Did an Origin update break the game?

I have TS2 UC and I tried to launch it today. Origin (aka probably the worst thing in existence) had an update, so I updated. Now TS2 won't launch because of a missing Directx9 file or whatever. I've had this happen in the past, but this time NONE of the solutions are working. Anyone else experiencing this?

Don't want to go over steps you've already done in trying to troubleshoot.

I can't help you with that, but I had an error that said I had uninstalled Seasons and I should not proceed playing my game because all the weather stuff would be missing. I don't know how my pc could uninstall Seasons when it is part of the TS2UC. I had to remove my save, repair the game, start it up, run Graphic rule maker after it created a new EA TS2UC file and then remove the newly created TS2UC folder and replace it with my saved one. I think a MS update removed some stuff, no kidding, I also lost some of my documents after MS did an update the other day.
