At this point Tomoko is practically an honorary family member. I’ll miss her when Vlad completes the self-care specialist aspiration. Hopefully she doesn’t die before then, though! Did you turn off aging for her so she won’t die on you?
On the subject of which: noo, Rowan! :'( It’s always sad to see the previous heir die, but hey, at least he got that werewolf grandchild before he passed.
Oh my gosh, I wrote this comment before I finished reading! Not Alyssa too!
Maybe it’s for the best, though. This way she’ll be in the legacy forever as a ghost. At this point, maybe you should just have a second crypt for non-family members who’ve died on the lot, like Alyssa and the townie Adonis murdered for his grilled cheese aspiration. Now that of think of it, isn’t there a point for making ambrosia, or am I mistaken? If there is, that could be a way to bring Alyssa back.

Oh that's interesting. I think both parents are currently somewhere around skill level 6 in parenting.

All these information are based on parents interacting with their kids :joy: Uhm  Well, at least a lot of them, not all.

All I know is that it stinks :s

Why do I keep forgetting you've got immortal vampires in the household? Of course this makes keeping the oldest kid easier. Also takes a free slot away tho. The last part was the reason why I moved out the oldest siblings.

How about "living ancestor"? :joy: Something that sounds ancient.

At least you're not too lazy to go to the hospital. I didn't have the money for the first baby craddle so the poor thing had to suffer and wait until the game donated one :joy:

I've had those negative tests in a row a lot actually. It gets scarier with each test o.O

Maybe the ghosts are like "Thunder and lightning? Why should I be scared? It can't kill me anymore".

Yeah I thought about the times since you said it was fixed. It still feels super long to me.

Why the said emoji? I'm glad the bunnies are safe :D

    New chapter:
Rowan's death shocked Nemmie so hard that she changed into her human form!

Vlad crying still looks so uncommon to me. But at least it shows he cared about Rowan!

Tomoko looks cute! And giving a sim nails is a lot of effort :p

Are there special eye colours for werewolves too?

Oh no, poor Alyssa! And also poor Deuce. Shame on you, Vlad!

You can avoid the sad moodlets about missed holidays but simply deleting them in the calendar once and for all. I did that and it was such a relief!

Why does Keanu drink from sims at the hospital? They are most likely sick :#

What kind of language is Cornish? Where do people speak it? Clueless here.
  • MaggieMarleyMaggieMarley Posts: 5,299 Member
@MossyMeow No, I didn't turn off aging for Tomoko so it was a bit nerve wracking hoping that she wouldn't die before Vlad completed his aspiration!
It was sad to see Rowan go... But as a mermaid he'd been alive for AGES (mermaids get like 32 bonus days).

Yeah poor Alyssa - that was a complete shock to me. I've actually put her urn in the family inventory so we won't be seeing her as a ghost (I want to limit the house's ghosts to family members and pets). I ended up doing the same with the townie that Adonis murdered iirc.

Hmm not sure if there is a point for making ambrosia. Will need to check that. I do think that the rules say you can't bring back ghosts from the dead but again I will need to double check that!

    @Queenarella
Most of the ways of gaining/losing character value points actually don't require any parental interaction! But for a lot of them you can additionally have a parent encourage/discourage the behaviour if you want in order to get bonus character points.

yeah I may end up moving Una out for that reason... We shall see! With Vlad sticking around, that's another household slot used up.

Ohhh maybe they can refer to him as 'Ancestor Vlad' rather than 'Great great great.... grandad Vlad'? That's kinda neat.

I did end up getting lazy and just sending Nemmie off to the hospital on her own for babies 4 and 5 haha. She just disappeared into a rabbithole and it was a lot less time consuming.

You're nicer than me. I want Nemmie to eat some bunnies! >:)
Interesting story: I could see with MCCC that Rowan was on his last day and thought I should probably have Nemmie have an actual conversation with him before he died. I'd just had Nemmie change into her human form so that I could get some nice screenshots of her talking to him/saying goodbye before he passed.... And then he decided to drop down dead before she could say a word to him!!!

I actually don't think there are special eye colours for werewolves but I could be wrong. will need to double check that in game.

    It's just L after L for Alyssa :D

I kinda like having the holidays because it feels wrong not to have them in a way and I always think 'oh maybe I'll celebrate them next time' (and very occasionally they do do some of the traditions) but your method of just deleting them is probably the most sensible.

