I haven't kept up with The Sims 4 for a bit, and I don't know where to post this. I was working on a small house, went to add the stairs against the wall as always and noticed a new (to me) option on them. I clicked it and the stairs bent around with a landing in the middle. My goodness, the joy I felt, lol! Love it. Building is not my strength in Sims games, but one thing I will say is that building a fairly nice looking house, if you're bad at it, is doable in Sims 4. Thanks.

Yes, the stair update is one of the best base game upgrades we've gotten in the past year. It makes both small homes and towers so much better to work with.
