These patches aren't cutting it lately :(

Is it just me or has the last few patches been horrible?
The such small amount of bugs addressed...
I am disappointed in you sims team.
FIX YOUR GAME!
Since Eco Living patches have BEEN so DANG small..

PC: 1.65.77.1020 / Mac: 1.65.77.1220

Console: Version 1.30

Spark'd Season One has come to an end, Spark'd Wedding Destination Challenge submissions have closed and you have picked your favorites, and we released the community voted pack - Nifty Knitting. Now we find ourselves here with a small update to tackle some issues including those that you reported to us after Nifty Knitting released.

SimGuruRusskii

Now onto the fixes:

Sims 4

We have once again vanquished yet another villainous version of Error Code 134. This time it is Error Code 134:64b8a94a, distant cousin of the original Error Code 134.What is Error 134? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me... no more.

Fixed an issue related to curvature points on Roofs. They should work better now.

Controller layout screens have been updated to reflect the additional controls used in the Spark’d Challenges tabs in The Gallery. So many buttons, so much to see and do.

Fixed an issue that generated an error message when submitting an item to Spark’d Challenges from Player’s catalog.

Cats & Dogs

Retrained our good Doggos and Cattos so that they can eat also not on command. So they will no longer eat only when they are told. Give them all the treats anyway - they are such good bois and girls!

Eco Lifestyle

Fixed an issue where NPC Sims would continuously steal objects from Lots without having the Kleptomaniac Trait. They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Fixed an issue in ‘Green’ Lots that did not allow Aurora Borealis and other phenomena to display. I’m glad we fixed this, now enjoy what nature has to offer.

Dine Out

Fixed an issue that made some drinks and food options be duplicated, or go missing, on restaurants’ menus. I’m all for more of everything, but this seemed a bit extreme, though double coffees… mmm coffee...

Nifty Knitting

Fixed an issue that prevented PlayStation 4 and macOS players from applying the unlockbytag SP17 successfully. All the knits belong to you.

Sims will no longer constantly knit autonomously. Ok now, we know knitting is wonderful, but there IS a thing like too much knitting. distant chants of ‘That’s right!’

Xbox One

If you subscribe to EA Access you may notice the logo displayed on the pack information screens is now displayed as EA Play as part of a rebrand of EA’s subscription.

I really dislike the attempts at humour in the patch notes, it's always rubbed me the wrong way. Constant technical issues stopped being funny about ten years ago.

    Me too..
This team tries there best to treat us like children and use humor that isn't funny.
    Wish they STOP.

At least they rolled out these fixes early and not waited for a pre-pack patch. I can appreciate that especially for the knitting one -- my Sims were leaving food cooking and going off to knit. I'd say they're still working on more fixes to come out whenever we get the next pack.

Glad they fixed the pets not eating without being told to. It got a bit wearing if you have 3!

I also wish they would wait an extra month to fix Sharing is Caring so the patch list would be longer.

I'm still waiting on a garden fix. I kind of miss having one.

This patch literally didn't fix any of the bugs I am experiencing. I mean none of them were meantioned in the latest patch notes. Which is dissapointing.

It's bothering me how yet again they've ignored most of the bugs that players have been complaining about since Eco Lifestyle came out, it's been two and a half months and 3-4 patches yet we're still getting big bugs from that.

If they are gonna continue with this..
Might as well just move on to TS5 ...

I understand that its meant to bring some life to patch notes which are normally very boring, but when the game is as buggy as this one has been for so long it just comes across as flippant.

I’m happy they addressed the stealing issue since that was a major play issue for some of the players here. But there is still gardening & many other bugs that have yet to be resolved. They should really be more attentive to patching & get better communication skills. I would also like to comment how I dislike the “humor” they try to put in these patch notes also. Stop treating me like a child already.

Maybe they're trying to figure out a fix.

Or maybe they haven't been made aware of the issue.

Or maybe they can't replicate the issue.

I agree the patches this year are not great we’ve had like 1 or 2 good ones and that’s it. Eco lifestyle is really bad and needs fixing I’m starting to think the “bugs” of naps and footprint are not bugs and are what they perceive as gameplay. If this is the case it’s bad. This is the first pack in the whole of the sims franchise I actually hate and wish I never bought. Sorry I’m rambling and going off topic which I never do. The gardening is still not fixed and most of my sims use this skill. This patch has done nothing to my game and not fixed anything at all

Eco should of never been a pack or voted on to begin with. The only pack I have ever regretted owning.

It took me 15 minutes reading about ECO on the forum to discover what's broken, and decide not to purchase until they fix it, I don't think the issues are that hard to figure out.

Yeah I don't buy that at all. They have had MUCH feedback on both forums and twitter of the bugs.

Seems they are still doing the bare minimum..
Or....the game's core is so broken they can't fix it. If that's the case, drop it like a hot potato count your losses listen to the feedback from it and work on TS5 a much better game.

It upsets me to say this but I agree it’s been such a bad year. For me personally the only good things have been the stuff packs which suits my gameplay style but I know for a lot of simmers it’s been bad. I’ve played this game since it first came out and I’ve never known it be as bad as this year. The 20th anniversary was diabolical and eco lifestyle is the worst ep I’ve ever known. I’m a simmer who will keep an open mind and appreciate if something is good but not my gameplay style (usually supernatural and gameplay stuff) but this year has been so underwhelming.

Total disrespect. We waited for a serious patch and we ended up with comedy central of patches. EA has no respect for the Sims and don't give a darn that our game is broken. Sitting around getting ready to announce another broken expansion or useless stuff pack which will also be broken.

    Sadly true.

Simvasion pretty much solved a lot of the ECO lifestyle bugs with his mod and he posted about it on Answer HQ... So...did they add those changes or not? Because I can't tell what "Fixed an issue where NPC Sims would continuously steal objects from Lots without having the Kleptomaniac Trait." is even supposed to mean. Wasn't the issue that they stole things like sinks and tables from community lots when sharing is caring was active in any neighborhood?

@simvasion sorry for tagging you but...did they look at your mod at all?