Cornwall is a place in England! Nowadays people in Cornwall speak English as their first language I believe but they used to speak Cornish (I think this language has pretty much died out now at least as a first language but it's still important to Cornish people's heritage etc.

My sims always end up with the responsibility trait without even trying. They are forced to do their homework so that is probably the reason. As a teacher I make them do their homework of course :p

The household slots are the only problem with the 10 babies score point. Everything else is actually not that bad. I hope you'll find a way to keep Una :)

It would be a lot shorter than all the greats :D

Ha, I totally forgot you can send them on their own. Did you get the right occult cradle this way?

Chocolate bunnies :p I guess the cuteness part made it unable for werewolves to eat bunnies?

Oh no that's the worst timing ever! :'( Poor Rowan! I wonder if his ghost will be blue or red when he comes out of his urn the first time.

As in "special eye colours" I also included the occult versions from other occults ^^

"L after L"? I've never heard this and I'm clueless about its meaning

To be fair, the gnome kicking or appeasing with all the seed packs is kinda cool. The other holidays are so boring. Like how am I supposed to fulfill the romance day wishes for my teen who just aged up? :D

Oh I didn't know Cornwall had its own language! That's a cool thing to know, thank you :)

    @Queenarella
mine always end up responsible and good mannered without me trying!but those are the best parenthood traits so I don't complain... annoying when you are going for the negative traits though. But it is pretty easy to get irresponsible and bad manners if you put a little effort in.

If I do end up keeping Una it will probably just mean that this gen goes on even longer but oh well.

Yep I got the right occult cradle from sending Nemmie to hospital alone! I kinda don't like not having a screenshot of her giving birth though.

Hmm I THINK Rowan was red the first time I saw him as a ghost

I know what you mean with the occult eyes but I don't remember if werewolves have theories special yees available to them either... I want to say that they don't but it feels like they should.

I think 'taking an L' might be a British term. In this context 'L' stands for 'loss' so if you take an L it means that something bad has happened to you/or you failed at something. So taking L after L would mean that bad things keep happening to you.

You like the gnomes? I hate the gnomes so much! I actually always go straight to build mode and delete them on harvestfest.

I've never tried to get the bad traits. I guess they make life for that sim harder :#

It's a real dilemma! But to be honest, I wouldn't mind more chapters. Others probably feel the same :)

Why does it feel like a must-do to take a screenshot of labour starting, the baby with the sparkle and also a cuddle pic? :joy:

Have you ever seen any other ghost colour on their first time out? I've only noticed red and blue. As if they were sad or angry about being dead.

It does feel like they should have special occult eyes...

Oh that makes a lot of sense acutally! :) I'm not an English native speaker so it could be a common thing to say and I've just not come across it so far.

When they aren't angry at your gift the gnomes are actually very handy. They spawn these seed packs and worst case you can sell them and best case you get some new plants.

    New chapter:
Why do werewolves do the superhero landing pose when marking their territory? Anyone who's ever peed behind a bush knows you do not want to touch the ground there :joy:

Wolfgang looks funny :joy: In a cute way tho. As cute as those werewolves can be...

Nice to see Nemmie bend the knee :p

Congrats on completing the forever aspiration! Just imagine Tomoko would have passed away of old age before you get to finish it :s

The facial hair in the dark form made Vlad look ridiculous. Good thing you changed it back to normal!

    Ah, Caly being Caly :D

The Chronicles of the Evil Voice :joy: best title ever!

    William

It feels good to know that bunny there is safe :p

I've never tried to get the bad traits either because they do make things harder for sims. I've had an irresponsible sim before though, just because he skipped school all the time. He could not hold down a job as an adult to being irresponsible lol.

    Aww thank you <3

LOL I know exactly what you mean! I usually try to always get those screenshots of my sims' babies births too.

I will have to pay closer attention to the ghosts colours the first time that I see them but I don't think I've seen a colour other than blue or red the first time that I see them. It's weird.

I do think it's British slang because I've only ever heard this expression used by British people, never by Americans.

Yeah the seed packets are helpful but I really hate how the gnomes break everything unless you placate them.... And I'm always too lazy to have my sims give them gifts.
I think that werewolves do that pose when they pee because it's the position that female dogs take irl when they pee... However, it's just now occurred to me that surely male werewolves in the game should therefore lift their leg in order to mark their territory? :D

I like that Wolfgang has glasses even in his wolf form!

Re Tomoko dying of old age: it was a close thing. She ended up dying fairly soon after Vlad finished his aspiration (a few days after if I recall correctly?) this aspiration was the absolute worst!

