MC Command Centre help

i have mc command mod installed to help me with like establishing relationships, skills, reputations etc and it saves a lot of time when making a save file. but the mc command also causes story progression so sims are getting together and having kids without my control which messes my plans for the save file. is there any way to disable it? because I don't want to get rid of that mod completely since it's so useful.

There are settings in MCCC for all its components. You can speed up, slow down, or even make certain aspects of the game to come to a stop.

Story progression functionality is in the Population and Pregnancy modules. I would investigate the settings in those and switch things on/off as you see fit.
