- More costumes for adults/kids! A bumble bee costume with bee antennas as a hat would be so cute.
- Special interactions for Vampires/Spellcasters if you use spooky day as a holiday!
I would love to see more 'party' type decor. Also, more fall type decor in general. More pumpkins, leaves, pumpkin pies, bushels of apples... that kind of thing.

I want my sim kids to actually be able to go trick-or-treating. You can see other houses or businesses around yours, so why can't it SIMULATE that they're trick-or-treating. The festival from Sims 3 would be a cool addition. Fall vendors, bobbing for apples, haunted house. I'd even love a carnival like Sims 1 Makin' Magic with a fortune teller, magic show, creepy roller coasters, etc. Honestly, my wants aren't small. I'd love to see an overhaul or update to all of the holidays that make them more interactive and interesting.

also this 100%
but indeed if you start with makin' magic there is so many cool things that probably don't fit in ''small update''
bobbing for apples
this would be nice too I wish we had more random activities like this
also thinking something like ouija board would be sweet but idk if it goes beyond ''small update''
haunted house
but I wish it could be real one not that rabbithole like ts3
: ( like id rather just have build items to make haunted house and maybe ghost updates

I love that idea. They could give us a seance table or a game board that can be placed on a dining table or coffee table. It could summon ghosts, flicker the lights, levitate objects, or something along those lines. I was disappointed that carving pumpkins was part of an SP instead of the EP.
well we got bonehilda and more pumpkins and pumpkin pie in packs so
next up in pumpkin related id update spooky stuff so sims can carve pumpkins anywhere they wish instead of needing station for it per say (i really preferred how in ts3 sims would just sit on ground and start carving)
and i also wish theyd make the CoL ones possible to carve if you have spooky stuff but that might be bit complicated
since they are doing pack refreshes it would be nice time to update rom or vampires as well with some missed b/b, cas and gameplay
Did you know anything about upcoming Halloween updates?
Several of the things I posted waaaay back in September of 2020 did make their appearance in the game since then. I dont know why this old post was resurrected unless someone liked something else in my list.
“All mushrooms are edible, but some only once.” Terry Pratchett

I just want more options for the "wear costume" action for holidays in Seasons--especially for toddlers. I always make a "Spooky Day" in my year, with wearing costumes one of the main things to do, but the costume options for that are very limited. I've been using a mod to unlock more of the options in the costume category--tho, there isn't actually any mod that unlocks ALL the costumes I would want to use--but there's no real help for toddlers that don't even really HAVE any costumes made for them in the first place. (plus just cause there's a mod for it doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed in the actual game lol).
Also, making it so kids you're playing can actually go trick or treating. There's a 'Trick or Treat' holiday thing of course, but that mostly just makes OTHER household's kids come to your door so the grownups there can GIVE them treats. Which I like! But, there's no way for MY sim's kids to do anything like that. Even tho the holiday bar thing says kids "love" trick or treating, they can't actually go trick or treating, or even "ask for treat" like in the spooky party. The only ways for them to fulfil that for themselves is to either do mischief interactions, or give a "freindly gift" themselves...which is fine I guess? Like, it's doable I suppose, but you kinda lose that whole "kids going trick or treating"...thing. Heck, I'd even take a rabbit hole that kids and teens could on, and maybe with some special "candy" items that could get added to the game they could return with, with variables on how successful a haul they get. Y'know, if building a whole "travel to house to house to ask for treats thing" is too much to ask. But really, probably the simplest thing would be to just unlock the "ask for a treat" function in spooky parties to go with the trick or treat holiday action for that day.

Yes!!! I would love Bonehilda, but if I had to choose, this festival would win over anything, loved that!

This is what I'd like to see for Happy Haunts
Halloween falls in spring here. Meaning autumnal themes aren't quite right.
They should include some swooping magpies, cos it's swoopin' season here.