I agree, it was not a good look for him!

To be honest, I was shocked that Will's ghost was still around! I'd have thought it would have been culled by the game ages ago.
  • QueenarellaQueenarella Posts: 3,379 Member
    @MaggieMarley
Wait, does this mean he got fired from every job? :o

I think I noticed it somewhere around the middle of my previous legacy. I've paid attention since and there were no other ghosts than red and blue ones. I really want to believe that's on purpose :)

The gnomes are usually pleased with toys and another thing I can't remember right now. And I feel like it's a lot easier now to please them than a year ago.

But wouldn't the second hand be on the ground too then?

Oh gosh, I really don't look forward to doing that one. There are aspirations that are way too easy and then there are ones that are painful to finish :bawling:

He's too special to be culled :p Or the game really wanted to send a message :#

    New chapter:
Oh wow, you really had a super close call with Tomoko! I bet there are actual family members who got less screenshots than Tomoko :joy:

I think you didn't mention Tressa's occult form but it was obvious from her cradle :)

The moon screenshot is really lovely!

Hahaha I bet Nemmie loves making sims pass out too :D

Independent is a gift from heaven! I wish all toddlers would get that trait.

Una looks cute! Don't ask why but I feel like she looks like a werewolf  Maybe her face reminds me of that Twilight werewolf dude somehow?

What is wrong with work outfits? They are ALL messed up.

I think shaking a baby is illegal as it can seriously harm the baby. But I'm not sure about toddlers.

With the death flower on the desk: I really need to look up how to get it. They're very expensive, aren't they?

Deuce likes that his dad feels sick :joy:

What if the bartender's name is Jane?

Calm down, Keanu. You're not the heir :p

    @Queenarella
A sim with the irresponsible trait seems to be constitutionally incapable of holding down a job. They get MISERABLE from going to work, every chance card goes wrong no matter what option you pick, and their job performance will unavoidably plummet until they get demoted and demoted and (no doubt) eventually fired. This only seems to apply to when you send a sim off to a rabbit hole job though. I had no problem getting my irresponsible sim to level 10 of the science career when I played him actively. Once he got to level 10 and I started sending him to work on his own though... Oh boy, he started losing job performance FAST. I had to give him the reward trait which makes sims incapable of being demoted (I think it is called professional slacker). So he just bumped along with his work performance at the absolute bottom of the work performance bar without being demoted. However, he'd come back from work so miserable that I eventually allowed him to quit. He never actually got fired but only because he had the reward traits (the professional slacker trait) which stops sims from being demoted/fired.

Maybe ghosts are programmed to be in a bad mood to make them more likely to break things.

Thing is, I'm just too lazy to make my sims stop grinding away at skills/aspirations etc for one second to appease the gnomes!
Yup I really did! I did check with MCCC to see how many days she had left because I was nervous she would die before Vlad finished the aspiration but I was able to see that she had enough fine left thankfully. If she hadn't then I would have had to have had Vlad give her one of those spellcaster potions that resets the sim's age bar(I think it is called the potion of rejuvenation - Amora made quite a lot of them).

Independent is the best if you want to make the toddlers get their skills up. But after Una I gave up on this so none of theresg of the kids will get the toddler bonus traits.

Haha you think Una looks like Jacob from Twilight? Hmm not sure I see it but maybe it's the hair?

I think this work outfit might be intentional since it is the stylist career and stylists can be a bit experimental with fashion! But who knows with this game.

Wow I didn't know that shaking a baby was illegal but then again it has never crossed my mind to do it. That makes sense though. Thankfully in the sims the toddlers seem to survive being shaken like that.

The family has a death flower plant and I harvest it every day so they have a LOT of deathflowers in case of accidental deaths. I think Vlad found the first death flower in a rare seeds packet (you need level 10 gardening to buy those seed packets though). You can also catch death flowers fishing sometimes and I think there is a shop in the magical realm that sometimes sells them.

    @MaggieMarley
That's awful! I really don't want this trait ever now! :/ Tho I also hate the workaholic lifestyle... The sim is tense from not going to work seconds after coming back from work -.-

Hm, but they always break things, no matter what colour they are :D

I played a non-legacy safe two days ago and one gnome decided NOT to be appeased -.- Hated it!

Oh lol, you always have a backup plan for everything!

That's one thing I really care about in the game: all my toddlers always max all skills  The extra trait is very helpful! Oh, and they only get to graduate from school with As :D

It might be the hair, yes.

