I think my cat get jealous when I am playing the computer. She will often meow and try to jump on the arm of the chair or up behind me if I am sitting forward. Either jealousy or wanting to know what is so fascinating...
Not on my desktop. My cat Zelda would rather trample everything on the desk, knock over the speakers, and/or demand cuddles. Doesn't matter what game I'm playing... It's hard to play with a kitty draped over your mouse arm asking for scratches and pets. If there's another animal on any screen then she leans in real close and wheezes.
Zelda loves watching my husband play console games in the living room though. She will sit right in the middle of the huge TV screen mesmerized by all the action... then flops on top of the soundbar. It's a little annoying because it's hard to see! but I only stop her if she's attacking the screen.
My cat really couldn't care less. She does, like Simplyjen said, place herself on my mouse arm and squint up at me....purring. See, she manages to make me pause the game and give her cuddles. I'm a push-over.
Sometimes he comes and he takes a video or a screenshot. Usually he somehow turns airplane mode on.
Anyway, most of the time he comes and realizes that this is too exhausting so he just takes a nap so he can be ready to bully us at night.

not during the sims, my male rabbit seems to be more into horror games (he set next to me looking at the screen when I played one for quite some time), my female rabbit has more important things to do...
Not really. I had a cat, Sandokan, that sadly passed away in January, and who used to rest his head on may mouse hand if he thought I spent too much time on the computer. My other cat, Felix, meows and paws me if he needs my attention, otherwise he just sleeps nearby on the floor or the couch.
They come over whenever I used my laptop. I stopped immediately and play with them instead. I return to play once they sleep. I prefer not to get disturbed and give all the attention to them if they come over. Else, they will mind their own business.
My dogs used to be happy when I sat down at the computer as it meant I would be at home for some time and they went to sleep on the sofa. As soon as I looked about to get up though, their eyes were on me as it either meant feeding time or a walk! They'd rather look out of the window than at the TV or PC. I think they were longsighted and couldn't see the screen properly but could see a ball lying in the grass a long way off. Hunters both!
Hahaha Sometimes. But I have cats and I think they get jealous when I am focused more on the PC than the cat. They do get more curious if other animal sounds suddenly come from the PC though. Then they have to investigate.

I don't have a cat, hubby is allergic, but once in awhile both of my Beagles will come flying upstairs to 'check' on me. LOL I have yet to see them watch me play the game, however.

She may not be technically cute, but I think she is. My laptop is set up next to her cage and she slides off her basking rock to stare at it whenever I play. She loves to watch my sims run around on screen, but maybe more along the lines of food....
Her name is Esmerelda and she is a bearded dragon
And she is SOOOO nosy.
Yes, two of my cats would watch me play until they fell asleep. They don't do it much anymore but they did when they were younger. Also, my chihuahua-yorkie mix would watch the screen when I was creating a dog in CAS. My pitbull would if he could fit on my desk .
Well, it's hard to say. My cat comes near my computer and router because they're warm. She usually sleeps, gets on my lap and sleeps and purrs, and steps on my keyboard despite it being forbitten. She does occasionally look at the screen, nuzzle the screen, but most of the time she sleeps.
By the way, the pictures shared in the discussion are cute. I love cats. And the lizard one is awesome, too, @sarabeth2984 .

Your beardie is adorable!! That's a nice setup you have for her. I lost my bearded dragon Gilbert this year. He was 10 years old.
