Why did "things you didn't know" get buried?

I was enjoying the "things you didn't know" thread but, I feel I'd be necroposting if I boosted it again. so starting fresh. what is something you didn't know about in the sims?

I didn't know that spellcasters while playing Rags to Riches could repairio the furniture found in dumpsters from Eco Lifestyle for free.