Back in my grow out the ugly challenge one sim joined the military and it was too funny seeing him march around the neighbourhood in gowns :joy: Weirdest job clothes ever.

I think it only occurs for babies as their neck and head isn't done growing together yet (????). Well, I've read about people shaking their baby in frustration (and with lots of lack of sleep) and the cases usually ended up with a jail sentence... The babies don't survive the shaking, so it's basically manslaughter :/

Oh so you didn't craft it but found it. Hm, maybe I'll try the seed packs once the family has someone with gardening at level 10 and enough money

    New chapter:
I hate it when toddlers break the doll house and then cry about it being broken -.-

I love how you get both occult forms! 2 vamps, 2 wolves :p

Quade is a lovely name! I was tortured with Latin in school but I have no idea about the ordinal numbers

    Poor Una :joy:

I'm curious to see how hard it is to get all 5 character traits :) Do you only want Una to have the positive ones?

It seems like sims can sense it when you end the baby making because right then they get whims to try for baby. ALWAYS.
  • MaggieMarleyMaggieMarley Posts: 5,299 Member
    @Queenarella
It's kind of a funny trait but yeah not worth it unless you're going for one of the bonus legacy challenge points.

True, the bonus toddler traits are really helpful for the faster skill gain. But I'm too lazy this gen to really bother with them as there are just too many kids :D

Oh yeah I remember that. I think they said that they fixed this career outfit glitch though? Nemmie hasn't been wearing any gowns to work at any rate!

Oh gosh that is so sad :( well even if they are objects in the game, at least sims babies can't get hurt like that.

Yeah the rare seed packets are probably the easiest way to get the death flowers!
It is so annoying! But maybe not totally unrealistic?

I'm happy that I'm getting a mix of werewolves and vampires. Would have been annoying to only get werewolves or only vampires. Also glad that we don't seem to have any glitchy hybrids yet (wish we could have proper hybrids tho).

Thank you, I like it too! I also did Latin at school and also, weirdly, didn't do numbers.

There is one bonus point for getting all of the parenthood traits in the game at some point in the legacy and another bonus point for having one sim with parenthood traits for all of the character values. So, I'm just going to have Una get all of the positive parenthood traits and Tressa get all of the negative ones. That way I'll get both bonus points. Turns out that it actually isn't very difficult to get all of the traits. At the moment in my game Una is in range for all of the positive parenthood traits and Tressa is in range for all of the negative ones. Was fairly easy to get them there.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this chapter!

Una's definitely my favourite so far, she's just so much fun - and so much like her mother! I'm sure that Vlad would vote for her too, if she could. Quentin is an excellent name, by the way!

There are tricks to get the skills to level 5 with almost no effort at all. They helped me get all 10 kids achieve the best toddler trait :)
    1. Go with Thinking first. Let the toddler watch an adult sim do anything, skilling for example.
    2. Blarffy for Communication. Easiest way.
    3. Let your toddler watch someone play an instrument to gain Immagination faster. If you don't have a sim playing an instrument in the household, use the doll house, toys and reading to toddler a lot.
    4. Play for Movement. I usually don't do this skill on purpose because when the toddlers walk around the house to do stuff, they gain it anway. Also, let them run around a lot. Bonus: you get screenshots looking like they're running away :D
    5. Potty... Train them when the bar is half full/empty. Otherwise they use the diaper too often.

Yeah, the one thing I don't want fixed was fixed :'(

Yeah that's a good thing about the babies in the game.

I only have a niece so I don't have too much insight into little kids being destructive  She sometimes throws stuff around when she's done using it but the toys would never break.

It seems like hybrids aren't a thing at all with werewolves (maybe something added to a code or so?) because of the common glitches/problems with other hybrid forms.

In Latin you don't learn anything useful. You learn vocabs about war and death and then you translate Caesar's military stories -.-

It's that easy? Wow, I didn't expect that. I guess you need to be patient tho? Poor Tressa :'(:D

Oh wow, I missed two new chapters  Time to read up!

    4.11:
It seems the erratic trait only starts acting out with teens and older. Sadly.

I'm really curious how Tressa will turn out with all these negative traits

    Quade has purple eyes

Oh no, not a mullet :D I've had the wrong eye and hair colour thing a lot before. It's kinda sad.

He's not nekked. He's wearing slippers :joy:

    4.12:
Quentin is a cool name because it reminds me of Quentin Tarantino!

Tressa stomping her tiny feet is so cute!

Why do townies still get inside a house? So annyoing!

