Sims Library wiped out again

I just bought a new computer and migrated my files from my old one. Sadly, my Library got wiped out again. It got wiped out once before for no apparent reason. I suspect there is a limit to the number of households and lots that should be saved. I just don’t know what that number is. Thank goodness the Saves still seem to be okay!

I did try all the suggestions for fixing my Library, but none of them worked.

That stinks! Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Updated game on new machine and both library and saves obliterated. Looking at folders showed they all had an X on the file icon. Got most of the library back by copying the old machine folder and loading it onto the new one., Odd it's not working for you.

You could make a backup of the tray files elsewhere on your computer. So long as the builds are placed in game, they do not need to be in the Tray/Library.

I keep mine separated in folders named as the build, and whenever I want that particular lot, I copy/paste the files into the Tray folder of my current user folder. I don’t keep many files in the Tray folder.

Before updating, maybe rename the user folder, to see if that makes a difference.

    Sorry about your builds.

    Thanks everyone. :)
I'm just so thankful that all the really important stuff was okay!
