Are you serious EA?! $7 for a kit?!

I figured they were worth about $3 (CAD) but figured you'd charge $5 (CAD) but dang, $7 for a few items...

Am I crazy in thinking that's an insane asking price?!

They don't even function like The Sims 3 store where you can buy individual items and complete your set. I think these will replace Stuff Packs as the never on sale sets either.

I took a screenshot. As an aside, Canada always gets the short end of the stick; we can go to a store and buy an EP for the same price Americans pay. Not on Origin; we get charged $10-20 more.

    Being Canadian sucks.

I loved the Sims 3 store but I was happily expanding to a fantastic base game. I feel like I'm more blown away by this pricing because I don't think The Sims 4 has the underlying gameplay worth expanding.

It's 4.99 for the USA and I am fine with that. I only bought the Bust the Dust one.

Actually it's just the exchange rate, if they charge the same number in CAD and USD they're undercharging and you're paying less than everywhere else in the world if you can get them for that price. 40USD is 50CAD, 5USD is 6CAD, etc.

In Europe we pay the equivalent of 61CAD for expansions and these packs are the equivalent of 8.80CAD :s

No, I know. It's like this for everything here. Switch games are 90 bucks here.

Yeah, I knew as a Canadian there was no way I'd get a kit for less than $5. After they raised the price of EPs/GPs/SPs a couple of years ago to match the exchange rates I was pushed more to get add-ons exclusively when they go on sale.

As for kits I want vaccuming too much to care much about a few dollars off here or there lol. And at least it's cheaper than getting a combo meal at [insert fast food joint].

honestly the dust one doesn't look so bad i mean we got worse stuff packs for a more expensive price, but i'm upset that this is content that was most likely separated from a bigger pack. i think the reason Maxis agreed on doing kits for ts4 is that the game will start having performance problems due to being oversaturated, so separating content people can choose what to have on their game, but ea being the one with the last word probably decided the price, which btw is a shame.

Two Kits cost more than a Stuff Pack and they have significantly less content...

I don't understand why they didn't go with $5.99? With the current exchange rate $4.99 USD is about $6.29 CAD. I'm sure its more than just the exchange rate but still.

They're $7.99 AUD. So 2 packs are more than a stuff pack :(
Why didn't they just make is $5 in every country.

I mean I still bought Dust and Country....

But the question remains, will they ever go on sale? I have a feeling Stuff Packs might be on sale more often now and the Kits will either never go on sale, or only go on every once in a blue moon.

Gross. I didn't realize they'd be that expensive. No thanks EA.

A pack with a handful of clothes is not worth $5 or 7CAD.

Nope not crazy at all. I think most of the packs are overpriced - considering you can get other games that don't have as many bugs and more game play for the same amount as an expansion and only ever need that game.

I am tired of this nickel and diming us simmers for every last penny.
also from the looks of the kits, I think there are better CC kits out there that are free.

They cost $5 USD. This makes a lot of sense since Stuff Packs are $10 USD, Game Packs are $20 USD, and Expansions are $40 USD.

They've been harassing me like this for years.
All because I don't agree with their perverse wants for the game. They wanted puberty in explicit detail, and I said they were creepy for wanting that.
So now they try to deflect their perversions onto me.