Well, don't invade a household if you don't want to be bothered :D

Those tiny pink slippers are probably soaking wet by now ^^

Hm, looks like the diary as it's kinda pink?
  • MaggieMarleyMaggieMarley Posts: 5,299 Member
    :) Thank you @lilypadmeulin
vlad would definitely vote for Una if he could haha. I like Una too (mostly just because of her eyes because I'm shallow lol). She's a teen in my game now and I can't wait to play HSY with her!

    @Queenarella
Thank you for the tips! I actually did not know about the watching sims play an instrument to raise imagination one :o buuuuut I think I'm still too lazy to try and have the toddlers this gen get their skills to level 3 or 5 since it's less effort to just completely ignore them :D:) yes I am a bad bad sim parent please don't judge me!

I was a hundred percent expecting Nemmie and Keanu to have some glitchy hybrid babies so I'm glad that they actually managed to make werewolf hybrids impossible in the course of normal gameplay Of course non glitchy hybrids would be the dream but yeah that's not a thing in TS4.

At school in our Latin lessons we had to translate lots of stories about a dude from Pompeii called Caecilius and his family into English. I think I still remember the names of the whole family. I actually kind of liked the stories :D spoiler alert though: they die in the end (when the volcano goes boom).

Don't feel too bad for Tressa. She is getting to skip school every day to keep her responsibility nice and low. She's having a grand old time just hanging out at home making messes and being rude to random townies in my game.

I have so many pre-written chapters (up to chapter 19) that I decided to post one every other day just to get them out there. Now that HSY is out, there's going to be more chapters soon too :D

    4.11
Yup. I mean, Una talks to herself and tells stories to friends but no randomly getting naked and showering in the rain like the erratic teens/adults do.

Me too. I've never played with a sim with any of the negative parenthood traits except for irresponsible so I don't know what effect the others really have.

I do really like the purple eyes... But I'm actually kind of hoping that more of the kids get Keanu's yellow eyes (though obviously only vampires can get those).

I guess when the game can't give a kid one parent's occult eyes it just picks a ransom eye colour. It should pick the other parent's eye colour though. You don't like the mullet hairstyle? Awww I quite like this hairstyle from the werewolves pack, I think it's quite cool looking!

Haha my mistake Quade is as good as fully clothed ;)

    4.12
Ohhh I didn't think of that but you are right, love that name association!

It always breaks my heart just a little bit to see the toddlers throwing a tantrum because they do look cute doing it. I almost feel guilty for mistreating Tressa...

I think Una has the pink diary so you are probably right! I should have given her a dairy in a colour easier to tell apart from the orange homework book honestly.
  • QueenarellaQueenarella Posts: 3,379 Member

As long as you don't put them in a dungeon it's still fine :joy:

I think the rank system might be the main reason why you can't have werewolf-vampire-hybrids. You can't have both systems

The name sounds familiar, it could be that we had to translate the texts as well. The worst texts were by Cicero. The sentences were long and complicated. We even had to talk about the translations to understand the meaning :joy:

Sounds like a teenage dream. She won't be part of the heir poll tho, will she? :p

She'll start with all the erratic madness in her teens :D

You'll find out about the negative effects with Tressa!

All the little side safes I play while waiting for my legacy to go on (played way too far ahead) have sims with the purple eyes. I love them lately

The same happens with the hair colours. Mo's blue hair caused so many other colours. I'm not sure if I should change the hair back to blue ^^ Mullets are horrible :D I judge people who've got them. Yes, I'm bad >:)

Focus on the toddlers being annoying :D For whatever reason, ALL my toddlers went to the parents' bedroom and cried to wake them up for no reason at all. Every single day. Toddlers are little monsters. Don't feel guilty.

You can change the colour of the diary?

    New chapter:
It's the best way to remember who is a vampire and who's a werewolf by how much Vlad cares about them :joy:

I think you mustn't bring back sims with ambrosia who are part of the household. You don't break the rules here. And isn't there a score point for making the highest quality ambrosia? Or is it Baked Alaska?

Maybe you can buy the fish somewhere? I think I saw it in a list at some point but no idea where...

Did you get a notification about CPS?

The parental applause really is creepy :D
  • MaggieMarleyMaggieMarley Posts: 5,299 Member
    @Queenarella
True. Spellcaster vampire hybrids can happen in game though I think (or could until they fixed it) and they both have power trees. They were super glitchy.

