I've never experienced Sims 2, only 3 & 4. But this reminded me of when we got Strangerville.
I heard that Sims 2 had the "jumping out of a cake" & "pole dancing". Maybe, they will make a comeback in Sims 4.

Cake dancers were in Sims 1. Sims 2 definitely did not have pole dancing, and I don't think any other Sims game does.

I miss from when Sims 1-3 could get a little raunchy. Obviously we need to stick to T for Teen but women are now entirely pixelated and it's really distracting.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.

Sims 3 was never "ranchy". However, I wouldn't mind if Sims 4 stopped catering to the age 6 & under when most of the players are over 16.

I kind of was. You could hire scantily-clad entertainers to dance for you at bachelor/ette parties. It also had storylines featuring marital affairs.

They might have mistaken the firemen sliding down the pole at the fire station for pole dancing in Sims 3.
