Your challenge/competition looks really interesting (thanks @divanthesimmer for tagging me on Twitter!). I'm not sure I understand the rules completely (like, can we use CC makeup, lashes, etc, or only clothing & is Alpha hair out?) and I have no editing skills, but thought I could give this a try or if you need any judges still, perhaps help in that way.
You are welcome, @MenaBuchner and to answer your questions, yes you can use as much CC or as little as you choose. You will not need to do any editing, and if your images need a bit of brightening up or contrasting, paint 3D that comes standard with windows can do that and we can show you how that is done.
If you are not sure how to put your Sims on a transparent background, just put them on white or a plain coloured backdrop or wall and I can cut them out for you. I only need the half-body (waist-up) shot and a whole-body shot for the certificates at the end like the example above after that you can use any sims you feel will match the scenario, could be a child, teen, YA, Adult or Elder.

I never have been able to figure this out, to post pictures (even for my SimLit stories). I do have an Imgur profile though, now that you mention it. To be honest, I think I last used it 2 years ago and only used it because a competition required me to do it that way. I just read that I can get the BB code from there so let me try that first when I have my pictures ready and if I struggle I can maybe enlist your assistance? 😊
You don't need to add [ img ] though it does it for you in the BBcode. I put spaces after the first [ and before the last ] brackets here in this message otherwise it doesn't show.

@Jendowoz0612 I think I'm going to use my Simself as the certificate model. I don't have any CC, except eye defaults, 3D eyelashes and nails, just so you know. I also don't really have much experience taking posed photos, but I will try. Would it be okay to take screenshots of my model posing in CAS? I think I'll look for some poses and a white CAS background as well.
You don't have to pose your sims, @divanthesimmer because they are candid shots of scenarios that you can find in everyday gameplay, such as fishing, or gardening, or sims arguing etc. That is fine about the CC, like I said, you can use as much or as little CC as you choose.

I currently own the following:
Expansion packs: Eco Lifestyle and Island Living
Game packs: Vampires, Strangerville and Realm of Magic.
Stuff Packs: Fitness and Moschino.
I'll happily improvise with what I've got (in fact I quite like the challenge). 😁
I do have a couple of questions if that's okay? Firstly I don't use any CC, Maxis match or any other mod content so am I alright to just use in-game CAS clothing/ hair etc?
Secondly do we have to use the same sim for the whole competition or can we use different ones depending on who fits the scenario the best?
@WhatCobblers that is absolutely fine, you can use as much or a little or no CC being all in-game shots.
The application shots are purely for the end certificates as exampled on page 1, so yes you can use any Sims of any age or gender that suit the scenario.
However, I would prefer that it were normal Sims, not vampires, aliens or any other type of fantasy Sim in this one, being a candid shot of everyday Sim scenarios unless specified otherwise for a specific scenario.
