I'm looking for a "ruined" world, like with very dirty/old houses, and damaged parks, like it's post war or a disaster or something. Something that requires renovation. I'm not sure how to call this or how to search this type of thing. Any ideas (if you know CC worild like this / how should I search)?

I like this one.I used it for a story where a Tornado destroyed a town.

I knew about them and downloaded anyway, intending to remove them. After removing 40+ emitters from one single lot, I gave up and uninstalled. I couldn't bear the thought of the mind numbing chore of removing at least 20+ emitters from every lot in the world.
Edit - I suspect that once you fill the world with sims, it may lag like mad, but I didn't even go that far. Just the sheer amount of emitters with laggy fog was enough to put me off. It's a shame because it's quite well done.

Just assume that every edit I make is because of typos.
Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~
It´s called Woeford and is made by my favourite creator Norn in collaboration with simsmidgen
It´s a very well made, run down world without population.

It´s a really well thought and well made world, better routing than most EA worlds have.
I think this suits you for your apocalyptic games, because the houses have are very run down feeling. Have fun in throwing meteors on it!

By the way, Nikkei_Simmer, I really had a feeling this was asked before. (I guess that's what's good about playing The Sims 3 in 2020 )
I really liked "Arcadia", I feel like it suited the most for my purpose (which is to enjoy renovation). I like that it has small population, and the world itself is very small. The houses all have an old vibe, so it was fun. The downside that the houses are very small, and with non-standard sizes (like 10*15) so I don't think I'll use the lots I renovated in other worlds.
Regarding other worlds - I had a chance for only a quick peek, all look really great though, I definetly need to explore them more.
