Tab mode + following camera?

Is there any known way to have the camera follow sims in tab mode (like it does in normal mode when you right-click on a sim's picture), so I can watch and record them on the slopes of Mt. Komorebi without all the bars and notifications and other stuff on the screen? First-person view is not an option, since I want to see the sims themselves, too. I'm open to cheats and mods.

Have you tried unchecking Capture UI in the Video Capture settings? That's the closest I know about to what you're asking for.

That certainly helps! I don't usually use the game's own camera because of its low quality and forgot that option even exists. But I found a way to increase the resolution, and now I'm experimenting with that.

If you memorize a camera angle with numbers 5-9, the camera will glide over to that particular camera angle again, giving a panning effect. Good luck!
