Not my best looking sim, but this is Paddra Florence. What's unique about her is she's the first sim in my game..ever, to be born with eye color that doesn't match any of the parents.
So I had a turn with the Vatore household. The Vatore household that slipped into my unplayed households so uh, both everyone's favorite dreamboat Caleb and his wife died to the spectre of Neighborhood Stories. Now, what I would have liked to have done was to have Lilith reach out to her distant family members and try to overcome this grief...alas and alack, I do not have the Werewolves pack. Either or, Lilith and her wife Dina Caliente moved over to Windenburg, where there's loads of nightlife, and tons of cloud cover.
So, I've mentioned this before but thanks to Vlad's machinations, Lilith and Dina had been de-vampired. Thankfully, remember my household with vampire toddlers? Well, the parents, Omar and Roxana, both Lilith's 'offspring' as the game likes to put it, had picked up Vampire Creation as perks. It was rather simple to have Lilith ask Roxana to change her back into one...and I was pleasantly surprised to find that if you got de-turned into a normal Sim, all of your vampire progress doesn't reset and you're back into being a Grand Master Vampire.
But Roxana switched from being 'offspring' into Lilith's new master so I had to go and find some new vampire underlings to befriend. One was a bartender who had the Henford-on-Bagley focused animal aspiration so I essentally plucked her out and put her in Henford. Good luck with that aspiration, my dear, because farm animals are definitely not nocturnal! The second one is a romantic wanna-be bartender, which is like Dina! Funny that. And with befriending all of them, Lilith easily mastered her inital aspiration.
As for Dina Caliente, she managed to reach the top of her career! Now on the one hand, that's fine and all normally but she's a vampire and she's now suppoidly a celebrity mixologist. For my file, all occults want are not actively chasing fame and fortune. (Except for Katrina Caliente but uh, that might lead to some complications...) So I'm as like to shift Dina into a new job next time I pick up this household.
On another Neighborhood related stories and death, Clara (formerly) Bjergsen died and left Sophia and Elsa behind! (I do wonder if teens are exempt from the neighborhood stories death rule...) So Bjorn stepped right back into their lives to look after them and Lucas Munch. Leaving Wolfgang alone in the original Munch household.
...I really wish the randomizer would let me play out those households but NOPE! At least I'll be heading back to another one that I haven't touched on in ages...
@SamDenny I believe in RL, it's called a throw back. While blue eyes are recessive, obviously, she got enough genes from ancestors/grandparents to give her the light eyes. I'm still trying to figure out where I got my green eyes. Only 2% of the World's population has green eyes … and it's more recessive than blue eyes. Go figure.

Continuing in the Pleasant save, Andie and Lilith are now out of high school and have moved to Britchester in anticipation of being accepted to college. Lilith dominated high school, leading a circle of friends whose name "Teen Study Club" hid how much partying they really did. Despite her frequent all-nighters, Lilith was class valedictorian -- and created a career and a name for herself as a painter. She doesn't anticipate needing to hold a job once she's an adult. Andie did solid work on several aspirations and maintained sterling grades, and dated a few boys. Alexander Goth is a frequent suitor, but Andie doesn't take him especially serious.
In the main house, Jeff and Mary Sue were able to make up after Jeff discovered Mary Sue's affair. Taking inspiration from the newly-passed Free Love NAP, they've settled into a comfortable polyamory, with Brytani moving into the house and helping the Pleasants raise the kids. Andie especially enjoyed being Brytani's AV geek, editing her videos before publication. The Pleasants' oldest son, Jeffrey, is now in high school himself. The two younger kids, Daniel and Rachel, are still in elementary school.

My twins and the Pleasant twins - double wedding! Lilith learnt she was expecting a baby on her wedding day.

I didn't do it on purpose, but somehow, Forgotten Hollow's eco footprint turned green today, which I only discovered while travelling. It looks so much more magical now, with those floating lights looking like fireflies!
@GrumpyGlowfish That does look nice, though for some reason I couldn't help but imagine Vlad 's reaction. Something akin to: "Nooo! How am I supposed to appear all evil and stuff when this place is being lit up like a Christmas tree??" haha.

O hey, Axel actually showed up as the NPC doing the vampire break-in.
Except instead of doing the creepy walk he whips out a cute duck umbrella and struts in as if performing some poor man's version of Singing in the rain. It was very menacing.

@GalacticGal Lol yeah. He actually strutted all the way to the victim since he switched to a celeb walk. I completely forgot he even has that since he always uses the vampiric run power to move around. Except apparently in this case the game defaulted to this which made the whole scenario look oddly cheerful.
Vamp no. 5 burned up while talking to Guildry. This is getting frustrating.

