Going back a couple gens, here is my Pleasant Family.
Jeff, Diane, Daniel, and Jennifer...
Jeff finally got into the astronaut program and being transferred to Willow Creek to begin his training at the Creekside Arts and Science Center. Moving his family into the Slider home at Courtyard Lane.
Diane is the typical stay at home mom. Caring for her family and making sure everything seems perfect (even if it isn't).
Daniel was less than pleased. He just made the highschool soccer team and now they have to move again. But he's the son of an would be astronaut, military man with strict family ideals and rules. He longs to be out from under the rule of his father, free to do whatever he wants.
Jen, or Jennifer is just that spunky sporty girl who right now is just enjoying being a kid. Though at times she does feel the pressure of her dad's perfectionist trait and her mother wanting her to be more girly.
They settled into the home finding their rooms, getting to know the neighbors and lay of the land. Summer was nearing its end and school was about to start. Daniel took more time getting ready than Jen, but he wanted to make a good first impression. Specially for the ladies.
Jen just hoped to make a friend and was ready to become a Scout member.
Meanwhile, Diane surfed the parenting forums and was looking into becoming the go to mom of the neighborhood. She meet Nancy Landgraab and was already talking about forming a power moms group.
Daniel wound up skipping the first day of school. He came home telling his mom it was fine and then pretended to do homework. Jen had a horrible day and came home sad, but she never said a word as to why. By the time Jeff got home everyone was in bed. And he was excited to tell them about his day of working on the rocket.