I never translated any cicero! They clearly thought we were too dumb for that. It was mostly sentences like 'Caecilus est in horto" for us :D

If a kid is meant to inherit an unmatural hair colour but doesn't I usually change it to the unnatural colour. Just realised I have a teen in my game (one of Nwmmie and Keanu's kids) who has brown hair but is meant to have grey hair though and I haven't changed it because I forgot.

Oh it is so annoying when the toddlers do that. It is one of the reasons that I often lock them in their own room.

Yeah when you buy the diary in BB mode you can pick from different colours like with the furniture and other items!
Yeah Vlad is pretty biased haha he doesn't even pretend to love all his grandkids equally

Thing is, to bring Alyssa back with ambrosia I would have to make her join the household so that I could control her and get her to eat the ambrosia... So I'd end up breaking that rule. Maybe I could have her move in with Lori and have Vlad Gift her the ambrosia, then play Lori's household and make Alyssa eat it. That feels like it would be against some rule but oh well.

Yeah the bonus point is for baked alaska. I did that one last gen iirc.

Hmm not sure. I ended up catching one in the end though.

    Nope no CPS notifications yet!

It is so weird, especially when the kids are teens.
  • QueenarellaQueenarella Posts: 3,379 Member
    @MaggieMarley
Why did I forget about the spellcaster power trees? :D Wasn't this hybrid form the reason why the devs said no more hybrids?

Cicero was brutal. The only texts I actually liked translating were those poems about metamorphosia or whatever it was called. The sentences were short and easy.

Yeah it's the boy with the mullet ^^ Uhm, Deuce? I think it's Deuce. Hm, I might change the hair colours in my game too as the kids would obviously have the blue hair from Mo.

It seems to be more often now tho. Last year when I had to stop playing this waking up with crying was very rare and mainly with fuzzy toddlers. Now more toddlers do that. Every night :'(

I'm pretty sure every parent or grandparent secretly has a favourite :p My grandma has one for sure. It changes frequently but she has a favourite (I think currently it's me :D )

It's also a rule that you mustn't play another household during the legacy  But that's a rule you can bend a lot. Just think about all the rule bending during the bachelor/ette part B) I mean, it's not a family member, it's not a household member (I guess the main "problem" would be the extra money but that's not a problem in your household) and she would move out after she's back to life. I'd say it's not cheating at all :)

I tried it with Sophie but gave up after one day (sim day) :D

    New chapter:
Quentin's sad little face breaks my heart!

Just imagine parents would make out in front of their kids like this in real life :joy:

Nemmie maxing the parenting skill is so ... unreal! She's not really the best mother tbh :p

Oh, so all the bad behaviour has no influence on the trait randomizer ^^ For whatever reason I thought a badly behaved sim becomes mean or evil or similar.

Woah! Una's behaviour traits are maxed in the green :o Awesome job! :)

Don't feel bad that you can't be rude :p That's a big plus.

A nekked toddler farting... A risk I wouldn't take :joy:

Tressa looks cute! Too bad she'll be a horrible sim ...

I think hybrids were actually never meant to be possible. Not sure when they got patched out but I think it was vampire alien hybrids which were the first to be taken care of (so you can't get those hybrids from abductions anymore). I wish they had just made hybrids non glitchy rather than getting rid of them tbh.

Thankfully I have Vlad and Keanu who don't need sleep to stop the toddlers waking up Nemmie.

Haha you are probably right. My grandparents have been dead for quite a long time but I'm pretty sure my Grandma at least had a favouriite (spoiler: it wasn't me :D )

So I've gotten really side tracked with playing with HSY but if I remember to I'll need to bring Alyssa back at some point. Thank you for reassuring me that it wouldn't be against the spirit of the rules![

Honestly I don't blame you haha. You saved Sophie (and you) some suffering./spoiler]
I bet some parents do. And their kids grow up traumatised.

Yup Nemmie is not a natural parent but I guess the game doesn't care about that with the whole parenting skill thing so long as she helps with homework and stuff.

Hmmm I kind of assumed that the game's trait randomiser was truly random so that bad behaviour wouldn't impact on what traits a sim gets but maybe it's not? It would be fun if it did take into account behaviour and previous traits.

Now I just need to keep Una's character values all in range! What complicates that is dealing with all the 'ask for advice' popups as each option will decrease one character value. I'm cancelling every 'ask for advice' interaction that I see.

LOL omg I didn't think of that but um yes a naked toddler faring is definitely a sharting risk :D

Aww Tressa won't be a horrible sim... She'll just be behaviourally challenged ;)
