@paladinx333: I posted the picture on an other thread. The babysitter set the baby down in the spray while they played in the sprinkler. Another babysitter was playing with the baby when a sim came home to do some gardening. The babysitter left the baby floating in midair in the middle of the room. After planting, the sim came in and picked the child up off the floor. I had to watch to see what would happen. I even recorded it.
On Thursday, my Sim get the school opportunity to Study the Science Facility. Oh, wait, I'm already packed for travelling. So, he does it after he gets back. The students go to the library to do their homework before they leave (because it disappears when they travel). Once that was done, it was off to Egypt. On Friday, after school, he had a club thing (Generations) and a club opportunity (to write articles for the school paper). Once that was done, it was too late for the Science Facility. No problem, he did it on Saturday. Unfortunately, he didn't make it to school on time to complete the opportunity, because it was a weekend and there was no school.
My Sim is about to age up from teen to young adult. The school REALLY seems to want to give her an opportunity. First was "Outside Reading", then came "Young Politician’s Club Induction" and now "Work/School Learning Project". All of them required her to perform the task, then report back to school. MONDAY. It's Friday. Her birthday will be this evening. She can't report back before then. I could have her eat a Life Fruit, but it's FRIDAY.
Update: This school has seemed to give up on the graduating Sim and offered "Outside Reading" to a younger teen.
So one of the weirdest things happened in my game. I clicked on the washing machine to have my sim do laundry and she went around the house picking up all the dirty clothes. Nothing unusual there. I figured that was taken care of so I went to my other sims to see what they were doing and when I went back to the first sim I noticed she was walking outside the house still carrying the dirty clothes. She ended up taking a taxi halfway down the street, ran across the road, took another taxi all the way down to the giant lake that surrounded the town. (This was a custom world) and proceeded to run across the lake, nearly the edge of the map, to pick up a pile of invisible clothes in the lake.
I have zero idea how there could possibly be a pile of dirty clothes in the lake, let alone clothes from my own sims when they never been anywhere in it. It was the weirdest, funniest thing to happen and I still do not understand why. All I wanted was to do laundry.
The only Plasma Fruit my Sim has grown so far was from a putrid seed. I was going to have them replant them and work them up to perfect, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. My 'just learning' cook made pancakes, with one of those lousy fruit and made everybody sick. Then she made waffles with another one, and made everybody sick. The fridge is filling up with perfect fruit, but she had to use the worst crap to make breakfast. Yeach!!
I screwed up badly. My dogs have been collecting Tiberium for quite some time now. Because my family had limited resources (I started from broke with an empty lot), I've just been collecting them. Now that money is no longer a problem (and a bunch of my Sims are getting the wish to be worth 1,000,000 simoleons) I cleaned out my rock collection, cutting the gems and smelting the metals. When they came back, I sold them all. I was just thinking, "What happened to the Tiberium spires?" I realized that I had sold them along with the other cut gems and metal ingots. I forgot to let them grow. I had more than 20 of them. OOOOPPPPPPPS!!!!!!!
