Have a family and the husband is in the salary person career. He was working overtime so didn't get home til about 9pm. Family was just finishing dinner when he arrived and a curious autonomous reaction occurred. He gave his wife a gift. When I hovered over it it says 'give apology gift'.
Really unexpected I guess a gift for him working so late? Either way it was really cute. Already been yelled at by her teen's boyfriend that she broke up with after getting into a fight and her youngest child that went into a phase.
Even though it's the usual dance we're use to with 'dance to company anthem' when in the salery person career an actual anthem does play when the sim does and they get an inspired moodlet. If you switch to another sim you won't be able to hear it so they're just awkwardly dancing with no music.

I only took a Sims there once and went back to building. Playing on my Star Wars save that I've been using. I don't use mods only cc for CAS by the way. No worries at all for now. I'll look into what the issue is later once I finish re-building some of the lots and placing Sims. Thank you,

Oh, my goodness - the anthem thing is too funny. Sounds like they got the 'salaryperson' career right. (We call it 'drinking the corporate kool-aid'.)
@invisiblgirl I do feel sorry for my sim working long hours. Even when I met expectations in the career it took alost two sims days to be promoted, wonder if that's by design?
On another note, squeemish sims won't sleep in caves or drinking water from them if you take them on a mountain excursion. Guess they're gonna perish.
One of the showers had broken and water started getting everywhere along with sims leaving trash about. Noticed a sim all in white cleaning up and over their head it mentioned they were custodian.
I like this. Wish this feature was applied to certain community lots. (unless they are as I don't see most lots getting too dirty)
Sims with the Adventurous trait, play "hyper accelerated dragon opening" instead of chess on the chess board and can "vigorously guarantee plant life's future" instead of tend garden. I like these text changes to make the trait feel fuller.

Because of this I make sure my sims have a tent in their inventory and a campfire cause those are not guranteed to be there.
Sims with the thrill seeker lifestyle get a +10 happy buff when there is a fire on the lot. They are pyromaniacs essentially.

Though will sims with this lifestyle be immune to death by fire? Looks like it's something that has to be tested out...

in the pool, to bed etc. I was maddening until I took him on a climb and when I clicked on the gear to use it said already
being used. And finally I had my answer.

When putting it on my elder sim, I've noticed how elders bow less than younger sims do.

Just make a call via phone and your sim will leave disappearing via rabbit hole to go teach a skiing class and will be back after some hours.
I've just discovered that when elders slip and fall (during blizzards or icy conditions), they take longer to recover than younger sims do.

If it's icy your sim can't make snow angels in the snow.
