/double-blade-lightsaber/
