You can get Thundersnow in the mountain region

Simmers who don't have seasons will still get Icy Conditions,Blizzards and Thundersnow

Ok honestly I'm not a fan of them adding weather conditions with the pack, I don't mind snow being on the ground but weather conditions is literally one of the main features of seasons.....

In this pack if you don't have Seasons those conditions are limited to the mountain. No other worlds will get them.

That doesn't change anything though, it's still a seasons feature being taken out and put into another pack.

That's not too bad in a way. If you want to escape the heat, you know for sure that there is snow in Mt. Komorebi. It rains a lot in may game and I would love to know that if I go to another neighbourhood I am guaranteed to find sunny weather. I think we need some sort of advance weather forecast for all worlds.

Yeah it can suck when I decide to take my family to Sulani for a sunday swim, only for the weather to be stormy.

Yes I want to see how the whole world looks in snow. I'll probably put a weather machine in the south part of the map.

    Ooh. That's a fact I like.
According to this article from The Sims Community, the indoor footwear rules can also be set with shoe racks (the decoration item that comes with the base game). So you don't need a big sign to say no shoes allowed. You may just have a shoe rack and it will do the same job.

That makes me think actually: will indoor footwear rules come with an update? Only time will tell I guess.

Oh, of course! I have to share the message from time!

I've tested it out. No, it didn't come from the update. The expansion pack is required.

That is actually a really nice touch. I suspect they don't change when you edit things, which is a shame, but that is still a nice feature added in a free update.

    Some bits of pack cross-play
    https://simscommunity.info/2020/11/12/the-sims-4-snowy-escape-opening-up-gameplay-with-other-packs/
Some were mentioned around on these forums already.
I like fantasy and a bit of Sci-Fi. Want to know what I'm reading?
I also like wandering the hills.

Sometimes you won't ever get an item from a vending machine as it can take your money and won't give you anything making your sim pretty irritated.

Also, when other sims use the vending machines autonously (npc's and the like) you can get the opportunity to shake the machines and possibly get a free item without having to pay for it, but there's also a chance it may fall on your sim too. My sim shook the machine a bit and she did get something and possibly a mild concussion. XD

The heaters work. They have an auto thermostat you can turn on and you can upgrade them to fireguard.

It can snow in the south part of the map. Saw it on SimsCommunity Early Access.

You can use boats in the swimmable lake to include the sailboats and jet skis if you have Island Living.

We can schedule a vacation or event in MT K on the calendar if you have Seasons.

Did you Know? Toddlers can fall off when sledding.

I didn't know this was a thing.....I had a good laugh, but ultimately felt so bad about my toddler Jase hitting the snow face down. But luckily he wasn't hurt.

Sled starting to wobble....look at Jase's face...he looks so scared; poor thing

    Proper sims can court
    Koi will be fishable

What do you mean they court? What does that involve?

Ooh... There are two Simmies figures that refrence to The Sims Medieval: the pit beast and the medieval Grim Reaper.

Did you know sims can knit in the hot spring?
I laughed when my sim started autonomously knitting as her needles were in the water 😆.

Knowing this, I bet sims can knit in hot tubs, too.

Dating someone with the intention of marrying. At least that's what I hope the devs were going for. Probably doesn't give a special moodlet or anything if a proper sim has their relationship dissolve.

Did you know - sims who refuse to shower before entering the onsen cause it to get dirty. A "clean" option then becomes available.
(Or maybe it gets dirty from time to time? Anyway, in my game it happened after two such pigs went in unshowered. Edit: Not the two in my avatar!)
