    HOW do I get them to STOP!?

    I kicked out one of my roommates for stealing my harvestables. But now my other roommate is watering, weeding..I DO not want them to steal them. I appreciate the help but I much rather be in charge of the garden how do I get them to stop!

      I don't know, maybe you can try to build a fence around your garden and lock it for the roommates.
      -probably just playing Phasmophobia :p

      Fence them in and lock the gate. Indoors you'd have to lock them in a room. I fear there is no other vanilla solution.

      Kick them out again. I tried the roommate route and didn't like not having any control over what they do in my sims' houses...and she was my sim's best friend but I couldn't get her to stop drinking and she would leave glasses all over the house. I have enough not to be able to control the pets.
      In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

      It sounds like an NAP run amuck (from Eco Lifestyle). You need to vote (or cheat) in a different NAP. The Self Sufficiency NAP seems to be one of the tamest.

      I do the lock stuff too.. just gotta find ways to control your game.. it's part of game play to me. If you find a neat roommate ... keep them!
      I don't have one that's harvesting yet but I'd try to beat them to that part and leave the weeding and watering to them.

      I built a big fence ;) she won't be getting back in there, but I did find it hilarious she talked to the planet from behind the fence.
