I think it’s going to be a destination world, centering around romance and weddings. I think one destination neighborhood will be winter/snowy, another beaches, and another destination. I see it with casino’s lots of new romance interactions, being able to pick wedding and brides maids outfits, bouquets etc, and bridal showers.

If not that, then maybe generations type pack with things for each life stage.

I was hoping for a farm pack, but by what Lyndsey said, it won’t be that. But then she said there wouldn’t be an update on babies, and I figured that would come before generations.

I personally think it's a romantic winter vacation pack, coming with a switzerland like mountain world, activities like skiing, sledding, snowboarding, new romantic interactions and a hotel system. I really like the idea, but I desperately need some family content and I can already see kids not being able to ski or only 2 Sims being able to sled/ski together etc... And we had so much content for YA/A and 2 Sims already, that I really think we need more group activities that also include the younger life stages too...

Watch them having toddlers not being able to ski/sled at all. And watch them making the hotel system unable to be used in residential worlds. ^^

I don't want to be so negative. I really thought this game was moving forward after toddlers were released. I personally liked MFPS. Should it have been in Cats and Dogs? YES. But I still liked it ^^. The Star Wars Pack though was the worst choice they could have made. And it's not even a good pack. SimGuruLindsay said on Twitter she thinks the game can be both: a trendy adventure simulator and a life simulation. And that they wanted to cater to all kinds of playstyles. But sorry: I guess people playing The Sims goal-oriented are the minority...

She clearly does not understand what this game is and why people love it. I hope that SimGuruConor gets to make more decisions. His knitting pack is great and made with so much love and respect to the community. He really knows and understands what we want and see in the game.

I agree, Knifty Knitting is a great stuff pack. I mean, compare this to Luxury Party... I happily spent 10€ in this pack and I've been enjoying it a lot. I also hope SimGuruConor gets to work on bigger packs.

You guys are the majority, it's us Occult Simmers who are the minority, who are the majority of the packs catered to, the realism simmers, Plant Sims are a joke, Skeletons aren't permanent, Fairies are now familiars, Ghosts have needs that they shouldn't have, Mermaids and Aliens seem Meh, Vampires and Spellcasters get their own skill trees, and we're still missing Werewolves, Genies, Mummies, your Babies and Cars can wait until we get more Occults and they fix the ones we already have.

I would love a winter mountain world with new romance interactions & resorts.
I still really want Werewolves as well.

I wouldn't say occult players are a minority. There might be not as many occult players as there are realism players, but this wasn't meant to be an occult vs. realism players kind of post in the first place. Occult players are very often family everyday life players too, they just like to spice it up with the occults. So I don't see us as being so different.

I hope for you guys that you'll get more occults. You've been let down just as much as the family players have. You got two (!) good GPs: vampires and ROM. And we got one (!) good GP: parenthood, and some packs came with some activities for kids, but oh dear, not many... So it's not like one has been treated better than the other.

In the end, almost every kind of playstyle is missing stuff except perhaps for those who open the game occasionally and enjoy the shallow collect this collect that, go here, go there kind of gameplay... Which are the minority.

I think we're probably going to be surprised but if I had to guess and seeing as they've said it's not farming it could be similar to number 1 as in some sort of winter theme vacation world as we near winter ourselves in the northern hemisphere but I don't think that we'll get to live there. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but they seem to be quite conservative on giving us too many liveable lots, probably for performance reasons.

Other based off SimGuruNinja's Tweet with the Flirty Plumbob. I think it's going to be a Romance Based Pack or a Winter Retreat Vacation with Romance,Resorts and actual Honeymoons.

Sadly though Maxis hasn't yet given us more then 1 destination in a pack in TS4.

If we are going into space with Batuu I wouldn't mind getting a bit of romance now with something like a Royal, Regency or medieval world of some sort. We have the Princess Cordelia bed and we need Princess Cordelia to have her own world to play in and elope in!

I always guess wrong though. It'll probably be Sims Olympics or something like that. We could get a horse with that maybe! :'(

I love Luxury Party, I know many people dont seem to, but I actually do.

Edited to add that I wasn't a fan of knitting before it came out, I wanted happy haunts. Then when artsy things won i had originally thought you would have gotten the other things with knitting( I often forget how much comes which type packs so maybe that's why, that and there were other cool ideas too) like the glass blowing. I like using my knitting more than I thought I would.

It's a casinos, romance, and elders expansion pack!

That's it, that's my bet. The signs are there in the Spark'd challenges and the latest elope option in the patch.

I may be seeing what I want to see, but let's make it happen!

    Gorillaz perform well too:

I have said this before and completely agree all the little details SimGuruConor got in a stuff pack is amazing. I quit playing because the game so repetitive with no real change but if they ever do a worthwhile base game patch the Knitting pack will be a instant buy for me because its got the detail every pack should get be it expansion or stuff pack tying in multiple packs and including all life stages.

Would love a time travel pack, with the option to go choose a futuristic world or a medieval world. Futuristic world would include hover cars, horse and carriage in medieval world, awesome futuristic/medieval build/buy and the chance to come back to warn your sims of future events. Maybe some butterfly effect, where if you do something while in the past, it will impact on your sim in the present. These might better fit game packs though than an ep. You could effectively put adapted versions of the Sim 3 Into the Future and the Sims Medieval into two different game packs.

    I have absolutely no idea....
personally I would love music especially bands, anything adding couples dance, a winter world and well....
I really, really want a fantasy/occult EP, with a bigger occult world and a new lifestate (werwolves or fairies or what have you)

    But idk
probly no si-fi stuff cause SW, and also no destination world (cause again: SW; though Batuu doesn't work like the other vacation worlds, so who knows?).
Def no cars, farms or babies.

    so..yeah, we'll see.

if they did do a time travel themed pack for sims 4 I hope we get to romance our descendants, we can already romance our great great grandchildren, and if we have vampire sims we could romance our future selves.
