Does stuff pack 18 change anything for you?

«13
I am just curious. I was... Disappointed (?) with GP9, which isn't even out yet, and it seems I am not the only one. However, now there has been a "leak" of a new SP. I am curious if that has changed anyone's feelings, whether you liked GP9 or not.

Personally, the pack themes have felt lackluster to me this year and I doubt an SP will make me feel any differently about Sims 4's 2020, but we will see.

For me it is way to soon for me to tell if I like the new stuff pack. It all depends on the theme of the pack. Right now we don't have a name, logo or theme. But I would like another stuff pack. I enjoyed the last stuff packs.

Edit : here is a link about the leak. This one doesn't have any info on the theme of the pack.

I feel like this poll is slightly premature considering we have no idea what SP18 is. But I know it's not going to even scratch the surface of what is lacking in this game so on that basis it's a thumbs down from me.

I haven't even seen the game pack live mode yet. I am always excited for new content. It expands the buy/build and CAS modes. They introduce new game play and worlds. For now I am happy. Need more information to really form an opinion about either.

That is impossible to answer when we have no idea what the sp is and haven't all the info on the gp yet.

The last year of releases has taken out any excitement I could have for a random new pack all the themes have been horrible I don't see that changing. A stuff pack is coming at some point shocker most likely will not be anything people have actually been requesting for years and years.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

Have they mention what the new stuff pack is yet? I’m neutral about the game pack at this point. I would be really excited if they give us a casino ( with casino games) and a hotel lot we can use in vacation worlds or home worlds.

I've still lost out on a bigger game pack. A stuff pack would feel like a tiny consolation prize, and that's assuming it's something I like.

The correct answer for me would be: Not happy about GP9, neutral to SP18. Stuff Packs have never been the stuff (pun totally intended) to make or break the game for me, so the news that we're going to get a new one at some point in the future (which I never doubted anyway) does not change how I feel about GP9, or the simming year 2020 in general. I mean, we don't even know what it is yet; could be something cool, or another My First Pet disaster.

But as little as I care about Star Wars, I don't think this year was a disappointment at all. Not as great as 2018, which gave me some of my favourite packs, but pretty good overall. I think Nifty Knitting is one of the few SPs that are actually worth their money, and while Eco Lifestyle wasn't love at first sight for me, it did grow on me once I started playing it myself. SP18, whatever it is, will not change any of that for the better or the worse.

Too early to tell, but right now I don't really want to buy more packs. And stuff packs does not tend to improve the game in any large way because they are so limited. I would buy it if it would be something related to cars because I would really like cars for the sims4. If they would add cars with a free update and this would be a car stuff pack then I would probably buy it, otherwise. No.

I can’t tell if I’m happy about a SP when I don’t know its theme.

Now we already have a lot of SPs......if this was a Teen SP I’d be happy.

A new stuff pack doesn't bother me, it's kind of expected they keep coming. I don't know if I like it yet because we don't know what it is, but generally positive. Can't be worse than this GP.

I hate stuff packs so I'm always disappointed when they pile more into the game. I've barely bought any and I don't plan to buy any more. We have enough as it is.

This was the most useless leak in the history of leaks xD
We are all aware that they are working on new expansion/game/stuff packs all the time, so what this leak changed? Nothing

I'm pretty much happy with any and all new content. If not immediately, then after a while. But that is not to say that I don't want bugfixes or think they aren't important.

Do we even know what the new stuff pack is? I was under the impression that it was just a placeholder with a generic price.

I quit getting excited about any new content. I have been more skeptical about all since City Living.

I'm not interested in the Star Wars pack, it just does not fit my gameplay or interests. I'm not very interested in outer space or Star Wars. Even though I wanted a science center, this pack does not fit my personal interests though I don't mind it for others.

About SP18, I do not yet have an opinion. I would need to learn about the specific content of the pack. I do not have a problem with the concept of stuff packs. They are a low price and allow more customization if a player wants that. Without knowing more, I do not know if I am interested in this one.

Open for both. Hopes for SP: Bath Room Stuff, Male Chicness, My First Farm (with chicken), 70s Stuff.

The pack was titled "PH", any guesses what the initials could stand for? Of course could just be a stand-in...

Or perhaps "Physical Hotness" for a romance pack <3

Yeah...I don't know why I didn't think that, that's likely what it is.