You can get a Sun Resistance perk when you level Vamp skills enough to unlock it. That keeps them from incinerating outside. Nevermind, I just saw you had the Thin Skinned perk. lol Do you name them Cinder, Ash, Charcoal, Ember, Flame, Sparky...ok, I'll stop now.
Not much to report at the moment, I'm afraid. I had some issues in my Flashback save that prevented me from getting any Teen into school. Took me half of the day! I got to downloading the EP just after eleven AM, didn't take long. Then I couldn't have my Sims resume school. Turns out it was a mod or mods blocking the MCCC command. Once I removed them, the hot fix MCCC worked just fine. Put the mods back in I absolutely needed and were cleared by their creators, and discovered I forgot to have one Sim resume school. With the mods in place I was able to have her resume school. Yesterday was whacky. I even posted a thread about What A Day and A Half It's Been. Finally, close to three in the afternoon, I was able to send the Teen version of Erik Cantrell to school along with Joey. No other of my Teen Sims showed up, as suspected. It was that way if they weren't active prior to this EP. Pity, that. I do intend to have Erik invite her to the Prom, if that's even possible. I'm toying with the idea of taking her to school today, when I power up my game. I know Erik won't be there. But I'm hoping if the game recognizes her as a student, he can bring her to Prom. Maybe? I've spent way too much time and energy on an EP that so far has thwarted my hopes and dreams. I'm glad to read that some are getting kicks out of this EP, but unless something drastic happens to change my mind, it's a flat out bust for me. Now, I understand the dream I had early Thursday morning.
I may just get daring. What if I set up a lavish party for my Teens (all of them) at a venue off campus. Who cares if it's not actually a Prom prom? The ides is to get all gussied up, dance, have punch and have a good time. Maybe Erik can even take Kayleigh out to dinner, prior to the party? We'll see what happens.
I first planned to play with some premade family in a new save because of the aging bug, but then I decided to take a risk and play with my old Sims that I deleted earlier because they were boring. I changed their personalities and I wish they are more interesting now. It seems promising.

Sidney managed to beat the bully. Wolfgang caused problems all day, but Sidney finally had enough.
Lindsay practiced her cheer routine but her father kept bothering her. "Go away dad, I don't have time for your nonsense now, I have to practice."
Okay, today was much better. I think I was just aggravated at all of the obstacles in my way. So, I rolled back to have them begin HS anew. There was a fire drill, which was totally unexpected and no real instructions as to what the kids were to do. So, I simply had Erik and his brother leave the building. Made sense to me. Roles have reversed when it comes to end of day evaluation. This time Erik is getting the praise and his younger brother was perceived as inattentive. Say, what? It's Erik who got to the second class late and in the middle of things took out his guitar and started to play. LOL Of course, he made certain to be friendly with a faculty member and also a fellow student, as were the goals. Sucking up to others must be the way to go? (I don't really like those types, myself.)
Erik did stay behind on Wednesday, to take advantage of studying for the exam on Friday, as advised. Got home late, did his homework, held a concert and a photoshoot. Did some Extra Credit when he got back. And basically was up all night. Joey, on the other hand did his homework and Extra Credit while Erik was off and about. Poor Brianna can't get passed an A, how she suffers …
Erik chatted with a girl who acted all flirty with him. (Please, don't breathe a word of this to Kayleigh. She'll be crushed.) Prom is on Saturday. I have to chuckle. Both Erik and Joey are doing so well, they were both invited to graduate early. I'm sitting here wondering if that's because I have aging off? I'm afraid to change the setting. I've read some people are experiencing the aging phenomenon even on Normal length.
Since I learned the first go-around that I wanted to give him more time to fully experience this time in his life, I cancelled. He's been offered it twice today. I have little hope he can take Kayleigh to the Prom, but I may have him ask someone as a friend? I still don't like how this is set-up. My youngest son was in the Army and was able to escort a young lady to her Prom. Of course, he wore his dress uniform.
I have to laugh, twice, once on each school day, I heard a man's voice over the intercom channel. "Students," and then it was immediately in either a foreign language or Simlish. I have no idea what the announcement was about. LOL No translation on a popup, either. Oh, well. I'm shutting down for the night. But, this is a rundown on what happened. And, I'm liking this EP better.

I hear you on that one. I spent most of the day of release just getting the Resume School situation sorted out. Yikes. Which is why I started over. Rolled back to the earlier save is all. Not a total restart, that would take way too long. And, I'm very displeased that the first time I played, I was given an option to explore I guess, ways to renovate the school, which I did. I closed in the Cafeteria (or whatever they call it.) However, I was vexed to see my work didn't stick. Guess, it was just to show us it could be done?
Thanks for the warning @GalacticGal I will be weary if I choose to redesign the school.

@NRowe So far I haven't seen any puberty changes. Now, I did go and give Erik some chest hair after the patch, was that enough to keep him from going through anything that comes with adolescence do you think?
