There seems to be an embargo on it for some reason, I read somewhere that even the game changers aren't getting their free copies until the release day. Maybe they don't wan to give the players the opportunity to talk about it beforehand because there has been a lot of negativity towards it.

Disney didn’t broker a collab with the Sims to release a paid advertisement just to have the development studio not advertise it. No.. this is the standard maxis damage control. They get themselves in sticky situations, make it worse, and then shut down until enough people have cooled down for them to start up with something different.
I wonder, how much poor recepction of new star wars movies influenced people not liking this pack. And i know someone will tell me that the problem is ea not listening and yada yada, but i think if movies were better overall hype around this pack would be much bigger. Ofc this will not change mind of people who feel like game need something else than sw gp.

SimGuruRomeo did the StrangerVille one in the studio and I wonder if they can't do a stream as they are all at home by themselves and refuse to do it alone without group moral support. I wouldn't!

can only speak for myself, but that is not what I said, I never claimed the people who dislike the pack are the minority, nor did I claim they are the majority either, because A. I don't really care and B. I don't actually know and neither do you.

can only speak for myself, but that is not what I said, I never claimed the people who dislike the pack are the minority, nor did I claim they are the majority either, because A. I don't really care and B. I don't actually know and neither do you.
Besides all that, the majority isn't always right
