This was a challenge I saw on instagram (IG:simmnice). The picture of the front of a building was provided and it had some crazy architecture so I had to try it! I made a replica of the front and the rest was a free for all.
It is now a single family penthouse type of home. 3 bedrooms, 4 full baths. Each bedroom has its own balcony. The two top floor bedrooms each have their own bathroom. The garage area on the bottom was converted into a home gym. Second floor is the living/dining/kitchen area. Third floor has a rec room and a smaller bedroom. Top/Fourth floor has two main bedrooms. Since its no longer in the middle of a city a backyard has been added with a sunken pool lounge!
@nali272 Thanks for keeping up with your challenges! The front of the penthouse is actually modeled after a real building, I will have to add the photos of it to the post for reference
This was my entry for the Build-n-Share Challenge in September (#141). Build a home with 84 or less tiles and under 35,000 and on a 20x15 lot.
This house has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a covered front porch, an open patio in the back and a balcony off the second floor bedroom. There is a little bit of a bush clipping through the wall, I didn't catch it before I posted it. The decorations are a little sparse due to the low budget but there is still plenty to do in the tiny home!
Thank you @Auroraskies ! I will eventually make more houses similar to the glass house (I was at one point going to make an entire newcrest town of similar builds but now that looks kind of daunting lol)
I am not sure of the name of the real building for the penthouse. I googled it and all I could find is a facebook page saying "located in Kashan, Iran, designed by Mohsen Abdollahi"

I turned it into a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house with a front porch and back patio. There are two entrances, a home office, music room and a fully landscaped back yard (which you really need to check out)
Small Home For a Small Family is a lovely tiny living family home! Very nice exterior design and wall textures, and lovely sitting area on front porch! The flowers along front path are pretty! Very nice balcony with easel and activities table for sims to enjoy painting and drawing.Lovely interior furnishings and layout! The wood texture of the furniture is very nice and lovely natural, calming colours.
Greener Pastures is also very lovely! The exterior design is very nice and great wraparound porch! Very lovely green colour scheme of the interior! The furnishing of each room and area is very nice! I was looking at your tour of the home, and it was pretty that you took a photo with a butterfly in the picture
Small Sunroom is a very lovely sunny sunroom! The yellow color scheme is pretty and the sun wall decor is great! Lovely windows sofa seatiing nooks to enjoy reading with nice sunshine coming in onto the sims.The candles on the tables are calming. The plants pedestal, vertical row of plants, and vase of blossoms are nice touches of nature, and the hanging herbs are nice. Very nice homely floor rug
I was just experimenting with placing items under a lofted bed and once I started I realized I definitely wanted to finish it but didn't know what to do with the outside.....So I turned it into a kind of hidden gem lot. The outside gives the appearance of a run down or maybe even abandoned building but the inside is new and modern.
Moveobjects must be on when placing and the build has been play tested.
Fashionista Studio Loft is a very nice loft home! The old brick exterior texture, piping, and the wooden crates combined with the stylish interior furnishings looks great! Very nice interior design! The blue and white colour scheme is very nice, and great open plan interior layout of the kitchen, dining and living room. The tv wall area is very nice with the shelving and items under the tv. The loft bed area is lovely! The string lights on the walls are pretty and the heart teddy is cute!
I love the exterior wall of Fashionista Studio Loft. It looks so rustic! Is that CC? The interior looks so immaculate and cozy! I love the blue and white color scheme. The hanging plants are a nice touch. I also like how you used the fairy lights! Very creative!
@DeKay Thank you! Once I was done building it I just wanted to curl up on the bed and relax lol. The exterior wall paint I believe comes with the City Living pack
