@Alwe1507 the game creates that picture for the parent that doesn’t exist(or was deleted) to the sim below.
My sim was created in CAS and she had a blank spot as her parent. Also I transferred a daughter from one file to another and the game recognized she had parents but not whom, so it gave me that too
Edit: not so sure actually if it works for a sim freshly created in CAS but it does for my second example.
@Cavapoo_King Probably over a year and a quarter. I play rotationally so it takes me longer.
That's cool. I was wondering if you played rotationally because your family tree looks so neat.
Mine get out of control quickly. It became overwhelming to keep track of it with the Plum Tree app so I stopped, but I still have that family tree for another legacy I played here. I let MCCC handle the second generation children that moved out.
Well I haven't updated this in......almost 2 years. So uhh...
A little on the sides of that because it's too big to fit into the family tree frame
This was the branch of my Sim who had just died......BTW....all the Sims in this picture have died of old age by now.
And then here's the last picture I took. You see those Sims at the bottom? One of them was my heir at the time....Yeah, now I'm playing as his Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandson. Should update this.

Mine are Usually small ( 1 person ) this is my first family ( because I bought parenthood )
My sister made 10 generations in 1½ hours. She adopted
The tree has started to break and some family members are missing.
What does the top most right icon mean?
This looks like the family tree I've created in a completely different game - Rome II Total War 😂

I just realised the people at the top on the right hand side are on the left hand side as well
How long did that take

Goes off like this on the other side as well.
For some reason when I look at Gunnar's part of the tree it only goes so low and can't see all the descendents.
And this is where the current family tree comes to an end.
You're now caught up, congratulations.
