Or my garden is no longer a garden because the bug has yet to be fixed. But that clay and cube spawning is annoying.

I really don't think these are bugs and it is how the gurus wanted the NAPs to be. It's so frustrating and needs fixing but I hold no hope these NAPs will be fixed to how we would prefer them to be.

I'm so done with the devs right now. I don't mind the new stuff, but can we PLEASE get what we're asking for? Or at least tell us it's impossible to run on the game engine? The game is losing it's original charm.

This patch is very... So anyway, you guys have any mod suggestions for Sims 3? I wanna fire it up this weekend, if I don't have work.

I was hoping for them to fix gardening already. I wonder what's the problem with it that makes it so difficult to fix. :(

Better story progression is great! Job overhaul is also good if you like more risk when applying for a job. (Which, I'm a realist player so it's a must have.) I've only used mods to improve my game, but I think there's a thread for awesome TS3 mods somewhere around here.

Yeah, can't say I'm happy with this patch at all... It literally fixes nothing... Very disappointing  I just don't understand... it's such a big patch tho... over 800MB for what? Stacking windows?

I know a lot of you only do live mode. But its not fair to disregard requests for build mode stuff. A lot of builders were "asking for this".

Its not just stacking windows, which yes, is nice for us as builders. I can now more easily design the exact home i want to. Sure, its no big whoop to a lot of you. But its not a completely unwanted or senseless update.

@Truecrime_addict Actually I think it’s the lack of fixes that really bother the people complaining.

We don’t even have gameplay depth. The sims is suppose to be a “life simulator” but clearly the gurus don’t even know what the sims is suppose to be anymore. The sims 4 is more about the dressing of things but no real gameplay depth. There’s no middle ground & rather then fixing the actual issues (bugs) of the game they give an update to windows which was already available by using BB.moveobjects. The priorities of the gurus are all wrong .

No, the NAP is supposed to temporarily spawn the clay and cubes but remove them afterwards. The bug is that these items accumulate in sim's inventories instead of being removed.

The spawning is a confirmed bug.

Um , no. Thats incorrect. With MOO, the windows will still glitch and often still snap back into place. Im telling you as a fact, thats why many builders still wanted this .

Also, the sims is not just about live mode builders. Sims has always had players with multiple different play styles. There isnt one single thing the sims is "supposed to be" .

MOO literally does not fix the issue of windows glitching when placed "too close" together. I use MOO constantly, i have a mod to enable MOO permanently. MOO opens up a lot of possibilities, but it does not allow window stacking and if you stack them, one will be "broken". I can show pictures to prove that of you'd like :)

That’s a minor issue & not game breaking compare to actual bugs in the game. Oh I know they even said that the sims can be many things but it can’t even excel at one thing anymore.

Whats a minor issue to you, can really be invaluable for others, who dont play the sims exactly like you.

For many the building aspect IS how they play the sims 99 percent of the time. And builders arent somehow less important. ???

Is there any mod that helps with this? I so want to use the naps :(

    @telmarina Yes, here: https://simvasion.wordpress.com/portfolio/eco-lifestyle-interactions-fixes/

But the last time I tried it, the items were still accumulating so your mileage may vary. Hopefully Simvasion has fixed it since then. He also says that the mod might not catch all instances of the spawning, but it should help.

Definitely not a good week for the sims. An announced DLC that wasn't well received, no celebration for the sixth anniversary and a patch with very little fixes.

    Yikes!
